“ Do Not Fear - Trust God ” This message was very timely for me as I ponder the future. The fear of the unknown? Thank you Rev Powell for this exhortation from God's Word and I pray others will be blessed as well. Thank you Pastor Powell. You understand. According to my extensive Bible studies as of late, and the opinions of many evangelists, your sermon is....relieving to my heart. I love my Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart and have been so conflicted while trying to heal from abuse. I wish your church was nearby. I would feel protected and loved as one of your flock. I need a church but as a divorcing and abused woman, I worry about more condemnation added to what I escaped. God Bless You!
“ A Vital Message for the Church ” Thank you for a validating and encouraging sermon on a greatly ignored and downplayed serious subject within our own house. I've shared this with a couple of Christian support groups for abused women, and I wonder - Is there a transcript of this sermon for the hearing-impaired?
“ Dwelling in Unity ” Pastor Powell continues in his expounding of the Psalms of Ascents and brings attention to vs 1 "Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!" Could it be that the reason many do not dwell in unity is because they truly do not desire to worship the "true" Lord and Saviour? Many are without sound Christ-honouring fellowships. If you have a Christ-honouring shepherd/pastor, I plead with you to not take your assembling together for granted. vs 3 "For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore." AMEN!

“ Psalms of Ascents series ” I was first made aware of the 11th sermon in this series, "Dealing With Abusive Men", Psalm 129. I was so taken aback at the forthright, honest delivery of God's Word in regards to this delicate subject. This prompted me to commence listening to the whole series. LIVING WITH DECEITFUL MEN reminds us that there are those who have "lying lips and ... a deceitful tongue". Although they speak of "peace", "they are for war."
Thank you Lord for Pastor Powell. The downcast and broken-in-spirit need more pastors like him.

“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you for this sermon. After 32 years, I fled because I couldn't get help from the Church. I have lost my children, everyone sided with him. I became a victim again through the church. It has been 9 years now and he has passed on to his reward and I am slowly healing.
