JeremiYah 10 1 Hear all of you the word which YahVah speaks unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus says YahVah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must essentially be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
1 Kings 14:22-24 And Judah did evil in the sight of YahVah, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done. 23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree. 24 And there were also Sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which YahVah cast out before the children of Israel.
2 Kings 16:2-4 Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of YahVah his Mighty One, like David his father. 3 But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom YahVah cast out from before the children of Israel. 4 And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
2 Kings 17:32 So they feared YaHVaH, AND made unto themselves of the low of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. 33 They feared YaHVaH, AND served their own elohim, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. 34 Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not YaHVaH, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which YaHVaH commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; 35 With whom YaHVaH had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, All of you shall not fear other elohim, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 But YahVah, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, Him shall all of you fear, and Him shall all of you worship, and to Him shall all of you do sacrifice. 37 And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which He wrote for you, all of you shall observe to do for evermore; and all of you shall not fear their elohim. 38 And the covenant that I have made with you all of you shall not forget; neither shall all of you fear their elohim. 39 But YahVah your Sovereign all of you shall fear; and He shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. 40 Nevertheless they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner. 41 So these nations feared YahVah, AND served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
Ezekiyl 11:12 And all of you shall know that I am YahVah: for all of you have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
Deuteronomy 12:2 These are the statutes and judgments, which all of you shall observe to do in the land, which YahVah Mighty One of your fathers gives you to possess it, all the days that all of you live upon the earth. 2 All of you shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which all of you shall possess served their Mighty Ones, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: 3 And all of you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and all of you shall hew down the graven images of their Mighty Ones, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 4 All of you shall not do so unto YahVah your Mighty One.
1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know all of you not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, says he, shall be one flesh.
YaHVaH is One, praise only Him. Bring not vain oblatians and pagan customs into the assembly. We ought to find the meaning of our popular holiday words: Christ, Mass, Easter and then grow in Messiah as He bestows His blessings by His Spirit.
