“ Insightful Sermon! ” We can learn much about today's problems with our churches by seeing what took
place in early Christian times with their
churches. The Gospel is not taught in
many churches today, and our people are
getting weaker with Satan putting deception into what we're hearing.
“ Comforting Sermon! ” This message could have been delivered directly to me. I share the previous life of Brother Harman on his path to salvation. I have even more to thank because I did not receive God's Grace until I was 80 years old. How can I give thanks enough for God's patience throughout my sinful life. Thank you Jesus Christ for giving me eternal life with You.
“ Strong Sermon! ” This message gives us a good overview of some of the major activities happening throughout our society and also within many churches. The New Age Movement is now in our public school system and deceiving young children. Satan is the leader of it all and it is getting worse.
“ Strong Sermon! ” This message points out strong principles that will help us in forming a regular and meaningful prayer life. I will have to listen to this more to make sure it helps in my praying.
“ Enlightening Sermon! ” We all can have a greater prayer life especially when we see how Jesus Christ did His praying. Listening to this message should help motivate us.
“ Helpful Sermon! ” This sermon gave me strong help in looking at my problems with greater dependence on Jesus Christ's work and
the Holy Spirit's work in me. Psalm 51 has a good message that I will try to
look to when things get tough.
“ Enlightening Sermon! ” The examples and principles given in this message are excellent in telling us
how things were happening with the Corinthians and how they picture what is
happening our churches. Great message for us to follow today.
“ Powerful Sermon! ” This message has shown me the same attempt to get the deepest feeling and understanding of what Jesus Christ suffered with the weight of our sins. I try to imagine some of the depth of what He might have felt of The Father's condemnation of sin placed upon His Son. I would like to hear this type of message preached in today's churches. We need it.
“ Joyful Sermon! ” If you have problems in your life, this message is for you. The examples given will lift you up. You can expect trials throughout your life, but Jesus Christ is suffering with you and you will find
strength with Him.
“ Strong Sermon! ” The focus should be on Jesus Christ whenever we hear Christian preaching. If there are any other reasons that are above Him, it is not the True Gospel and will lead us to a false understanding. Too many churches talk about all kinds of things without mentioning our Lord.
“ A Sermon for Today ” This message could have been preached as looking at the USA today. Immorality, lovers of pleasure, weak church preaching, natural tragedies, everything that is going on today. But we still don't prepare to meet our God. Expect 2016 to be a terrible year without Revival.
“ Helpful Sermon! ” This message gave me a helpful point of view of looking at my present problem. His explanation made good spiritual sense in that God is sovereign and is controlling everything happening to me. My problem will become suffering for blessing as I understand it. It does give me relief.
“ Insightful Sermon! ” Again this sermon gives us deeper
understanding about the Holy Spirit and its working. We can't ever get too much discussion on the blessing of the Holy Spirit in our life. Excellent message.
“ Excellent Sermon! ” For many years I thought I was a true
Christian because I studying the Holy Scriptures regularly. But only 2 years ago did I actually understand that I needed to be "born again" which happened to me through God's Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ. Now I have the Holy Spirit living in me and am a totally changed creature. I love my Lord and Savior with a new and deeper understanding of being a child of God.
“ Powerful Sermon! ” Another outstanding expository message on the deep meaning of Grace in our salvation. Brother Gene gives some excellent views on how God's Grace in eternity past has saved us through Faith in Jesus Christ.
“ Deep Sermon! ” This message touches on some of the most profound parts of a Christian having Jesus Christ in him and seeing that Jesus Christ is in God and we in Him. Trying to understand this totally takes more than I can handle, but I accept it and know that I will understand it all when I am in heaven. Truly a very deep sermon.
“ Strong Sermon! ” Where to you stand as a strong Christian? This message gives us a great profile of one who stands strong in our Lord and Savior. It also points out the weakness of so many churches in preaching the Gospel. It would be great if this message were preached every few weeks instead of some of the empty messages being heard.
