And fast. There is love in the rain When the harvest shall come No more clouds in the sky No more tears to dim the eye All is peace forevermore On that happy golden shore On a day, glorious day, that will be What a day that will be When my Jesus I shall see And I look upon His face The one who saved me by His grace When He takes me by the hand And leads me to the promised land What a day, glorious day that will be There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there. And forever I will be with the one who died for me. What a day, glorious day that will be What a day that will be When my Jesus I shall see And I look upon His face The one who saved me by His grace He takes me by the hand And leads me through the promised land What a day, glorious day that will be If you'd like to read with us tonight, we're going to read in Matthew chapter 11. We're going to start reading with verse 28. The great invitation extended unto all. The great invitation extended unto all. Didn't leave anybody out. Jesus Christ preaching to a large crowd of people here this day and while He was here on this earth. Let's listen to the reading for just a moment. Say with the pastor glad and thankful for everyone here. May not know who's visitors and who's not. We're thankful for everyone that's here. Matthew 11, verse 28, "...Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." You think about this great invitation that Jesus Christ gives here today. I'd like to deal with the latter part for just a few moments, that after a person's saved, and that's the invitation he gives, coming him all that labor and heavy laden, he'd give them rest. That's something God gives. That's God's gift, to give to a person that's burdened down with sin. needing some help, and God will give that rest to them if they'll come to Him and believe. But it goes on, and I'd like to just say this before going to that. He said, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls. You think about taking the yoke of the Lord upon you. What He's telling us to do is to become part of the body of Christ, become part of the church. That's the first step in obedience to follow the Lord after a person is saved, to be baptized and added to the church. And it's very important that we do that. And that's the way God fixed it. It's not the way Brother McGee fixed it, or some other minister fixed it. That's the way God fixed it. This is His Word, and I've been called to preach His Word, just like you pastors here have been called to preach His Word. if it wasn't His Word, I wouldn't even be called a preacher if it wasn't for God and His precious Word and His calling and His church. But I thought about, I said, take my yoke upon you and learn of me. And what He's wanting us to do is just learn of Him and follow Him. And He said, there is a found rest that we can find by getting knowledge of our Lord and Savior, by being obedient to Him, and being part of the body of Christ and getting knowledge of Him, that's a very competent thing, and getting knowledge from the Bible. It explains a lot of things. It shows a lot of things. Matter of fact, we wouldn't know what's out in the future if it wasn't for the Bible. We wouldn't know what would be tomorrow or any other day. We wouldn't even know about the past if it wasn't for the Bible. But I'm glad and thankful we've got the Bible. God's Word. But that's God's way. And He said to be different than that, it'd be like this. I'd like to use this Scripture here in Matthew chapter 5 and verse 14. I mentioned the first part of this this morning. The Scripture. He said, You are the light of the world. He's talking about His church. You are the light of the world. And he wants us to know that. And he said, you light the world. And he wants us to spread that gospel and show men and women, boys and girls, the need of Christ, the light of the world. He said, neither the men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but they put it on the candlestick that may give light in all the house. He went on, he said, "...let your light shine therefore that men may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." You think about letting your light shine, putting it on the candlestick, Revelation chapter 1 on down in the chapter, it tells about the seven stars, which are the seven angels, or seven messengers, of the seven churches there. And he said there were seven golden candlesticks. And he said that was the churches. So that just lets us know what the candlestick is and when a candle is lit, when a person is saved. That's God's will for men, women, boys and girls to do that. And it would be very uncommon for us not to do that. It would be as much uncommon as to Be in a dark room somewhere, the electricity goes out, you got a candle there, and got a candle holder, it would be very unusual to light that candle and put a bushel over it, you standing there in the dark. That would be very uncommon. He said it would be just that uncommon for a person to be saved, not put his candle on the candlestick. when He, you know, give an eternal life. He said, You put it on the candlestick that may give light to all in the house. There's a lot of teachings about that. We don't want to go into that. But just think about how important it is for people to be saved and follow the Lord and scriptural baptism, yoke up with Him. And I thought about this great invitation that Jesus Christ stood here that day and give it to people while He was here on earth. He was in the body of the former. I can just picture Him with His arms held out and just just pleading with people. If you are burdened down with sin, that is what it is, and you are laboring and struggling under the load of sin, all you that are burdened, heavy laden, just come unto Me and I will give you rest. And that same invitation is being extended today. It has been extended by God's people. It has been extended by the Word of God for years and years and years. Jesus Christ is not here in person today, but He's here in Spirit. He gave me this message, and all I can do is try to deliver it. And I think about the Messengers of God. I go in 1 Corinthians. The Bible lets us know in there in chapter 3 of 1 Corinthians. It tells about the apostle Paul. Apollos. And there was some discrepancy. There was a little division over these ministers. Both of them was good ministers. But there was some people wanting Paul and some Apollos there. Both was good ministers. It wasn't one that was pretty good or no good and one that was real good. Both of them was good ministers, able ministers of God that was seeking God's will and in the center of His will doing what God told them to do. But the Apostle Paul pleaded with Saint Siric Corinth and he said, who then is Paul? Who is an apostle? Ministers by whom you have believed." He said, even the Lord has given to every man. He gives every man a minister to be a blessing to them, to preach the Word. They heard the Gospel somewhere, and that's what He is saying, and that's what He is getting over this church. You heard men preach the Word. And He was just letting them know, who are we? Men apostles, just who are we? He went on and said, the apostle Paul said, I planted and the apostles watered. And he went on and made a statement, but God giveth increase. So then, neither is he that planteth or he that watereth is anything but God who giveth increase. That's who we need to look to. That's who we need to remember. I thank God for good ministers and ministers of God, preachers. and follow the Lord and study and read and be led by the Holy Spirit to preach God's Word. But when it comes down, really and truly, we're just nothing. We're messengers. We're servants. And that's all God's calling us to do. We all know it's going to take God to give the increase. It'll take God to lead and guide the minister. It'll take God to give him His message. It'll take God to strengthen him and give him the grace to get over that message or he'll be a total failure. So really and truly, I am nothing. No minister is nothing. None of us is nothing and can't do anything without the Lord. And that's what the Apollos was trying to get over. He wanted his Lord exalted and lifted up. above everything else. That's who He wanted men to see because that's who He knew that would bless them and say their precious souls give them eternal life. And that's who He wanted them to see. And you think about, you know, the ministers of the Lord and we look at that. Think about just working with the Lord and letting Him lead and guide and direct us. What He was doing, I think about what the Lord was doing here. He was just revealing His great love to a lost and dying world, to a lost man, woman, boy or girl who had been convicted of their sins. Yes, God did that. And He was revealing His love to them. You think about the conviction of sin. God just singled us out personally, didn't He? When He charged me with my sins, He singled me out. He come to me. I tell a lot of people, a lot of times, just a little farmer boy lived up on the bank of Lawrence's Creek on a dead end road. Didn't know nobody, hardly ever went anywhere, but the Lord come back there personally. A church right out the end of our road, about a half a mile, and you went out the road to get to the blacktop. Well, it wasn't always blacktop, but you could look down to the right, and there was an old landmark missionary Baptist church, Lawrence's Creek. And I tell people, one of the first ministers I ever remember was that brother, Elmer Scarbor. And when that man preached, you can be assured of one thing, the Lord was with him. And he was a good minister and he was a blessing to me. God started dealing with me under that man's ministry, his preaching, when I was a young boy. And I thought about what happened when God revealed to me that day that I was a sinner, that I was cut off from God. If I died or if the Lord come back, I wouldn't be going to heaven. And I sure didn't like that. I sure didn't like that idea. And the worst part of it was where I was going, I wasn't going to go to heaven. And where I was going to the place called hell, well, you think about what that is. That was just God revealing His love to me personally, letting me know, you are a sinner. You need my love. You need my mercy. You need my salvation. And God is coming to me and convicting me and letting me enlightening my eyes and my heart that you are a sinner and if you die in this condition, you will go to the place called hell." And when he'd done that, I'm glad and thankful he just didn't stop there. Holy Spirit conviction. I thought about the psalmist David and he explained it in a couple of different places there in the Bible and I can relate to it and I'm sure everyone here saved can. Holy Spirit conviction. The psalmist David said over in Psalm chapter 4 and verse 2, He said it was in a horrible pit in Amari clay. Not just a pit now, a horrible pit. You think of being in bondage to sin. You think about being separated from God. You think about closing your eyes in death and lifting them in flames of fire in a place called hell. That is not a good idea. David said he found himself in a horrible pit under Holy Spirit conviction. The Lord dealing with him, He put him there. And he said in that horrible pit, in that mori clay, you just think about that, that was a pit that he couldn't get out of. And you think about the mori sticky clay, no way he'd get out, no traction, nothing he could do. Just no way he could get out of that horrible pit. And there's only one way that you can see in the daylight, and that was up. Boy, that explained it mighty good, didn't it, to Psalmist David. Boy, that's where I found myself and you too, in that horrible pit of sin, bound and shackled by sin, no way out, no help, nobody, mom and dad couldn't deliver me, grandpa, grandma couldn't deliver me, brothers and sisters couldn't deliver me. I was there. There was only one way I could look for any help, and that was up, and the Psalmist David said he called out that horrible pit. And he said the Lord brought him up out of that horrible pit. I thank God for that. What he was doing, the Bible lets us know, that the Lord just, well, he had given him an invitation. He called on the Lord and he accepted that invitation. He just didn't put him in that horrible pit and forget about him. He revealed to him that I love you. You don't have to remain there. It's your choice what you do. I can deliver you. I can bring you up. The psalmist David had heard the Word of God, and no doubt he had been raised in a good family that knew the Lord and taught the things of the Lord. So he knew, and he knew who was dealing with him. He also explained it over in Psalms 116 and verse 3. He said, "...the sorrows of death come past him about. The pains of hell got hold upon him. He found trouble and sorrow." He didn't see hell, he didn't go to hell, but God made it real. He could see himself, he could think about himself in that place. He said, the stars of death come past me. What he was saying, you just think about in our lifetime. You look over here. somebody passes away. You look over there, somebody else dies. You look back here, somebody else died over here. Everywhere we look, we come past with the sorrows of death, because people are going to leave this world. It's a point when a man wants to die. A man born of a woman is a few days in full of trouble, so we see that that's all around us. That's what he saw. And not just only was he surrounded by the sorrows of death, but the pains of hell got hold upon him. He knew one thing, if I leave this world, that's where I'm going, and I don't want to go that way. He cried out to the Lord, and he said, Gracious is the Lord. Go down in verse 8. He said, He delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. He delivered my soul. That's the inner man. That's the real person that lives in this old body. And he said, He delivered my soul. that burden. I'm not carrying that load anymore. I'm not struggling and laboring under that. I let the Lord help me. I called on the name of the Lord and He was very gracious to me. He brought me up out of that horrible pit. He helped me with the sorrows of death and the pains of hell. I've been set free from those things. I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ who paid that sin debt for me. I accepted the invitation that God extended to me. I'm going to glory now. I thought about that in Matthew 7, verse 13. It tells us there, it said, "...straight's the gate, and narrow the way that leadeth to life, and few there be that find it." He said, "...wide's the gate, and broad the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be going in there at." They hunting other ways, different means. They looking for different ways they can get to heaven. There's not but one way. You're on the wide, broad way, or you're on the straight and narrow. One leads to heaven, the other leads to hell. And the Lord, the psalmist David, and other people could also say, He took me off that road to destruction. He put me on the road to glory. And that is where I am going to stay. I am never going to fall back into condemnation. I am never going to be lost again. When God saves, He said He will give eternal life. I will never fall back into condemnation. Thanks be unto God. He keeps it. He's sealed, but we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption. So I don't keep it. I didn't save myself. I don't keep it. I hadn't trusted some man with it. I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ. And when God saved me, when I trusted Him, He sealed that soul. And you know, nothing can get in, nothing can get out. My soul is as perfect as it's ever going to be. because it's sinless. It don't sin anymore, but it's been washed in the blood. My sin's been washed away. It's been covered in the Lord's blood, the Lord Jesus Christ. Just thanks be unto God. So when we think about that, that invitation that God's given, He's given it many, many times. I look in the Scriptures in Romans chapter 1. He tells again about this great invitation. It's a very simple message for those that be lost. It was so simple, I missed it for a while. I tried other things. It did not work. But the day that I trusted Jesus, I didn't have to try anymore. I didn't have to try to begin with if I trusted Jesus. All my trying didn't work. All my struggling didn't work. All my ideals and all my thoughts didn't work. But when I listened to God that Monday morning, right over on Highway 11 here, not too far from here, I trusted Jesus Christ. I've been saved. The burden's been lifted. I haven't carried that load anymore, and thank God I never will, because Jesus Christ has got it. Thanks be unto God for what He gives. But in Romans, the Bible tells us about God's righteousness. Go down in verse 8. Apostle Paul said, My heart's desire and prayer to God is for Israel, that they might be saved. That's what he started off with in verse 1. He goes on down and tells about God's righteousness. They didn't accept God's righteousness. They thought they could work their way to heaven. They thought there's Abraham's seed. They thought they could keep the law, but that won't work. He went on down and he made a statement in verse 8. He said, talking about the Scriptures, for what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy heart and in thy mouth. That Word which we preach. He said, if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And he said, whosoever believeth shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. The same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Call in faith, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing else, nothing less, nothing more. Just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on whom they have not believed? How are they going to call on whom they have not believed? How are they going to believe on whom they have not heard? And how are they going to hear without a preacher? And how is he going to preach except he be sent? God sent him. Where did He send him from? From the church. That's where He sent from. That's where I've been sent. That's who gave me the charge. That's who sent me out. I know it's all God's calling, but He called me through the church. A born again saved person and yoked up with the Lord through baptism in the body of Christ, trying to serve Him, trying to live for Him, trying to learn things about Him. And now He's called me to preach." And he said, that's the way God chose for people to hear the Gospel. And he said, when they hear that Gospel, all they've got to do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Whosoever shall call shall be saved. That is simple. Just believe on the Lord Jesus. You know these Scriptures in the Bible, we could go through just many of them, but he just let us know there's a lot of Scriptures in the Bible. I thought about going over in Luke 23. Closing out that one down towards the end of the chapter there, it tells us down about verse 42 and 43. Jesus Christ, when He was crucified, and a lot of religions don't like these Scriptures. When Jesus Christ was crucified, there were two thieves crucified with Him. One on the right and one on the left. You know how it was when they first went up there to be crucified? Both of them were saying, if you be who you say you are, get off of that cross and save yourself and save us. Well, on over in the day, a lot of things that went on. There's one of those thieves began to rebuke the Lord again. Oh, if you's who you say you are. That's what He's telling the Lord. If you who you say you are, get off that cross and save yourselves and save us. That other thief just spoke up and He just let him know. He said, What do you think, my own word, what do you think we're doing? He said, we're here justly, but this man has done nothing amiss. He's not here dying for some crime or some great sin he done. He hadn't stole anything. He hadn't murdered anything. He hadn't broke the law in any way. This is an innocent man. I believe that thief recognized who he was, don't you? I believe he recognized he was the Son of God or he wouldn't have called on him like he did. And that thief, what do you have to do? You have to understand the plan of salvation. You don't have to understand it. All you've got to do is believe it. I can't understand it to begin with. I don't even understand God. Can you understand God? You know, you think about us human beings. We've got some smart ones in this world, but you've got to have a place to start. You've got to have a place you can finish. God had no start and no end. So you can't figure out God, so don't try to figure out His plan. But He made one for all men, so nobody would have an excuse. He made a very simple plan, God did. And this thief just hears not what you say, it's what you believe in your heart. And that thief said, Lord, remember me when I come into Thy kingdom. He recognized that this man hanging here by me is the sinless Son of God. He would have never asked Him to remember Him if He didn't believe in an eternity. If He didn't believe the Lord Jesus Christ could save Him, He would have never asked Him that. He said, Lord, remember me when I come into Thy kingdom. And the Lord said, you know, a lot of people in salvation you may doubt, but you don't have to doubt this. And the Lord said, today shall thou be with me in paradise. Today. Now that thief, he never did any good works. He never was baptized, and that's all important in its place, but He never did any of that. You've got religion that preaches you've got to be baptized. You've got to repent and believe and be baptized. You've got people that tell you if you don't do good works, you're going to be lost. That's not in the Bible. That's not in God's Word. That's not in the Holy Bible. This man here did not do any of that. He trusted the Lord Jesus Christ. So just cut all the strings and loose. It is going to be up to you if you are here lost to believe the simple plan of God, Jesus Christ hanging on the cross. You have got to believe that. He died for you and He was buried and God raised Him from the dead. If you will believe that, God said He had saved your soul. Now what is complicated, what is hard, I am glad God made a simple plan. If He had not, I would not have been saved because I was not a smart person. I didn't put any effort much in school there. I tell people all the time it hadn't been for me sharing in sports, I probably never would have finished school. Her and I went together about five years, and most of it was in school before we got married. So I just think about those things. The Lord was good and merciful to me, and I thank God for it. Wasn't real smart, but He got a plan. I didn't have to understand. All I had to do was believe it. And if you're here tonight, if you lost, everybody that's saved, that's all you did to get saved. All you did was believe the record that God gave of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why you're here. That's why you're cleansed from your sins. That's why you're going to glory. But you know, I think about that invitation that's going to end one day. I think about Isaiah 55, verses 6 and 7. The Lord made a statement to the great man Isaiah. He said, Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he's near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts in return of the Lord, for he will have mercy. And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." You think about that, abundantly pardon. That just simply means you'll be free from all the things, all the sin that you've ever done, you're free from it. As far as the East is from the West, you're clean from it. It will never be brought up by God again. You know a lot of times, deal with people and you may make apologize to them and may do something and you apologize to it and about the first thing you know something comes up and they bring that back up. God will never bring it back up. He never will. It's put in his eternity of forgetfulness. He pardons. He will abundantly pardon. You think about a prisoner locked up in prison. Maybe the governor, maybe some evidence comes and they find out that he's not guilty or his term is shortened with good behavior or something. So they pardon that man. If he don't accept it, he's not going to be pardoned, is he? He can stay in prison if he wants to. Well, God says it's up to a sinner whether he accepts that abundantly pardon or not. If you want it, God offers it. Seek him while he may be found. Call upon him while he's near. It may not be that way. While He may be found, you know, you think about why He may be found, it may be too late. You depart this life, that invitation is not going to be extended anymore. Invitations from Almighty God through the Lord Jesus Christ is going to end. There are two places it will end. Either people is going to die, and you can believe one thing, that a lot of people had their last invitation today. They may have heard the Word somewhere. The Lord may have dealt with them. But if they died today, they would not get another invitation. There is no invitation after death for salvation. Nowhere in the Bible. And not just that, you think about when Jesus comes back. That's going to end that invitation. They say He's going to be called away. Those that's lost are going to remain and suffer the wrath of God. I know He's going to deal with Israel again. But the church age will be over. And you just stop and consider that the last invitation. When could that happen? Well, my Bible tells us it happens when God gets ready for it to happen. The Scriptures tell us in Matthew 24, 36, that no man knows the day or the hour. No, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only. So if no man don't know it, they don't need to argue about it, say this has got to happen, that's got to happen. It'll happen when God says it's enough and when He sends Jesus back. God's got the date set. He's got the plan finished. He's got the end in view. That time is set. But before it gets here, that invitation is being sent out. It may be the last one today for someone here. I hope and pray not. I pray that you'd trust Jesus Christ tonight if you don't know Him. But there is the last invitation. There's one in the Bible. The Scriptures tell us there in Revelation 22, known as the last invitation in the Holy Bible, God's Word. In verse 17 of chapter 22, it said, The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. Who's the Spirit? The Holy Spirit of God. The One that takes the Word to people's hearts. The One that convicts them. The One that draws in Jesus Christ. The One that helps them see their need of a Savior. Let them know they're undone and lost. And that burden down of that sin, He's waiting on you to call. He's going to relieve that burden. He's waiting for your call. But He said, "...the Spirit and the Bride say, Come." Who's the Bride? The Church. The Spirit, the Bride of Christ, is the Church. "...And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that thirsts say, Come. And whosoever will, let him come and take the water of life freely." If you had the power to give eternal life, You put up a sign out here by the road. And people could know that you could give it. You'd give it before. And you offer that invitation free. Reckon how many people would be in line out there? Reckon you could get through this highway out here? Reckon people could get through to the airport? Probably wouldn't be nobody worried about the airport. If I can get eternal life, I'll give every penny I got. And God offers us a gift. It's already paid for. It's up to you to accept the invitation. I think about in the Scriptures, other simple times, I think about Zacchaeus up the sycamore tree. He desired to see Jesus. Anybody here desire to see Jesus tonight? Do you want Jesus? Do you want to be free from the bondage of sin? Do you want that burden lifted? Do you want peace with God? Do you want eternal life? Ozacchus wanted to see Jesus one day. He couldn't see Him for the crowd. There's always something to hinder. The devil's going to see that. But Ozacchus knew there was a sycamore tree down the road there. And he said, if I can get up in that sycamore tree, I'm going to get above all those other people. I'm not going to let them hinder me from seeing Jesus today. He desired to see Jesus. And he put forth some effort to see Jesus Christ. And you know the good thing about it? Jesus done been working with the man. He wouldn't want to see him if he hadn't. He'd done heard about him. And when Jesus got to that sycamore tree, He just stopped. And He looked up in the sycamore tree and He called Zacchaeus by name. I can just imagine how His heart must have fluttered. This man knows me. He knows why I'm up here too. And the great thing about it, Ozacchius was given an invitation. The Lord did not shake him out of that tree. He did not cut the tree down. He said, Ozacchius, make haste and come down for the day I must abide at thy house. And the Scripture said, Ozacchius, listen to him, he came down and received the Lord joyfully. He trusted Jesus Christ in his heart. He received Him joyfully and he went home. And if you're hearing loss tonight, that's what the Lord wants to do for you. He wants to go home with you. He'll abide with you forever. He will never leave or forsake you. He'll give you eternal life. There are a lot of benefits in trusting Jesus Christ, but you've got to trust Him to get them. And He wants you to trust Him tonight. He wouldn't be bothering you if He didn't love you. If you're lost tonight and you know it, it's not some man that told you that or convinced you of that. That's God. That's the great Holy Spirit of God. That's God personally dealing with you. Revealing how much He loves you. He so loved you that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Would you trust Him? If you lost tonight, would you trust Him? Us that say, isn't it wonderful, we can go back and be reminded how great and how wonderful, and we didn't have to do anything but believe. It wouldn't be a gift if we could have worked for it, would it? God said it's His gift to our lost and dying, and extended invitation to us to come to get it. Thanks be unto God for the wonderful, great invitation. So do like Zacchaeus if you're here, and the psalmist David. Let God take care of you. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ. Let Him bring you up out of that horrible pit, out of that maury clay. Let Him deliver you from the sorrows of death and the pains of hell. He's wanting to set you free from that. Will you let Him? It's up to you. You'll be the one that makes the choice if you're lost. You'll make a choice to remain lost or you'll make the choice to trust Jesus Christ. Not the preacher, the Lord Jesus Christ. Like I said, I'm nothing, just a messenger, just a servant of Almighty God. It takes God to save. If you'll trust Him, He'll save you tonight. And He'll go home with you tonight. You can sleep in peace tonight. You can have a good night's sleep. You won't get up in the morning and be worried about hell if you die in your sleep, or when you get up tomorrow, you won't be worried about dying and lifting your eyes in hell. God troubles you, so you'll see your need, so He can save your soul. May God bless what we've seen. If you have a burden of prayer request something on your heart, you've been saved. We'd sure like to know that. If you've been saved, they're rejoicing in your heart. If you trusted Jesus Christ, my Bible tells me they are rejoicing. Rejoicing happened in heaven among the angels of God. We'd like to rejoice with you if you've been saved. If you're not saved, you can be saved. It's just one breath, one heartbeat away. Just one call by faith. God will save you while we sing. On the first. Oh, dear Lord, let the morning come, and close my eyes and think some time. Oh, sinner, hard at night you have come. Be safe, oh, tonight. Oh, why not tonight? Oh, why not tonight? Oh, why not tonight? Oh, why not tonight? Will thou be safe? Will thou be safe? If I ought to cry not tonight? Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day. Thank you for your great love and your mercy. Thank you for Jesus Christ. Lord, I am sorry he had to suffer so much to pay my sin debt, someone that didn't deserve it. But I am so thankful from the depths of my heart. You're the only reason that I'm here tonight. You're the only reason I'm saved. You're the only reason I've been called to spread this gospel, to let people know what I've experienced and try to help them to see the need to trust Jesus Christ. We thank You for it, Lord. Thank You for Your church. Thank You for Your people. We even thank You for these lost people. If they'd be in here, that they could hear that Gospel, because we know that's what it's going to take to touch their heart and save them. It'll take You to do it through the great Holy Spirit. We can't. If we could, they wouldn't be lost. But we know we can't do that. We couldn't even save ourselves. And we just thank You so much for Your Gospel and so much for impetutions that You invite sinners to come to you. I thought about myself. What an awful sinner. What a nobody I was to receive the great invitation from heaven to trust your darling son and for him to pay that terrible sin debt that I owe. Lord, I thank you for it. Pray that I could serve you and love you like I need to and pray that I could follow the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that you'd use us, your ministers, Brother Brandon, here where I pastor, every time I get an opportunity to preach, to lift this precious Savior up to a lost and dying world. For it's in the sweet name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Certainly thankful for the good message. The song we sang said, Why Not Tonight? That's a wonderful question, isn't it? What's hindering, what's stopping? No, this much, it's not God. God's made every preparation to save whosoever will turn by faith and believe in Him. The only thing stopping is whether people will believe or not. That's the only thing. Paul made this statement, he said, I am fully persuaded that He's able to keep that which I committed unto Him against that day. And I'm thankful that we can have full confidence in what God's given us through Jesus Christ. Certainly appreciate the message. I wonder if there's any word or announcement for...
