It's time for an update. I'm sitting here with a group from my church. They brought some lunch and now they are bowling on our Wii. I can't do the bowling without doing the whole walkthrough, so I sit this one out.

A couple people came to visit from work this past Friday. I received a nice care basket full of goodies. It was very thoughtful of them. One of the items was a large book full of Sudoku puzzles. I did not realize how addicting these puzzles are. I have gone through 55 puzzles already. I can't seem to put the book down. There is something very satisfying about filling all of the squares and checking to see if they are right. Once I finish a puzzle, I am curious about the next one and I can't stop in the middle of the puzzle for fear the I will lose my train of thougbt. This goes on and on even though I am exhausted from lack of sleep. Gene has been trying to distract me with on-demand movies and Wii games. He has to force me to get some sleep each night when he notices the dark circles and bags under my eyes. Needless to say, I have fallen behind on my studies. Technically, I have 6 months to get the education modules done, but I want to get as many done before the baby comes....cuz, you know...

Overall, I am doing okay. From what I can tell things have stabilized. I will see my doctor this Thursday to confirm this. I will be just shy of 32 weeks in my pregnancy. My doctor was hoping that I would make it to this point, since the baby will be less likely to have complications if she is born after this point. We are very grateful that my uterus has cooperated so far.

I had been going to the hospital at least once a week, but now my doctor's appointments are coming every two weeks. Last week was the first week that I didn't have an appointment and I was getting a little case of cabin fever. I was feeling kind of down from being cooped up. While Gene was on the phone one day, I went out to the garage and sat in one of the cars. He paniced a little because he didn't know where I was, but he knew I couldn't go far. I didn't make him search too long. We made plans to go somewhere during the weekend (like just for a little drive or possibly to a drive-in movie theater), but the Sudoku book took my mind off of wanting to get out of the house. I guess I can wait until my next doctor's appointment to leave the house.

I have more that I wanted to write, but due to lack of sleep, I am not motivated to do so. :) Plus, I have Sudoku puzzles with my name on them.

Thanks to all of our friends and family who have been so supportive.
