Excellent point made how GOD has set up through believers HIS victory. Defeating the darkness through the death and resurrection of JESUS and establishing HIS mark (those born again) in this spiritually dark world.

Thanks for some great book recommendations. I ordered copies of the Postman and Adler books you were citing. I’m forwarding this message to our men’s group. We do need to do more than just “read” our Bibles. My prayer like Brian’s is that our lord would change my heart. I use his Psalm 119 meditations regularly.

Great teaching brother! I had a thought as I listened to the teaching. In Mark 10:18 Jesus says “ why do you call me good“. Perhaps his response is an Indication… that at the time of his ministry, he was being an example for his disciples. GOODNESS is an attribute only unique to YHW. It would make sense that Jesus the rabbi would use this moment to direct the glory as you mentioned in your teaching to the Lord God so that the hearers would understand the preeminence as well as the standard that the Pharisees have missed for so long. They were no longer kind. And thus the people were suffering due to the lack of kindness that was a staple in the community. Only God is good. Praise the Lord!

Truly a great reminder to check myself - do I tremble at His Word? Or do I trivialize it by not letting it affect me as I should considering the account to be given and the joy & peace that is waiting for me? Lord please help me to remember this 🙏🏻

Great sermon ! Good to hear a preacher speak the truth of what God says about the abortion issue . Silence Isn’t silence …it’s speaks loud and clear. may God bless you. Every church needs to speak out…the German church was silent while 6 million Jews and many others were murdered . Bonhoeffer stood up and He is an example we must learn from. Thank you.
