Now I'd like to ask everybody who's here to turn to the book of James. Would you turn to the book of James? That's where we'll be in Sunday school. Wow, now I'm going to take a survey. I was actually at Bible Baptist Church some years ago when I was preaching. I set up meetings down there at Brother Bickle's church. How many of you know who Brother Bickle is and you like him? That's good, all right. I was there, and I actually stayed at the prophet's chamber, which is now the pastor's home, here, and got to drive every day. I'm a country preacher for 34 years. I was pastor of a country church, and if you saw where I was, you'd say, man, that's country. And you should have been with me when I was driving my car from there to here every single day. I mean, I'm gonna tell ya, it proves the grace of God that I didn't have a nervous breakdown. But it was interesting, and now Brother Robinson's my driver today, and so he's the one with the nervous breakdown. But anyway, that's just because I'm a country bumpkin, but I'm glad to be back at Bible Baptist Church now. Here's my survey. Okay, first of all, I was on one evening service I got to preach here. Is there anybody here, now you be honest about it, were Christians? How many of you think you remember me? Raise your hand. Okay, there's one back there and she showed up anyway. Very good, glad that you're good. Okay, now my real survey. How many of you would be really offended and put off and hurt if somebody got right up here at the beginning of Sunday School, walked closer to the front to get a better seat. How many of you, with that, you would think, you know what, they're destroying the dignity of this service by getting up in front of everybody and selfishly trying to find a better seat? How many of you would be offended or bothered if somebody got up to get a better seat? Raise your hand. Ah, brother, This is a very, very kind church. No one, not one person in somebody's school would be bothered if someone got up to get a better seat. Now, when I was growing up, we were in the Methodist Church. And our pastor, unfortunately, pastors over the years had abandoned the theology and the message of the Wesleyans who started the Methodist Church. And I never heard one Bible sermon in my whole life. I certainly didn't hear about how to go to heaven. Then I got saved through a radio preacher. But at the Methodist church, I would sit as far back as my parents would let me sit. And that would be in the balcony, all the way in the back, and I would pay no attention. Now I got saved, I started going to a Baptist church where they taught the Bible, and I kept my old habits. And even in revival meetings, I would sit way back. Then I got called to preach, went to Bible college, There was a Sword of the Lord conference down in the town, and that was at a church that would seat 1,000 people. So my friend had a car, and we were gonna go down there and hear the speakers at the conference, and so he took me in his car. When we went in the auditorium, I was with him, he was with me, so we were walking in to get a seat, and we kept getting closer and closer. And closer, and I felt like saying, whoa, where are we going? No. But we went to the second row. We went and sat in the second row. And I want to tell you something. It was better. It was like being in the same room with the preacher instead of watching him on TV. And not only that, I could see the expression on his face. And you know what? I've been a second row guy ever since. Second row guy ever since. Not just because I'm a preacher, but now I've taken a long time to talk about that, but it'll make a difference. I know what the speaker is speaking on in Sunday school. Aren't you glad? And this would be a good one for us to be cozy. So as I talk just a little bit about my table out there just for a minute, it'll only be a minute. If any of you would like to get a better seat, I will let you do that, and the group that's here today won't be offended. How many of you would say, I think I see a better seat than I'm sitting in right now, would you raise your hand? Come on, you guys gotta help me out here. Well, anyway, I'm gonna talk, I'm not gonna be mad at you no matter what, but believe me, it'll be better if we're all right down here. So, you be welcome to come. Oh, look at that, there's your leader. An example, amen, Robinson that I'm staying with, that's great. Okay, now, You go on into the lobby, you'll see the tables from the different mysteries, and I have the poorest, lousiest, most nondescript table, it's an awful table, and a few books. Sometimes where I go places, people want to read my book on revival. When I was a pastor, and I won't go into my life story now, eventually, if you keep coming to these meetings, you'll hear all about me. But we learned, my wife and I, about revival from the Bible. That's where you learn about revival. From the Bible. And also by experience. And a couple of times, my wife and I, if she was here, you'd really like her. We would say we've been touched by the fire. And you never go back. You do go back. But I'm talking about what the plan was when Jesus came, what the Christian life really is. And it's not hard. And revival is not something extraordinary or historical. It's healthy Christianity. That's all it is. So, one thing about the book, people say it opens their eyes to what revival is, and that helps us have revival, which has everything to do with missions, has everything. And if you stay with me, you'll know that, okay? And I wanna urge you, I know pastor, because I was pastor so many years, that I'm looking at people who never come to church Sunday night. No, it's against their religion. You know, you've got rules, standards, and principles, where when the sun goes down, you don't go to church. I'm going to tell you, I'd like to ask you, even though you don't know me, to break the rules today. Come to this thing. This is a big meeting. I don't know what you think about a missions conference, but it's not for a few people. It's for all of us. It's really about our mission in life. It's not just about missionaries. It's about us and our family. No kidding. And I'm going to try to unfold that during my part. So anyway, there's the book. It's short. Don't you like short books? Okay, not a daunting, okay. And they're back there and I am just letting them go at Bible Baptist for six bucks. They're a $7 retail, but if you get one for six bucks, you know what? You can use the other dollar for anything you want to buy. Things at Tiffany's or all these New York City Macy's on, Madison have a new shirt go down there with your dollar and that'll be fine. Okay, so that might be helpful I won't keep talking about that then my card. Why do I have a card? This is a missions conference. Come on Missionaries and evangelists always have cards and that's what my wife looks like. I'm sorry. She's not here She was with me in Manhattan and Joan for revival meetings and maybe I'll get her back here one of these days I guarantee you don't like her more than you like me anyway Now we're at James. How many of you remember that I said the book of James, okay? Chapter one. Verse one. James, I think that's James the son of Alphaeus, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the 12 tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience, but let patience have her perfect work, that she may be perfect and entire, wanting or lacking nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God to give it to all men liberally, and I'm afraid if not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. Now the opening subject in the wonderful book of James is temptations and trials and the need for wisdom. You know what, Christian people endure trials and temptations. And no matter what prayer request you brought with you to Sunday school, I'll tell you what, one of the things you need is wisdom. If there's a medical problem, we need wisdom. The doctor needs wisdom. If it's a financial problem, we need wisdom. We may be needing jobs. But I tell you what, no matter what kind of trial you go through, you always need wisdom. You always need to know what to do. I have a list of things that I pray for in my life every day under the category of give us this day our daily bread. And I'm going to tell you, under each one, there are things I need to do and things I need Him to do. But I'll tell you, wisdom, wisdom, wisdom. But here we have a remarkable and very useful promise in verse 5. A very, very useful promise. I think I stood on James 1, 5 more than any other verse when I was a pastor. It was great. Would you read it with me? Right out loud, starting with the word, if, everybody now, read it out loud. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that give it to all men liberally, and come freely to God. Amen. So let's take a look at that. Dear God, I pray that we would put into our hands an extremely useful tool, and that is your absolute promise to give us wisdom. Let the families and the individual Christians in this room, and even the seekers for God, get wisdom from your throne as a result of learning what the promise means. I pray that you do that in Sunday school. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, this promise is connected to the missions conference. No kidding. We will need wisdom for that this week. For one thing is, shall I go or give? And others may go. You know, I need to know what my role is. God might have you go to the mission field. Not at my age. You'd be surprised. Now, with my obligations, God does amazing things. Yeah, maybe you should go. Or maybe you should give maybe more. See, that sounds like a missions conference to me. They get a preacher in here to try to get me to dig deeper. No, we want to do the will of God, right? So individuals or families need to have wisdom to decide what to do. And if I'm supposed to go, I need to know where. And if I need to give, I need to know how much from him. Now, every year, my family and our good church, First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, Michigan, we have a challenge, both for missions and for something else that I don't need to get into now. And we've been led to give a little more every year. And you go, ah, what did I just do? Matter of fact, when I get back, I'm gonna be at a thing where we're gonna it helps us see God in our life. Wouldn't it be great to live a life where every year things happen that cannot be explained except that there's a God? A lot of times giving has to do with that. So Lord, I'll do whatever you want me to do, but I need to know. And some came to Sunday school with other questions, important ones about your life. You lack wisdom. What shall I do? So let's take this promise apart, okay? And let's understand what God has said. Number one, notice that it's a universal promise. So you're looking down at verse five while I talk. If any of you, let him ask, like wisdom, let him ask of God any of you which give it to all men. liberally and afraid of God, and it shall be given him. Whoa, he says, any of you, and may I suggest, he even means unsaved people. God tells everybody in the world, if you want wisdom, I'll give it to you. You just gotta ask me. Isn't that something else? That's amazing. Proverbs chapter four and verse seven says, wisdom is the principle thing. And all thy getting, get wisdom. Now, when we started having family devotions, that was after we started having kids. We had the kids, little kids. We read Book of Proverbs. And every day I would say, the Book of Proverbs was written to give us wisdom, teach us how to get wisdom. So tomorrow, we would start our study in the Book of Proverbs, and I'd say, now remember, the Book of Proverbs, kids, was written to teach us how to get what? And they would say, saved. I'd say, no. It was written to teach us how to get wisdom, the first few verses. So the third day. I'd say, now we're back to the Book of Proverbs, kids. Book of Proverbs was written and given to us to teach us how to get saved, they said. See, I'm not a very good teacher. That's not good for Sunday school. But eventually they got it. Now watch. Isn't that odd? That the Book of Proverbs would say, in all thy getting, get wisdom. Most important thing is to get wisdom when we must be born again. I'll explain that to you. 2 Timothy 3.15 says that from a child you have learned the holy scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation. Do you know what wisdom is? Wisdom is not intelligence. Wisdom is not education. Wisdom is being able to see life the way it really is. To look at things like God. The Lord Jesus Christ, in his Sermon on the Mount, gave wisdom. And you know, he taught the opposite of what the world teaches you. That is, give and it shall be given to you. That doesn't make sense. It's about get, not know. You see, the truth is the opposite of what the world tells you. See, and wisdom is looking at the world, or at life, like God does. Having wisdom, knowing the way things really work, and living accordingly. Now watch. If I got wisdom, I'd get saved. If I got wisdom, I would know I'm not good, I'm bad. If I got what I deserved, it wouldn't be heaven, it would be the other place. See, the Son of God came to save me from my sins. Simple faith in Him will give me eternal life, and any wise man on all the earth who knows It is a universal promise. That means you too. Okay, number two. It's a simple promise. Let him do what? If you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. You know what? God likes being dumb. He does. If I come to God and say, dear God, we got a great big decision to make about our house or about that. See, he likes to be dumb. If I come to God and say, now Lord, I know what to do. You know, I'm a man. I know how to handle life. I just want you to bless what I've decided to do. See, God's not too impressed with that. But just like God likes us weak. See, his strength is made perfect in my weakness. Now, I can't always volunteer to be strong. it's impossible to please him. He wants us to trust him, including wisdom. I don't know what to do. God says, okay, good. Let him ask of God. Remember, Jesus said, ask and it shall be given you. Seek and ye shall find. He says, that's the father-son relationship. We got what we got saved. We have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. That's all the time, not just prayer time. Because I'm in need of a father every day of the week. Now, one of the things we can ask God for and expect to get is wisdom. It's a very simple promise. Ask, and it shall be given you. Let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and abreath not, it shall be given him. Anybody here can do it. Number three is a generous promise, who giveth to all men liberally and abreath not, and it shall be given him. Liberally means generously. God says, I'll give you all the wisdom you need. Do you remember a famous man in the Old Testament that was in over his head? He was going to be the king. His father was David, King David, and that's a pretty tough act to follow. And it was the people of God that he would rule over. And he says, man, am I inadequate for this? So we ask God for wisdom to do his job. Who is that? Did you know God will give you the wisdom of Solomon? He'll give it to all men liberally. All the wisdom you need. Matter of fact, I have prayed, oh God, I need the wisdom of Solomon. Then I realized that was a wrong prayer. Because Solomon got the wisdom of God. Not Solomon's wisdom. It was the wisdom of God. And I didn't get a chance to ask God for it. It's like God's up there waiting for people to ask Him. Isn't that amazing? You know, here we have an earth full of human beings who don't know what they're doing. All you have to do is open your eyes and see that people don't know what they're doing. And God's up there waiting for somebody to say, Help! I need to know what to do! I'm facing a big problem. give it to all men liberally and abrade it not. Abrade it is a good King James word. I'm a King James Bible guy. Do you know what abrade means? Chew you out. See, he'll give you all the wisdom you need and he won't chew you out. He won't say I don't even know, I don't even know what to do about my grocery bill. I don't even know what to do about getting a good parking space, especially in New York. I don't know what to do. God says, I'm your man. I'm your father, here I am. He giveth to all men liberally, and I prayeth not. It's a sure promise, and it shall be given him. Not if, you know what? I developed a policy when I was a pastor that's about my personal life and yours, as well as my responsibilities as a pastor. Here was the policy. I would, if I had a question, I need to know what to do about this, I would ascertain It's like, alright, well we'll need to know about this by the 15th. There's my actual deadline. But sometimes there's no actual deadline, but there's a natural deadline. Like this, it would be wrong for me not to tell her. deadline. Do I have a deadline? If I don't have any kind of deadline, maybe I don't need to know. Maybe I'll just go on with my life, but if I need wisdom, if I need to know what to say about what decision to make, I look for a natural deadline and I tell them. Now, if I'm wrong, Lord, correct me, but it looks to me like I need to give an answer to my wife by Thursday. Or some of the way, I'm gonna tell ya, the way is, okay, a natural deadline. Now watch this. Between now and the natural deadline, I do what God says about getting wisdom. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him. He shall direct thy paths. Which includes several things. Pray, and if you lack wisdom, I'll pray every day. I'll pray several times a day. I'll pray while I'm driving down the road. Lord, I still don't know what to do. Shall I tell him yes or no? Okay, pray. Another thing is go to the Bible. Book of Proverbs says that God is the one who gives wisdom and it's found in his word. That it's like digging for buried treasure. So I'm digging hard. Gonna go into the Bible. Is there anything in here that'll give me my answer? Go for that. And then one of the And people in authority over me helps me out. You know, the women of our church didn't know that when they came to me for counseling, I had a reason to ask, what does your husband think? Now, we were a very conservative church, but I probably had ladies who would probably be put off if they knew why. They never minded. I said, about this, maybe it doesn't have to do with the husband or with the family. I will always say, what does your husband think or what do your parents think? to a kid. Okay, you know what? God speaks to us through the ones in authority over us. Maybe it's a situation where no one is in authority, but I'll tell you something. I got to get counsel, godly counsel. Don't have to do what they say. Often, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. We had a tough things about being a pastor is you don't have one. But there's a good man, he's in heaven now, that ordained me. I said, if we've got a pastor, it's Dr. So I gave him a call, and he understands what I'm telling you about. I said, Pastor, here's our situation. We need to decide what to do about this. It'll affect the rest And I decided that the Lord's speaking to me about speaking to you about it. And I want you to know we're inclined to do exactly what you say. And my pastor knew what I meant by that. So he would take it very seriously. We did exactly what he said. See, I want to get Godly counsel. Sometimes I look for authority, although everybody today hates authority, which is what's wrong with the world. Okay, so I get my pastor, okay, so here we go. Praying, scripture, Council and the deadline comes sometimes I know Have any of you ever asked God for wisdom and in your Bible reading like a verse popped out of the paint? Almost like an angel came to visit you almost like you heard a voice. I don't mean you heard a voice But there it is Boy, how many ever had that happen? Sometimes I door closes Praying about well, there's my answer Can't do A, I'll have to do B. Yeah, sometimes during that period of time, God gives you the exact wisdom. Sometimes I come to the natural deadline, and nothing happened. Nothing happened, now what do I do? Here's what my policy was. I assumed I got the wisdom. Cause he said, and it shall be given up. Here it is, the natural deadline. I gotta call so and so up and tell him something. Lord, I'm gonna claim James 1 fight and assume I've got wisdom. I just don't feel it and I'm not positive that I'll tell him this. How many times he's heard me say this? Now, Lord, it looks to me like what you've been telling me, but I'm not sure is this. And Lord, unless you change my mind by 10 o'clock this morning, I'm gonna call him up and tell him. Because that's what I, you gave me the wisdom, I just am not very good at discerning what it is. So, that'll be it. At the natural deadline, I'll say, Lord, I assume you gave me the wisdom because it says, it shall be given him, not might, shall. I think I've got the wisdom, and if I'm wrong, Changed my mind. Then I go ahead with it, and I never look back. Pastored the same church for 34 years. Now you're gonna look at me really funny when I tell you this. I don't think I made any mistakes, because I was following this. Sometimes things don't work out right away, but I'll say, you told me, I followed your whistle, and you know what, in the long run I found out everything turned out right. So you're going to think I'm a proud man by saying, no, no, no, I'm a dumb man. But God keeps his promise. So you don't look back. You don't go crazy going, oh, maybe we shouldn't have our baby. Tomorrow morning at 8.30, a guy was going to meet with me. I was going to tell him something. I know what he wanted to hear. But I wasn't sure about this deal. I told my wife, I said, I'm going up to the church. Now, we lived way out in the country, just beyond our house. The road was gravel. How many gravel roads are there in New York City? None of them. But we were way out. So I drove down to the church, which was equal to a city block, although we weren't in the city. And I said, I'm going up there to pray about this. So I prayed, took my Bible with me, prayed, prayed more than an hour, I think. Finally, it's about 1130 and I said, okay, Lord, I think I know what to do, but I'm not positive. Tomorrow morning I meet so-and-so. And if I'm wrong, you're going to need to change my mind before 8.30 a.m. from 11.30. So I picked up my Bible. I got up from where I was praying up in front. It was like this with steps. And I was walking to the back of the auditorium, 11.30 at night, and a car pulled in to the parking lot. If you had any idea how rare that is, At night, it was very rare for a car to come down our road at all. And it pulled into the church. So I'm in the lobby, and guess who walks in the door? That guy, 8.30 tomorrow morning. I still, to this day, don't know what he was doing there. He came in, and he said, I saw your car over here. He said, I'm just wondering, have you decided what you're going to tell me tomorrow morning? And I said, no. I'm praying and asking God for wisdom. But if I had to do it right now, it would be, oh, really? Well, wait till tomorrow morning. But I'm telling you, if I had to tell you right now, it would be this. Okay. Got in his car and drove off. I went home, woke my wife up. I said, Jonah, So we prayed again, then we went to bed. That's what you do about midnight. So we went to bed two o'clock in the morning. Got up, opened the door, and a man and wife came to the door who told me something that confirmed my decision. 2 a.m. I said, if I am wrong, you'll need to change my mind before 830 in the morning. And instead, a man in white came to the door that told me something I didn't know, that made it sure. You know what we did before we went to bed? We got down on our knees in front of our couch in awe of what we had just seen. And I'm going to tell you, I took James 1-5 and my little policy with me the rest of my life, including to leave the pastorate and start traveling. We do things not because about what's on your heart right now, you don't have to be. Don't look back. If you need to ask me later about my policy, but it's based on James 1.5, it's a conditional promise. Look at verse 6. If I let him ask in faith, there's a condition. Nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a swaying Ask in faith. What does it mean? From the waiver idea, it means this. I'm committed. Don't waver. Don't waver. In two ways, committed. Persistent. Now, dear God, I'm not taking a step on this unless I hear from you. If you have to send an angel, that's your problem. Did you know every one of the says how he says that's my problem I gotta get the message to you and I can do that so asking faith means I'm gonna be persistent because I'm not taking a step till I know from you but it also means committed in a sense of unswerving unswerving I'm gonna keep praying for I'm not going to say, well, I didn't hear from God, so I guess I'll make up my own mind. Or I'll do something worldly. No, I'm committed to do your will. Meaning this, listen carefully. you say, whatever, whatever you want me to do, I will do it. He is not interested in satisfying our curiosity. Wouldn't it be interesting to find out if God wants me to be a missionary, even though I might not do it, that I'd be more rebellious than I already am? It's I surrender all. I will even be on the ship. I'll even go to Wooka Mooka land. I'll even go to places where there are snakes and mosquitoes. Go ahead, lay it out, whatever. Jesus said, you are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you. I'm your friend, Jesus, down here at Bible Baptist. And I'll let you know at this mission conference, I'll do whatever. I'll tell you what, a new chapter will start in your life, and part of it will be enlightenment, guidance, and wisdom. All that you need. Now I want you to turn to chapter three. This is important to see. Chapter one of the book of James introduces you to the book of James. That's brilliant. And I'll tell you, the book of James is about revival. James, their former pastor, was writing a circular letter to his members who were scattered all over the Middle East, all over that part of the Middle East, from Acts 8-1 on. You can go back and study all that stuff. But they were in need of revival. Some of you have read the book of James. You know the problems. They were not going to revive life. But some of the problems are sins of the tongue. Look at verse 10. Out of the same mouth proceeded blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. There's a phrase that has to do with the revival. You know what revival's about? It's about Christians not being what they ought to be. Brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? Either a vine, figs, so can no fountain yield both salt both of you, salt water and fresh. Who, watch this, is a wise man and a dude with knowledge among you. Let him show out of a good conversation and good behavior his works with meekness of wisdom. If I got wisdom, it'll change my character. I'll be meek. Keep going. But if you have bitter envying, and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descended not from above. It's not heavenly wisdom, but it's earthly. The world, sensual. The flesh, devilish. The world, the flesh, and the devil. There's a kind of wisdom. I know people who get elected to church office who are filled with worldly wisdom. Bad thing, bad thing. But there's such a thing as a person filled with heavenly wisdom. Okay, keep reading. From where envying and strife is, there is confusion in every evil work, but the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy, and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Part of what I gave us this day, our daily bread. One of the things I need every day is wisdom. Then lay out the decisions you have to make. You probably need to make some of those decisions almost every day. But listen, if a person makes it their habit to get up in the morning and part of what you ask for is guidance and wisdom. And then if you follow through by doing what God shows you, it'll change your life. is a life-changing promise. That's how I operate. Not using my experience, my brains, but using my faith by claiming the promise of James 1-5 every day that I change. I'm meek, gentle, peaceful. I am not troublemaking in the church. I'm peacemaking. Whoa, the Bible says they needed, they call them later deacons, and they should be men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost, and full of wisdom. You know, Pastor Rubin will eventually know, maybe he already knows, who in the church is full of wisdom. without hearing from him. How do you do that? James 1, 5. See how that works? It's a fantastic. Now look at me. You know, I know in Baptist churches the normal thing is every head bowed, every eye closed, no one looking around. This is top secret. But you know what? It might be good to be open and transparent sometimes. Who would say, Brother Flanders, you know what, the first thing I'm getting out of the missions conference is James 1.5. You know what, I'm a person who needs to start regularly asking God for guidance and expecting Him to give it. You know what, I'm going to adopt James 1.5 as part of my life today. Even if you haven't memorized the verse, but you know what I mean. Come on! I tell you, if that doesn't make an enormous difference, health and your church as God makes Bible Baptist Church his church in an amazing way. A light in a dark place. Wow. From that. Now let's bow our heads. Got a reason to keep our eyes closed this time. Everybody bow your head. Who would say in addition to that, brother Flanders, I want you to know that I came to church today I need for wisdom with a troubling issue in front of me, and I need to know what to do. And I need to have God show me what to do. So I'd like you to pray for me that God will give me wisdom according to James 1, 5, because I need it today. Raise your hand. Would you hold your hand up? And I want you to wait a minute, because I want to see everybody. I don't know your name, but I, yes, sir? OK. Hands down, thank you. Who else? I think there's somebody else who would say, yes ma'am, yes sir. Not the same people you can take your hand on. Brother Flanders, we're perfect strangers, but you're a Christian and so am I. I'd like you to pray with me that God will just open my eyes and show me what to do about this serious matter. If there's anyone else, I don't mean the same people. I'm not just trying to get hands up. But would you say, pray for me, for God to give me wisdom about this issue. If there's someone else, raise your hand. Yes, okay, both of you. Now look, why don't we ask them right now. Dear Lord, you're our Father. You told us we could ask and expect to receive. And specifically you said wisdom. Now Lord, upon a certain issue, we lack wisdom. And those of us who just joined together by the raising of hands, we are asking you for the wisdom. Give us all the wisdom we need. Oh Lord, let us know because we're dumb. Let us know in a clear way what we ought to say about this issue. Right, thank you very much. That was Sunday School. David.
