Encouragement

In Acts Chapter 4 we meet a man called Barnabas. Barnabas is mentioned by name 28 times in the New Testament.

The first time we meet Barnabas in the Bible is in Acts 4.

Barnabas's real name was Joses. The apostles recognized that this man had such a ministry of encouragement that they nicknamed him Barnabas which means Son of Encouragement.

I think a Barnabas ministry is possible for any believer, we can all be encourages.

Actually the Bible indicates that we all are to build each other up.

What a blessing a ministry of encouragement is.

Not only was he known for his encouragement, Barnabas was also known for his generosity.
