Hello again and welcome to the program. We're here with a little strength for today. The Bible talks about times, seasons, days, and hours. In the book of Acts, we have a transitional period between two periods of time. For example, Acts 1-7, Jesus said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father has put in his own power. That's Acts chapter seven. But by the time the local churches were underway, we read in 1 Thessalonians 5, verses 1 and 2, But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord shall cometh as a thief in the night. Now we know that Jesus said in Matthew 24, 36, But of the day and the hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. That is in Matthew 24. So we see the changes here considering time, season, days, and hours. In Matthew 24, 32, we read now, learn a parable of the fig tree. When the branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door. And the things he was talking about are the things you're hearing on the news every day today. We need to prepare for the future. To prepare is to get ready and able to deal with something. In Romans 13, 12, we read, The night is far spent, The day is at hand. Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. The hymn writer has said, I don't know about tomorrow. I just live from day to day. I don't borrow from its sunshine, for its skies may turn to gray. I don't worry or the future, for I know what Jesus said. And today I'll walk beside him, for he knows what lies ahead. Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand, But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand. I don't know about tomorrow, it may bring me poverty, But the one who feeds the sparrow is the one who stands by me. And the path that be my portion may be through the flame or flood, But his presence goes before me, and I'm covered with his blood. Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand, But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds now.
