But it's one message. It appears He gave it at one time. Just continue talking. Never sit up. Never stop. And gave the entire message. Amen. And he covered the life of Israel from Egypt until this moment when they were about to go into the promised land. And he reassures them that God's promises are real and God will keep all of his promises. But he also warns them that they have a responsibility to serve God and to do right and to be right with the Lord. In this chapter, it's a little bit unusual. It's somewhat of an unusual chapter, and I feel like we might need to read the whole chapter just to draw the setting of the chapter. In this chapter, he lets them know that specifically he's speaking to those who are the oldest in this group. He's speaking to those who were able to remember back to the earliest part and knew several things. And so you'll recognize as we go through. And so both ends of the spectrum are seen on this chapter. So let's start, I tell you, let's pray first and then we'll start in verse number one and read through, Lord willing, probably the whole chapter. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, we bow before you again this evening. Lord, recognize that I am nothing and you are everything. Without you, we can do nothing. But Lord, by the grace of God, thank God, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And Lord, we know that we are helpless in trying to do something eternal. spiritual, or something, Lord, that would be divine. But I'm glad tonight, Lord, there's not one thing that you cannot do. You can do all things, and you do all things well. So we trust you tonight. I trust you, Lord, to give me the strength to bring the message, and Lord, that my mind and understanding will be clear enough to bring your word. We thank you, Lord, for the things you do for us daily, and Lord, especially, Lord, that you saved us and gave us eternal life. Help me tonight, help us tonight as a church, and we'll thank you for it in Jesus' name, amen. Verse number one, chapter number 11. Therefore there thou shalt love the Lord thy God and keep his charge and his statutes and his judgments and his commandments always. I want to point out that through this book, he will bring that up a number of times. And know you this day for I speak not with your children. which have not known and which have not seen the chastisement of the Lord your God his greatness his mighty hand and his stretched out arm and his miracles and his acts which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh king of Egypt and unto all his land again pointing out that he's drawing attention to those who have been there from the beginning And that of course would be the young ones that started off because those 20 years old and older died in the wilderness, amen. He says, and what he did under the army of Egypt, under their horses and their chariots, I made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them that them as they pursued after you and how the Lord hath destroyed them unto this day and what he did unto you in the wilderness until you came unto this place and what he did unto Dathan and Abiram and the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, how the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession in the midst of all Israel. But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the Lord which he did. Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, You may be strong and go in and possess the land whether you go to possess it And that you may prolong your days in the land which the lord swear unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed A land that floweth with milk and honey for the land whether thou goest in to possess it Is not as the land of egypt from whence ye came out, where thou sowest thy seed and waterest it with thy foot as a garden of herbs. But the land whether ye go to, possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven, a land which the Lord thy God careth for. The eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year." That's a notable statement. God loves the land of Israel. He looks at it. He thinks about it. And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments, which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God. and to serve him with all of your heart and with all of your soul, that I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn and thy wine and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, and thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn not aside, and serve other gods, and worship them. And then the Lord's wrath be kindled against you. And he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit, unless ye perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you. Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them your children, And speaking of them, when thou settest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up, thou shall write them upon the doorpost of thine house, and upon thy gates, that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, and the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. What a statement. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways and to cleave unto him. Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even under the uttermost sea. shall your coast be. Thou shall no man be able to stand before you, for the Lord your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land. that ye shall tread upon, as he has said unto you. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse. A blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day, and a curse if you will not obey the commandment of the Lord your God. But turn aside out of the way, which I command you this day, to go after other gods which you have not known, And it shall come to pass when the Lord thy God has brought thee in into the land, where thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon Mount Gizrom and the curse upon Mount Ebal. Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way, where the sun goeth down in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the Champagne over against Gilgal beside the plains of Morah? For ye shall pass over Jordan to go to possess the land which the Lord your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it and dwell therein and ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day." What a tremendous chapter in the Word of God. Statements made in this chapter that's not found anywhere else. Thank God for His Word. Amen. I want to draw attention a little, first of all, to the fact, he says, I'm not writing or I'm not speaking to your children. I'm speaking to those who know, he said. Speaking to those who have saw and seen and know. He said, I want you to teach your children these things, but I'm speaking to you because you do know and you have seen, amen. And then in verse number seven, he says again, your eyes have seen all the great acts of the Lord, which he did. It is important to know that God wants us to remember what we have seen. Amen. I want to preach tonight on don't forget what you've seen. I'm going to pray again. I feel like I should. And so let's pray and ask God to help us. Amen. There's some here tonight that have not seen all that you have seen. There's little ones that have never seen all that you've seen. But those who have saw, God's going to hold us each responsible. Amen. Let's pray and ask God to help us. Father, again, we approach your throne. I thank you for the privilege to pray. And Lord, I thank you that you said, Lord, we cast all our care upon you for you care for us. What a tremendous chapter to try to preach. So Lord, we can only just preach particles. But I pray, Lord, that you would touch my heart and give me clearness of mind for the message. And we'll thank you for it. Touch lives, touch hearts, touch our youth and help them. And we'll praise you for what you do. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Moses, the first thing brings up what they saw was the acts of God's chastisement. He did not bring up the miracles first. He did not bring up the things that God did as far as feeding them, clothing them. He did not bring up the fact that he brought water out of the rock. He did not bring up the fact that he made the sun to be shaded in the day over them by the cloud and he made the light to light them by the day. He did not bring up that he gave them manna. A number of things he did not bring up. But he said, I want you to know, he said, you saw, verse number two, he said, and know ye this day what I speak, for I speak not with your children which have not known and which have not seen the chastisement of the Lord. And then he begins to bring up people's names, and individuals, and things that they done, and things that happened, and what God did to deal with them, amen? Well, on our first bring up tonight, don't forget what you've seen in chastisement. God wants us to know and God wants us to understand that sin has never brought blessing, amen? He said, I want you to look back on all these people that disobeyed me, and I want you to think about how their life turned out. He even brought out those who the ground swallowed up. He brought out those whom he had to judge and things that happened, amen, the chastisement of God. And may I say tonight, Have you ever seen rebellion make things better? No, never does. Have you ever seen people leave the church and become better Christians? Never happens. Have you ever seen children rebel against their parents and it turned out better for them? Have you ever seen the things that God has told us not to do become better if we did do, amen? Have you ever seen rebellion against the man of God turn out to be good? Moses said, look at all these things. I want you to remember, number one, all the chastisements of God. I want you to remember Dathan, and Aber, and Eliab, and Reuben, and all those, the things that happened in their life, and what took place, and what turned out, and how it ended up for them, and I want you to remember that, and that is the first thing God told Moses to remind them of. When you go into this land, a land that is filled with milk and honey, a land that will be fruitful, a land that will have gardens to reap from and your cattle will be blessed and food to eat and things to have, I want you to remember the chastisement of God. Quite amazing, there's not another chapter like it. This is the first thing he brings up when he's giving them instruction to enter the great land that God's gonna give them, the promises God's gonna keep and all the things that God's gonna do. He said, I want you to remember things that happened to people that disobeyed God. He said, I want you to remember things that happened to individuals who rebelled against the man of God, Moses. I want you to remember what happened in situation when people stood up against God and the things of God and what happened in their life. how it turned out for them, what happened and what took place in their life. Have you ever seen evil be good? It's not ever good. Amen. As we go through our lives and we're older, there's things we have seen. There's young people sitting here. There's young couples sitting here. There's folks just starting to raise a family already. They're sitting in the building. Some thinking about one day maybe having a home, having a marriage. They're young. They have not seen what all of us have seen. They do not know what we know. They have not seen people rebel and seen the fruit of it. There's folks that we cry in our sleep over at night because we watched them wreck their life and ruin their family. Bring harm to others, amen. We remember it. He said, I want you to remember you saw these things. You've seen what happened. You've seen people say, we're not going to go bad. We're just leaving the church. We're going somewhere else. We watched our life turn out into ruin and wreck and destruction and heartache and heartbreak, amen. Moses said, you remember, you saw all these things, you know all these things. He said, I want you to teach your children, but I want you to remember what you have saw and what you know. Amen. It looks like we would start on a positive note, but he didn't start on a positive note. If it could be said, some things are positive and some things are negative. He starts immediately. He said, you saw me deal with Egypt. You saw me deal with Pharaoh. You saw me deal with others. Amen. You watch those things. And he said, you know about every one of them. Amen. May I say to us tonight, how easy is it to forget and think things could be different, amen. But God says, sin never pays off well. Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, so shall he also reap. Sin has always produced a bad crop. Sin has always produced heartache. Sin has always produced heartbreak in people's lives. It has never brought good to people. It has never made children better. It has never made families better. It has never made marriages better. It has never made homes better. It has always been bad. He said, I want you to know that you can have heaven on earth. What a statement. You can have heaven upon the earth. You can have God's blessings upon the earth. You know the Bible says that we're to pray, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We're also to pray the Lord be with us this day and give us this day our daily bread. We're to ask God to have every part of our life, even the small part of just a slice of bread. We want God to be involved in that. He said, you that know and have seen. Verse number two again, and know ye this day, for I speak not with your children which have not known and which have not seen. He says, there's a group of people here that don't know everything you know, have not seen everything you've seen, do not know everything you know. But he said, you do. And then he says, you've seen in verse number seven, but your eyes have seen all the great acts which the Lord did. Not only did they see the chastisement and the difficulties and the problems and the rebellion and the heartache that it brought, but they also did see the things that God did not write down in these verses. You know, you don't have to normally, Brother Randall mentioned things tonight in the devotion. Amen. Just like that phone call. Nobody has to remind him of that. He remembers that. Amen. Nobody has to tell Brother Donald, you ever remember losing your keys? He'll never forget losing his keys. Crawling through the mud and sticking his hand down in the mud in the mines and there's his keys. Things that God does well, they'll never forget the water that came out of the rock. They'll never forget, they'll never forget the manna that fell down from heaven. They'll never forget that their shoes never did get small and never wore out. They'll never forget they couldn't outgrow their clothes and their clothes never wore out 40 years. And their clothes looked as good as the day they left with them, amen. But it's easy to forget what sin does. It's easy to forget what sin does. When Jesus was upon the earth, you know some of the things that they brought up? They brought up the manna. Our fathers did eat manna in the wilderness. Moses brought manna. They began to bring up all the things, the good things, the blessed things, the great things, amen. But they forgot that God deals with us when we do wrong. Moses emphasized, don't forget this. You've seen it all, you know it all, you know the truth. There's young people that don't know, but you know. Teach your children, show them what's right. Make sure you don't leave this out. Then he said, you saw the great miracles. You saw things God did. You saw the things that God did for his people. We're not living in the days of Moses. We're not walking through the wilderness, drinking out of a rock. We're not picking up man out outside on the ground. But I'm going to say tonight that all of us here that are older have seen a lot of things. We have the privilege to testify, to mention, and to bring them up, amen. And to say God is able, amen. We have seen God save people through preaching, amen. We have seen people that just busted down the aisle and fell on the altar, like Brother Ears Meadows did that night, and just gave his life to God immediately, and just faithfully served the Lord the rest of his life. We have seen that. I was praying in one of the services before the service started. A young girl that I'd picked up on the bus, I was driving the bus, I'd picked her up that morning, maybe six or seven years old, picked her up on the trailer park, up on Cook's trailer park, up on the mountain, and brought her to church and took her back. I seen her mother pulling out there, and I stepped out. The building wasn't like it is exactly now. Hadn't had all the changes. I stepped out there, and her mother was stone blind drunk. I mean, drunk as can be. She said, you forgot to pick up my daughter on the bus. I said, ma'am, I picked her up this morning. She said, this is morning. I said, no, ma'am, this is evening. It's the 7 o'clock. It's the 7 o'clock service. I said, I picked your little girl up this morning. I brought her back home. She was so drunk, she said, I thought it was morning. I said, why don't you come in the church? I told her, little girl, I said, you go in the church, because I didn't want to ride back home with that drunken mother. She said, I'm too drunk to come to church. I said, you're all right. I said, come on in. We'll welcome you in. She said, I'm not going in there. I said, well, I'll set a chair out in the hallway. You can sit in that chair. She was so drunk, she hardly could walk. I got her in and sat her in that chair right there. And I got down in front of her. And I prayed that God would make her sober, that she could get saved. While I was praying, she jumped out of the chair, ran out in her car, and took off in the automobile. Service started. I was sitting up here on the front. She come busting down that aisle just exactly like your daddy did. I got to that bridge down there. I was sober. That preacher prayed that I'd be sober and I'm sober. God sobered me. And she got saved. The older people that come out of Egypt saw things that younger folks never saw. For God's sake, let's don't let these young people think that God can't still do things. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all and above all that we can think or ask, amen. Testimonies again and again down through the years we've heard and watched God save lost souls. Just like the lady mentioned, the atheist lady who's working in an office of a saved businessman. God can do anything. If we're not careful, we leave with these youth. We leave them hanging in a limb of wondering what God can or cannot do. We have seen people saved through the gospel, amen. We've seen God's people be touched with the healing hand of God. We've seen God totally heal people completely. We saw Leanne, Patsy's daughter, she was born with those little joints that would be red and swollen, her knees, her elbows, her wrists and all that. She was born that way. And they'd take hot towels and put them on her knees and on her elbows, and she'd cry. And one day, Patsy Collins said, Leanne said she wanted y'all to come and pray for her, that God's gonna heal her. Wasn't that her faith? It was her faith. We went over that night in order to go and pray for her. She jumped up and ran all over the house. He said, I'm healed. God's healed me, amen. She's a mother today, a nurse today. She's never had another pain in her joints. We've seen things, Brother Dave. We need to testify about them. He said, you're going into a land of milk and honey. You saw God do things. Don't ever forget it. Tell your children what he's done. We've seen God raise up people. God has healed me a number of times. God's healed you, amen. God's healed others, amen. God has worked miracles, and God is a miracle-working God. God never wants us to forget. God never wants us to lose sight. He said, you saw these things, you know these things. Teach your children these things. Show them to your children. You saw what happens when people do wrong, but you saw how God can bless and how God can supply and how God can take care of. We need to put both focuses in the life of our young people. I remember growing up, many times, I would be told by my grandparents, you better not do that, God. I remember a boy done this or that. I remember somebody done this or that, and it's what God done. I tell you what, they put the fear of God in my heart. Even though I was mean as a snake, they still put the fear of God in my heart. But at the same time, we got to hear God touching this one and God touching that one. This person bleeding to death and God stopped the blood and this person going through this and God stepped in and healed them and took care of them. Amen. I'm telling you, there's people here that hasn't, there's young people here that hasn't laid in the hospital with a baby all night yet. Hasn't had to seek God and fast and pray and ask God for a miracle. But there's others here who have, and watch God work miracles, amen. He said, you saw it all. You saw everything. You know everything. Your children don't know everything. They were born in the wilderness, but you saw it all. Make sure you tell your children. Make sure you tell them, make sure you teach them, amen. Your responsibility is to make sure they know, amen. You have seen, you have heard, you know what happened. Numerous occasions, I remember I fought that motion sickness, man. I mean, I went to several doctors, ear doctors and all this kind of stuff, and they said it's this and that and something else. To drive to Beckley, if I went to Beckley to visit the hospital, I'd sit in the car five, 10 minutes before I could get out. Drive my own car. I mean, I'd just be so sick. It's pitiful. But it's every day. I don't remember who all the men was when we went to visit somebody. You might have been on that visit. Norman Maythorne prayed for me. I mean, to tell you, I couldn't drive my own automobile. I couldn't look around. Now I can read the newspaper while you drive, and you can't drive as good as I can. Amen. God healed me. I never had it again. I'm telling you, we need to tell them what God can do, what God can do, what God can do. We remember Randall and Brenda coming, running into the camp, shouting and praising God, for God had healed their grandson. There are some have not seen, have not heard, do not know, but God said, be sure you tell them. Make sure they know, make sure they know, make sure they know. Some of us have gone through difficulties in other ways. I remember them telling me over and over and over and over and over. I mean, they even brought the psychiatrist up to talk to me. Your wife will never walk. Your wife can never take a step. There is no connection between her spinal cord and her legs. She cannot walk. It's impossible. Mr. Jones, you've got to accept this. I said, I don't have to accept nothing. If I believe that God can do something, then I can trust God. Mr. Jones, you're going to break down. You will not be able to handle this. I said, I'm taking it to God. I'd be in that room at night time. I'd say, Lord, I'm having a tough time. My faith is weak. She's sleeping. I said, let her wiggle her foot. She wiggled her foot. I'd say, Lord, I'm very weak. Let her wiggle the other one. She didn't wiggle it. The nurse would come in, I'd say she wiggled it. Oh, that's just reflexes. I said, no, that's God. That's God. Put them electrodes on her legs after she was able to walk on the walker. She said, that doctor said, Miss Jones, if I turn it up any higher, I'll burn a hole in your skin. There's no connection. cause he's gonna try to fix that electronic ankle. Said, there's no connection. We don't understand how you can walk. We don't understand how you can stand up. We can't figure that out. If I put any more electricity on your leg, it's gonna burn a hole in your skin. She said, I can't feel any of that. Tears rolled down her cheeks cause she's hoping. He said, ma'am, don't be upset. You are a miracle. It's a miracle. You can walk on a walker. You say you drive a car. It's a miracle, ma'am. You have no connection. We can't figure out how you do what you do. I tell you why it's a miracle of God. We watch people have cancer and go through it and come out. He said, you have seen everything. You know everything. He said, they don't know. Moses said, they don't know everything. They haven't seen everything. They haven't watched everything. You've got to tell them, amen. You've got to tell them. First of all, you got to tell them the danger, the danger of sin, the danger of rebellion, the danger of going against God, the danger of leaving his will, the danger of saying no to God. It's dangerous. It's brought chaos to people's life. You know what's happened to people's lives. It's not that we want to bring up a slur against somebody. We don't want to hurt a Byron or any of the rest of them. We don't want to bring a sling on the family of Levi and his sons and what they did. That's not the case. We want people to know that if you go against God, it brings a bad day in your life. You sow to the flesh, you'll reap of the flesh. It is not good. He said, you saw that. You saw my chastisement. You saw me deal with people. You saw those things. You know what sin will do. You don't have to be instructed your children don't know yet. They've not seen the same things you saw. They've not heard the same things you've heard. They need to know. Not only that, but we've seen God help people out, all sorts of difficulties. Miracle after miracle after miracle, just like the phone call you heard. people say, that's a coincidence. No, that's not a coincidence. That's God. Over and over and over, we've seen God do that. I got that phone call at night, said we have a problem with the bin, the bin feeder, such and such a bin. We had 10 coal bins, so we could blend coal, Brother Dave. We had coal coming from different mines. We had coal coming from strip mines. We had coal. We had 10 coal bins, 10 feeders. We could set the feeders at different speeds and blend the coal to make what they wanted, Brother Randall. They said, bins such and such, we can't adjust. Can't get it to go. We've worked on it all day. Evening shifts worked on it. See if you can fix it tonight. That's a big challenge, amen. That could be a thousand things, brother Donald. I'm coming in. Night shift, coming in. My buddy stops me and said, I was out there taking a cold sample a while ago. I seen this blue arc on being such and such. I said, you did? He said, I said, where'd you see the arc at? He told me. I said, don't tell nobody else. Amen. I went out there and just a few minutes had it fixed. They asked me this the next day. I said, God showed me the problem. God fixed it, amen. I'm telling you, God can do anything, brother David. It doesn't have to be spiritual. It can be mechanical. It can be electrical. It can be anything. God can do anything. We've watched God do so many things. I mean, John was in that muddy mess when he was putting that track on, new tracks on that dozer at the time. Probably the only one here that remembers that. We worked all night, all night. It was up in the morning. It hadn't got daylight, I don't think. It was just for daylight. We put a final drive and two sets, two complete tracks on the bulldozer. I think it was five or six of us there working. You know them pins we drove in them tracks on before, Donald, on that other track job? Same thing. We've got 16-pound, 20-pound hammers. We're putting everything in our bodies in them hands. We can't even start the pins in the holes. We can't even start to pin in the holes. We're muddy, we're soaking wet, we're cold. We've worked like slop dogs all night long. They said, what are we going to do? There is a press. There's a hydraulic press. Take two of the pads off, set the press over, put the hydraulic on it. We didn't have one of them things. But everybody drives them in with a hammer. I said, that's what we're going to do. We're going to get down here and pray. We're going to ask God to put them pins in. I don't know how many believe, but I said, God, there ain't nobody can do this but you. Nobody. We need you. Got through praying. I said, what do you want to do? I said, put the pen in. Put the pen in. I went tick, tick, tick, tick, tick with a small hammer. Put it in. I said, put the other one in. We don't want anything to get cold here anymore. There's children that never saw what God can do. My brother Billy saved the day. He was a lost, lost, lost man. We worked together numerous times, different projects. He was pulling that sleeve out of that diesel engine brother Dave. Bill was the best, one of the best diesel mechanics I ever knew. He couldn't trick him. He was sharp. Look at how sharp he was. I was in Pennsylvania, or Maryland, under the hood, on a Detroit. It was over revving. I called him, I said, Bill, got a Detroit, it's over revving. He said, you got a stuck injector. I said, I've checked every injector, it's not, that's not it. He said, you got a stuck injector. I said, no, no, you gotta listen to me. Something else, he said, you listen to me, you haven't searched enough, it's a stuck injector. Man, I crawled back under that nasty thing in the heat. I pulled the complete valve pan again. Every injector worked. I called him back. Bill, I said, I have checked every injector. It's not, he said, don't call me again until you find that stuck injector. So I pulled the whole rocker arm system off. That's a big bunch of work. Number one cylinder, that injector barely moved. But with the rocker arms on, I could move it like all the rest of them, I thought. I called him back, I said, you can't believe what I found. He said, you ain't gonna trick me. It was a stuck injector, which one was it? So we're pulling that diesel, we're pulling that cylinder out. We done everything we could do. We'd done the normal thing, put the chain down through the cylinder, put the plate on the bottom, put a come along to pop the cylinder. We'd done all that. It ain't moving. Nothing moved. He was sharp, wasn't he, Frankie? We put a 20-ton hydraulic jack under it to jack out the cylinder. And you know what happened? It lifted the dozer up. He said, I ain't never seen nothing like that. He said, what do you think we're going to do? I said, I'm going to get down here beside this bulldozer and pray. That's what I'm going to do. And I got down there and prayed out loud. He's laying under the bulldozer. I got through praying and said, what do you want me to do? I said, knock it out of there. I said, at the top, he pecked it. I reached and pulled it out with my hand and set it off. We had to come along. It was so dangerous. I said, we're going to break the chain. It's going to kill us. Our children haven't seen some of the things we saw. He said, you saw God do things. He said, you know God done things. He said, tell your children. I remember when folks lost things and God just showed them where it was. God just put it back for them when he could find it. I believe with all my heart, God just sometimes tells angels, go get it and put it where they can see it. Just put it where they can see it. They're not going to find it if you don't. We was the young people, we was down on the river, down on the Clear Fork. You know where the big swimming hole is on the Clear Fork? When you come across the bridge and you come around and then you've got a little road that goes down into the big swimming hole where the rock cliff is. Y'all remember that? Yeah, how many of you ever been there? Well, we had the young people down there. We was diving, I know some of us was. Some of us jumping off that big cliff. That's probably about a 15, 16 foot drop, I guess, off of there into the water, a big deep hole of water. When the kids come up, their watch band had broke off. When they slapped the water with their hands, there's so much force it jerked their watch off their hand. It either broke the band, I think it broke the band. And they was upset, kind of crying, they lost their watch. I said, oh, God will let us find it, you know. Now, it's a watch in the bottom of the river. I jumped off the rock cliff, kapoosh, hit the water, swum to the bottom, fell around a little bit, there was the watch. I said, God did that. God did that. Are you listening? He said, you saw me do things they did not see. You saw me do miracles they did not see. He said, I'm talking to you that saw, that heard and saw. He said, you tell it. You tell your children. Over and over, we could tell miracle after miracle. Sometimes we act like this is not a miracle working day. God's still a miracle working God. He can do exceeding abundantly above. The stories could be endless. We don't tell enough about how he's done things for us. We saw him help us. We saw him come to our rescue. We saw him pull us out of difficulties. We saw him take care of us when the storms was raging. We didn't have a clue what to do. We saw him deliver our people from accidents. We couldn't figure out how it could be possible. My brother Randall was in that wreck. That steering wheel was crushed back into that seat. I don't know how it squeezed him out of there. I mean, when ambulance people showed up, they couldn't figure out what happened to the dead people. Where did they go to? We should never quit telling what God does. We should never quit telling how God has helped us, how God has taken care of us, how God took care of your children, how God watched over them, how God pulled them through horrible accidents, how he took care of them and all sorts of things, and just never quit telling. He said, I'm not writing to your children. I'm not, excuse me. He said, I'm not speaking to your children. I'm speaking to you that saw it all, that heard it all, that know it all. He said, you have the responsibility to tell it. You saw. You know what I can do. You know what I've done. You know the miracles. You know the things that I have done. He said, you're going into a land that I'm going to give you. He said, don't forget what I've already done. He said, don't forget what you've already seen. Don't forget what you've already heard. You're going in a land that flows with milk and honey. I'm going to give it to you. But don't forget what I've done. Are you listening? What God has done in your life, we've seen the Lord hold the rain. I've seen the rain rain around us in a circle. It never come to where we was. We could see it, but it never come to where we was. We pray and ask God not to let it rain. Went up there to have the little prayer meeting where I live, Brother Randall. The storm raised up. I said, what are we going to do? I said, what are we going to pray? Just pray God to keep the storm off of us. And we'd go ahead and we was having breakfast, prayer. We was frying our eggs and fixing with a Coleman stove, having breakfast. And God let it rain all around us, but kept the rain off of us. I'm telling you, God can do anything. There's not one thing God cannot do. God can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. And we are responsible to tell everybody we know how great he is. Amen. He said, you saw people go haywire and what happened to them. You saw people ruin their life. You saw that. He said, tell you children, you're going to a land that's full. He said, you want to have heaven on earth? Hey, where's Ella at back there? Y'all want to have heaven on earth, son? Just keep God's Word. Be faithful. Your marriage can be heaven on earth. I know Janice got the baby, little fella, she's sick. You want to have heaven on earth? Y'all look like y'all kind of sweet on each other back there. Y'all want to have heaven on earth? Do you want to have heaven on earth? Then just obey the Bible. Don't forget what God's done. Don't forget what He's done in the past. Don't forget His miracles. Don't forget the danger of sin. Remember, it's costly to go wrong. You never turn out good for going bad. Tell your children what God can do. Tell them how great He is. Tell them what He's done in the past. There may be a day they're going to need something. They're going to need something. They're going to need something. I've seen all the bins full of coal, four, five, six hundred coal cars full of coal. Nowhere to put it and the temper won't start. I remember they called me back to the plant one morning. I just walked in the door and the phone rang. Gotta get back up here, can't get the plant to start. I walked in. All the big wheels was there. And I said, tell me what the deal is, what's taking place. And they explained it to me. I said, the eyes on the coal furnace, on the dryer is not seeing the flame. One of them spoke up and said, we've done that. The superintendent said, shut your mouth. Whatever he says, we're going to do. You've been here all morning. You ain't got it running. I said, don't worry about cleaning. Let's put new eyes, both sides. Real fast, we worked, got on the radio, see what she'll do. Everything went into place, fired up. I said, God did that. God did that. It don't matter if it's mechanical, it don't matter what it is. He can drive your car with no gas in it. He can make a hole in the cloud so he can take an airplane down through it and see the island. He can do anything. I'm telling you. We're living in the last days. We better learn to live on God. We better learn to trust Him. We better learn to depend on Him, no matter what. He said, you saw it all. You've heard it all. Your children haven't. He said, I'm speaking to you that know. He said, you tell your children. You tell them. You tell them. Let's bow our heads and pray. Father, in Jesus' name, thank you for the grace and mercy and kindness you showed us.
