If y'all are in x3 and Romans should be Romans 16 I want to go over a couple things that Well, as y'all know, again, there's war in Israel. And this, what I'm gonna go over tonight, is gonna fit right in with our Acts chapter two. If y'all remember the study that I handed you last week, we're about to talk about the Day of Pentecost, and the Day of Pentecost was one of the seven annual feasts of Israel that took place in the first seven months of the year, that's Leviticus 23. And so what you're seeing is, in Acts two, God's still dealing with Israel. See, the kingdom of heaven that was prophesied was at hand here. But until after the cross, Christ had to die on the cross. So it's being offered in early acts. So that's what you've got to understand here. So you're still in Israel's prophetic program in early acts. Now, there's a difference there that's what's going on. Like today, everybody, it's the end of the world again. Every time something happens over in Israel, it's the end of the world. And you know what's happening? People are starting again to predict the end of the world. And just like lost people predict the end of the world. And you know what gets me? You know, it was gonna be global cooling. It was global warming. Now it's just climate change. Well, the climate does change. But what I'm saying is, lost people predict things, and this is what gets me. At one time, all the coastline was going to be underwater at 2,000, so and so, and this and that and the other, and it hadn't happened. But what gets me is, how come they don't have to answer for their false predictions? We'll get up there. A lot of these people are saved. And they mix up what's going on with Israel and their prophetic program with what's going on in the mystery of the body of Christ with us. And they try to pull those feast day things and all that stuff into our program. And they say, something's going on with Israel. Must be the end of the world. Something's been going on with Israel. We're going to look at the Scripture since the beginning of all the way up in Genesis. And I can prove to you in Scripture it's going to be going on until the Lord Jesus Christ comes back. And you've got to get that wine because don't fall in. I know y'all are not going to, but the news makes money off of wars and all that and they want to get you ramped up. And look at all this stuff. And look at all this horrible stuff happening. There is horrible stuff happening. Let me tell you something. Right now, those Jews that's over there, the Bible says, they are not my people. They're in unbelief right now. So you can't say, alright, well, you know, because some people say, well, look at what Hamas has done. Well, look, all of them are sinners that need to be saved. Hamas needs to be saved. Israel needs to be saved. The whole bunch of them over there needs the Lord Jesus Christ and Him crucified. So you know what they're going to do? They're going to fight one another. That's right. And then everybody's going to say, look, the end of the world's going on. When the whole aspect is if people would trust the salvation through the gospel, the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for atonement for their sin, then they'd get in the Word of God and they wouldn't want to do that. The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer. Not peace treaties and all that type of stuff. Why don't they just break them? So here's the thing that you have to get, and I know y'all don't, but some people get mad whenever you don't take a side on this stuff. The side is the Lord Jesus Christ side. People need to get saved. That's like our country. People want to blame this, that, and the other thing. It's sin. You're born a sinner and you've got a sin nature and the only way to help that thing is get saved. And it just makes things almost too simple. Here's two programs. Prophetic program in Acts chapter 3. It's mentioned here. It says in verse number 19, Simon Peter's preaching. And see, he's telling them to repent while he's giving them a chance to accept that prophesied kingdom that's been prophesied to them all the way up through their prophetic scriptures. He says, repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out. What Colossians tells you when you trust Jesus Christ, Colossians chapter 2 says, the moment you trust Jesus Christ, your sins are blotted out right then. We're not waiting on a blotting out. Why? Because Israel, that's why they have to endure to the end, all that type of stuff. Their salvation is not completed until the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. We've got a full and complete salvation. The Bible says you are complete in Him once you trust the gospel. They're under a different program. Watch this. When the times of refreshing shall come, when? from the presence of the Lord. That means the Lord's present, then they get the times of refreshing. And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you, saying He's going to come back to them. Whom the heaven must receive, when? Until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets. Watch this little phrase right here. Since the world began. Now y'all, if most of Christendom got what I'm about to show you right here, most of this stuff would be alleviated and the confusion would go away. There's a program, a prophetic program for the nation of Israel that's not the same as what you have. Why? Because it said it's been prophesied since the world began. Watch this, Romans 16, look at verse number 25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel." That's the gospel that the Lord Jesus Christ revealed to the Apostle Paul, the gospel of the grace of God. And it says, in the preaching of Jesus Christ, watch this, how do we preach Christ? According to the revelation of the mystery. See, what God revealed to the Apostle Paul is directly to you. And if you preach the earthly Jesus, you're preaching Him the wrong way because the Jesus that you're supposed to preach according to the Apostle Paul tells you, you're saved by grace through faith and that not of yourself, the gift of God, not of works. Okay, you got this thing where it says, with us, we have no covenants, we have no promises, and all that type of stuff. Okay, if you say, I got no covenants, no promise, Whenever I read Acts chapter 1, it tells you about the promise of the Holy Ghost over here. I know that that has to do with Israel and their covenants and their promises. We've got the gift of the Holy Ghost upon salvation. It's a free gift. Okay, you have to have that. Now watch what it says. It says, which was kept secret since the world began. Now y'all, I'm gonna tell you something. And once you see that, you can't unsee it. There is a program that was kept secret since the world began. And there was one program that was manifest through the holy prophets since the world began. We, our program was hid in Christ in God. And then it was revealed to the Apostle Paul, and then to all the apostles that he had in his, because the Church of Mystery program had some apostles to start off with, too, and some prophets, and it got revealed to them by the Spirit, but Paul was the first one. And once you get that, you start judging everything else, this whole other program, because see, Their program's not going on right now because we're in the dispensation of grace. But whenever you get to the rapture of the body of Christ, God will finish out where he stopped at. He's gonna pick right back up and finish out the program of Daniel's 70th week. Has to be finished. He'll finish out that program with the nation Israel. But he's put them on pause for our dispensation. Now, here's one reason why I'm telling you that. We're reading Acts chapter 2. This is prophecy concerning Israel. So you're looking in there, and all of a sudden, in Acts chapter 7, he puts it on Paul's at the stoning of Stephen, calls out the Apostle Paul, and gives him the dispensation of the grace of God. Now, what's different? They had signs. They had things that they had to have as signs because they're preaching a messianic, prophesied kingdom, saying, look, if you believe this message here, you're going to realize the Lord's going to set up a literal, physical, visible, earthly, Davidic, prophesied kingdom on planet Earth with the Lord Jesus Christ ruling from Jerusalem. And if you tell people that, they're going to say, okay, well, you're going to have to prove that. If you're saying there's not going to be any sickness. And you're saying that the blind are going to see and the deaf are going to hear and the dumb are going to speak. You better have some proof of this. Well, guess what? Because they are earthly people that went by signs, they had to have the signs to prove that the message that they were preaching was so. That's right. So, everything they have to do has to do with signs and stuff. That's how come in their program, because it's fleshly and they have fleshly covenants, they went by sight and you could tell who was right with God and who wasn't in their program. Because if somebody said, all right, I'm right with God in their program. And you said, okay, well, are you keeping the commandments? But I'm right with God. Well, not according to this program. Why? Because if you'd gone with this program right here, you'd be keeping the commandments and you'd be doing what it says under the law. Alright, well then Hebrews through Revelation is on this side of the cross and they amend The law, according to Hebrews 7 verse 12, so in their dispensation, don't you know now because they go by signs and the Jews require signs, when our dispensation is over with, they don't have the same promise that we do. They don't have the same sealing of the Holy Spirit we do. And how are you going to be able to tell the wheat from the tares of those people that's in that dispensation? You're going to be able to go right through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John and try the spirits because he said you can try the spirits. He that keepeth the commandments is of God. It's that simple. They can say all they want to. No, I'm in the right religion. I believe the white right way and everything else. And all they got to do is say, hold on just a minute. He's having another God over there. That's breaking commandment one. He's obviously by sight. He's, all right, commandment number two, he's worshiping an image. And the Bible said, have no other images for me. He's not of God. It's that simple right there. Why? Because they're earthly people and they go by sight and they go by signs. You know what we don't do? We don't go by sight. We don't go by sight. We walk by faith and not by sight. That's how I come here. Because we have the sealing of the Holy Spirit, salvation is a free gift. He saves you if you trust the gospel. He said, now look, what you do with your salvation is up to you. Do you have good works that you should walk in? Ephesians chapter 2 says, but it says you should, not you always would. The only way you're going to walk in those works is that if you take that Bible and you read it and you apply it to your life like He says you are to do, then yeah, you will. But I'm going to tell you something. In this dispensation, you don't know who's right and who's wrong. Why? Because we don't walk by faith. I mean, we don't walk by sight. We walk by faith. And what happens is there's a lot of people who can counterfeit things. And you just can't tell it. So you know what you have to do? The people say, well, so-and-so must be saved if he's done this, that, and the other. That's Lordship salvation. Do you know how you can tell if somebody's saved? If they've trusted the gospel, the grace of God, and that, and that alone. Because there's a lot of people, man, they got a moralistic, moral way. They're way better than I am. But you know what? They are not saved because they're trusting their works. They're trusting their church attendance. They're trusting the fact that they've been good to their family. They're trusting the fact that they just nice to everybody. And let me tell you something. You get to talking to them and say, when was there a time that you ever stopped trusting anything you could do and you realized you were lost and you were on your way to hell and you're a sinner and you trusted the free grace of God? Well, no, you know, so-and-so said this, and they get a whole list of stuff that they've done. And y'all heard the list a thousand times. I've prayed through. I came down and talked to my pastor one day and all that type of stuff. Got nothing to do with salvation. There's a lot of people that talk to the pastor till they're blue in the face. But let me tell you something, the pastor can't save you. The gospel, the grace of God, when you trust that, that's the only thing that can save you. And you've got to keep that clear and plain. Now this thing with Israel, you know what's going on today? People are mixing up the program. They're going by sight and they're saying, well you know over wars and rumors of wars and famines and earthquakes and all that type of stuff. That's not in our program. Earthquakes have been going on. There's been bad earthquakes all the way down through time and there's going to be some more. There's been wars and there's going to be some more. But our dispensation does not end by trash in the ocean. Our dispensation does not end by a flood. Our dispensation does not end by people being mean to each other or anything that has to do with over there right now. Why? We are waiting and looking for whence the Savior, for whence cometh the Lord Jesus Christ. I know I just quoted that verse wrong. Any day, the body of Christ could be raptured out of here. We're looking for that. But there's no signs to look for, why? Because the last days of the church age, he tells you men are gonna be lovers of their own selves, and covetous, and boasters, and proud, and all these traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. That's trends that you see that the professing body of Christ, they say, well, I'm saying that's how they are believing. Why? They get to where they love their own self more than they love God. So you know what? Yeah, I could say any day now we may be raptured out of here, but I'm not looking at any signs or anything. I'm looking at scriptures, not signs. But you still have no way, I can't be sure. I just know that I'm supposed to look for Jesus every day. That will keep you pure. If you say, hey, today could be the day I get called out of here. Not what's going on over there. So what I'm saying is, it's going to be, I know y'all believe like I do, but it's going to be up to us to keep this in perspective. And you say, well what does this have to do with the study? Just like they were curious about the times and they even said, this time Lord. Well, people are curious about the times. You say, why are they fighting over there? I want to show you something. In Acts chapter 2, in verse number 1, it says, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Now that one accord has to do with oneness. Why? Because here in just a little bit, they're going to get the ability to be able to speak in other tongues, and the Spirit's going to give them utterance. Why? Because y'all remember with the Gentiles in Genesis chapter 11, they got together without the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Lord Jesus Christ had to give them confusion of tongues. Well, this is showing, hey, all the way back in Genesis, the Lord had to confuse the world with those tongues because they were getting together without Him. Now, if you will repent and believe the message that's going to be preached, He has the ability through the Spirit of God to reverse that curse. He can bring the one accord. He can bring the unity. that's so needed according to prophecy. Now, you look at today, and you know what people are wanting? They're wanting peace and stuff like that, and they don't realize something. There is something that's in the Bible that tells you why they're fighting over there, and I wanna show you with the Bible why they're fighting over there. I'm preaching I have a new Bible. If y'all see me swap out, it's just because I can't find things, but I'm gonna try something here. If you will take your Bibles and turn to Ezekiel 25, We're going to go over several scriptures with you. I want you to have a few things that you can kind of tell. Why are they fighting over there? What's the deal? Well, you'll have the scriptures to be able to tell that because biblical unity can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ and it will not come until He comes back at the second coming. and he comes back and he does what Simon Peter preached in Acts chapter number three and fulfills all those prophecies and brings the unity that only he can bring. I'm going to tell you something. There's been some powerful men down through the ages but the old saying is absolute power corrupts absolutely. No mere man can handle too much Power and oftentimes it's a little power struggles here there and yonder and I tell you something else, too I hate to say this but people make money off of wars. There's a lot of money transferred in wars They don't care about the sons and daughters somebody's grandson Somebody's son daughter has to go over there and fight and I tell you something. This is just brother Chase's opinion But I believe anybody that sends somebody to war and signs a declaration of war, better have some skin in the game. They need to have a son or a grandson in that war to make them have some care about it. There's a lot of people that send people over there that do not care whether their children and grandchildren get killed. And there are literal people getting killed in wars. It's not something to play with. It's serious. But now there's a hatred over there. Look at Ezekiel 25, we'll start off here. The Lord says, "'Thus saith the Lord God, because the Philistines have dealt by revenge and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart to destroy it for the old hatred.'" The old hatred. That's a strange thing. The old hatred. You say, where did this old hatred come from? This old hatred you're going to see is linked with Ishmael. And you're going to see a perpetual hatred that has to do with Esau's descendants. And it's over the Abrahamic blessing. I want to give you the old hatred right here. Turn your Bible there. You may want to hold your place over in Ezekiel. We'll come back because I'm going to show you some different connections. Genesis 16, this is the old hatred. You need to know this, and I'm just showing you some of these verses. I know some of y'all. The first time I ever got showed this, I actually had it marked in my old Bible, but a preacher back when Israel was fighting back around 2016, 2017, somewhere along in there, I asked an old preacher this, and he showed me some of this stuff, and I had it marked in a Bible. And I'm sure several other guys know it too, but you need to know these scriptures. Because I asked him, I said, why are they? You know, because every so often it will erupt over there. Why are they fighting so bad over there? And then you have to look this up and see. It's an old hatred. Watch Genesis 16. This is what goes on. I'm just going to step you through the thing right quick. Abraham takes Sarai's handmaid. And because they won't wait on God, God had given them a promise and they didn't wait on God. So he takes Hagar and Abraham and Hagar have a child together and his name is Ishmael. And then Sarai and Hagar get to where they can't get along. And so she casts Hagar out. She starts off Sarai and it's Sarah later. But anyway, casts her out and then the Lord gets to talking to her. And so anyway, he tells her about Ishmael. Watch what it says about Ishmael. In verse number 11 it says, And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael. Because the Lord hath heard thy affliction, and he will be a wild man, and his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him, and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. So he's going to have brethren, and his hatred is going to rub off on them. Now Ishmael, you got to get this now. Over there, there is a land that God blessed Abraham with and God blessed the descendants that come down to the line the right way. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And Isaac is going to end up being the brother of Ishmael. But Isaac came the right way, the way God recognized through Sarah, Abraham's wife. And you know what? The Arabs run their lineage and they say, no, we're the descendants of Abraham. It's a fight over the land. They say the land goes to us. because our dad, our father, our great father is Abraham. And then Israel goes back and they say, no, the land traces back to our father, Abraham. You see, one little fleshly decision has caused a whole lot of trouble over there. But the thing is, they can say what they want to, but the land, not according to Brother Chase or anything else, the land, the deed is in the Bible. The land is Israel's. and they don't have nothing. They can say what they want to, but let me tell you something. They can do all the fighting they want to, but that land is Israel's, and I can tell you, not us or anybody else can do anything about it. You know who's gonna rule over there? The Lord Jesus Christ is gonna rule from that place, so they can fight till, the old saying is, till the chickens come back and eat the corn or whatever they're eating, or Brother Mike, the watermelon rind or whatever, but I can tell you what, they are gonna get that land. Now it's an old hatred that starts here. Now watch this, not only that, but I'm gonna turn over here to, you don't have to turn if you don't want to, because we're gonna go back to Genesis. But in Ezekiel 35 verse five, he says in verse one, I'm gonna start with context, moreover the word of the Lord came unto me saying, son of man, set thy face against Mount Seir. Now Mount Seir runs you back to Genesis 32 verse three, that's Esau. That's why you have to every one of those words. He didn't say just Mount Seir for no reason. He's running. He's saying that so you'll get the reference. You'll go back there and see where Mount Seir is. He says, Mount Seir and prophesy against it and say unto it. Because, see, Esau is Edom. It's a place. He says, Look, you don't have to worry about other nations. One of these days, God will do it. God fights for Israel. Whenever He goes back to dealing with His people, they're going to fight. But I'm going to tell you something, after the rapture of the body of Christ, the Lord will fight for Israel. And I'm going to tell you something, y'all, people that do not read this Bible, they don't have enough respect. When God does something, it's done. You make men mad if you want to, but I'm going to tell you something. You be careful with the Lord and His promises. That land is His. It says this, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. Look, it won't be no question. Men does something, they say, well I wonder if the Lord When the Lord does it, they'll know it. It says, "...because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end." See, one of these days, Israel's iniquity being an end, the end of Daniel's 70th week is in view, and he's saying, hey, y'all are still, even though all that stuff and God was judging them, God's purging them out and all this stuff, and they still, you know what that tells me? This little thing that's going on there, this is not the end. It's gonna be going on long after we're gone. Because it's a old hatred. It's a perpetual hatred. What's that got to do? What word of that? Where did a perpetual hatred begin Genesis 27 verse number 41 is where I'm gonna give you the thing, but if y'all know the story you got Abraham Isaac and Isaac he got older his eyes were dim and you know what he did and he he knew Jacob was supposed to get the blessing He gets he gets his eyes dim and he gets there and Jacob comes in there and you know what Jacob does Jacob disguised himself like Esau and you know what Isaac says you feel like Esau, but you sound like Jacob He went by feelings and not the word You know what? You know what people have been doing ever since and they just like Isaac they get to where their eyes are damn They can't see spiritually and they start going by feelings and they get to see you better go by the Word of God Hey, you know what happens to people are doing today. They go by Look, what's going, I seen it on the TV, and I know this, this, do you know what they say every time? This really is the end. Well, it really was the end back several years ago then too, you know. It really was the end when COVID was going, you know, COVID really was, you know. No, you know what happened? They forget stuff like it had happened before, and it's going to happen again. Let me tell you something, there are going to be sicknesses, Pat. There are going to be scary things going. That's part of living in the sin-cursed earth. But when you see prophecy come in the past, that has to do with their program and with us. We're just waiting on the Lord to come back. We're just living in a crazy world. That's all it is. All right. So Genesis, what happens is he gets deceived. He gives Jacob the blessing, which Jacob is supposed to. Esau gets upset. And watch what happens in verse 41, Esau being upset. And Esau hated Jacob. said it was perpetual hatred. Hated Jacob because of the blessing. See, it had to do with the land. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And Jacob gets the blessing too. And he said, because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him, and Esau said in his heart, the days of mourning for my father are at hand, then will I slay my brother Jacob. Well, people say, well, later on him and Jacob kind of got to be buddies a little bit. Yeah, but his descendants. His descendants hated Jacob. They hated that blessing. They hated the fact that because of the blessing of Jacob, they saw God blessing Jacob and his descendants. And they didn't want to come to God through Israel. They wanted to come to God their own way, so they made their own gods and they made their own righteousness. And people are still doing, the descendants, the Arab descendants are doing it because they say Allah, and you know what they'll do? They'll mention Jesus Christ. They'll mention Jesus, but they put Muhammad the prophet above everybody. They mentioned Jesus. They got another Jesus. And let me tell you something, that is some violent, violent thing. I'm going to tell you something, religion, any religion, not just that one, is very violent. Anytime you get away from the gospel, the grace of God, you get away from the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, it's very violent. And that's... you know what... you read what it said about Ishmael. It said his hand will be... he'll be a wild man, his hand will be against every man. There's all kind of people out there who try to erase that and say, no it really didn't mean that. It said it in the Bible. And it's so. Now I want to show you the connection between Ishmael and the connection between him and Esau. Now Ishmael was Esau's uncle. Yeah, his uncle. Alright, so watch what happens here. Look at Genesis chapter 28, Genesis 28 and verse number 9. So Esau's mad. It says in verse number 9, Then went Esau unto Ishmael. See how they get connected there? Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had, Mahalatha, the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham's son, the sister of Nabajath, to be his wife. You see how now they got connected. And then they get together and watch what they do. Look at this connection, these Palestinians and everybody else that hate them. Look at your connection in 2 Chronicles 21. Hope I'm doing all right in my new Bible here. 2 Chronicles 21. I'm showing you this so y'all have some scriptures. I'm just scratching the surface on this thing. You can go in Psalm 83. There's all kinds of stuff in there. I'm showing you there is what's going on The scripture has answers for it's a old hatred. It's a perpetual hatred and even in our dispensation They still hate them, but I want you to know just because they hate them and they've been fighting They've been fighting way back then and the Bible teaches you read prophecy concerning Israel They're gonna be fighting until the Lord comes back. He's going only he can put it into their fighting So that's why whenever you see things flare up in the news You it gives you an avenue to witness and say man, aren't you glad you ain't living in the prophecy program? They say, what? And that gives you an avenue to say, look, we're living in dispensation of grace of God and I don't have to be concerned about that stuff. And they say, well, what if they were to come over here because it's going to spill over in our nation? Look, all nations there is a drop of the bucket. God's not dealing with nations. And you know what? Our nation should have been spreading the gospel down through the years. And I'm not trying to be hard on y'all. I'm just saying. We've been talking about getting the gospel out and all this type of stuff. You just think about in your lifetime, other than being around church folks, Bible believers and stuff, how many times has somebody given you the gospel or asked you if you saved? In America. You can probably count on your hand how many times somebody said, hey, do you know the Lord Jesus Christ, your personal Savior? Now I have had people ask me if I was water baptized. I've had people ask me stuff like that. Or do you go to church? But see, very rarely do you ever have anybody actually say, are you saved? One time, my mom, she's real good about asking people if they saved, and look, if she was here tonight, she'd tell you this is true. I'm not telling you no whopper now. We were at the trucking company, and mom, a lot of times, she'd just get to talking to this guy, and especially if they started getting off kilter a little bit in their conversation, mom would say, well, now, are you a saved man? And this guy got to getting a little bit off in this conversation a little bit. Mama just looked up there, and what's so funny, she's looking up, this big old guy, and she said, now you a saved man, this big old guy said. He was processing it. And we were standing there and he could look out the window and see this, there was a blue Peterbilt out there in the shop, and he looked out there and said, that sure is a nice truck. And mama looked at me and went, but at least I tell you what, he didn't say anything bad anymore. But people just, people, we're not witnessing, you know what happens? As a country gets more and more lost people in it, lost people do what lost people do. And do you know what sin leads for? Lust bringeth forth sin. Sin bringeth forth death. Sin eventually causes people to kill. You know what people do? They follow the devil. The devil steals, kills, and destroys. And y'all, you know, people blame all this stuff and everything else, but I'm telling you something. We're living in an evil world. And the only way to escape this present evil world is through the gospel of the grace of God. And if you get that straight, it'll help you. Look at 2 Chronicles 21, look at verse number 16, and I'm back up verse number eight. It says, moreover, the Lord stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, watch this, who are the Philistines connected with, and of the Arabians that were near the Ethiopians. Now you got the Philistines or the Arabians, and here they are, They're connected there with Edom. Look at verse 8. In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah and made themselves a king. Now you see how now you got the Philistines, the Arabians. That perpetual hatred, that old hatred, has gotten in with these other people that are all kin. And you know what they do? They all hate Israel because of Abraham's blessing. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And God blessed them. God blessed that land. And you know what? Every single one of them want that land. And you say, why would they want that land? Because lost people operate by the spirit of the devil and the devil wants that land because he wants to sit on the side of the north. He wants to rule and he wants to set up a counterfeit rule. And now that jumps over into what's going on today. People are confused as concerning. Look at 2 Thessalonians 2. 2 Thessalonians 2. People get this stuff, concern, you say, is this anything new? All the way back in Paul's day, people were, they were confused about the same thing that people are confused about today. The Apostle Paul had the right, correcting the same thing that people, you know what people say, the Lord's gonna come back, the Lord's gonna come back. He's gonna come back, but the thing is, you gotta understand something, he's coming for us. because our place is heavenly places. And he's gonna come up and take us because we're gonna go through the judgment seat of Christ and we're gonna take our places up there in those heavenly places because all the fallen angels and everything right now, their principalities and powers in high places. Well, midway through the tribulation period, the Lord's going to have Mike on them. They're going to kick them out of there and we're going to take up that residence. And at the end of that tribulation, the Lord comes back and He puts down all rule and all authority. And the Bible said He's going to be King of kings and Lord of lords. Because there's going to be a bunch of kings and He's going to be over. And y'all, I'll tell you something, he's the only one that's going to fix it. So, we're just going to go through this kind of briefly. With the whole thing, you realize, and I'm trying not to lose my place in Acts 2, say, what's the relevance? We're reading Acts chapter 2 and they're in Israel's last days. The apostle Peter stands up there and he's preaching. This is that which was prophesied by the prophet Joel and the feast of Pentecost, it said it was fully come just like the rest of those feast days were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The day of Pentecost was starting. It was fully come. Prophecy's starting to be fulfilled. But guess what happened? Because they rejected. The Lord put a pause on that thing. And He'll pick back up later. So you've got to understand, whenever you're reading this thing, Israel's last days is not in view. So guess what? What's going on with Israel right now? Because our program's going on. You can't have two. Our program's going on until we're out of here. He can't pick back up, so you can't let any of that stuff bother you. You can't let that trip you up like the world right now. I'll tell you something, these people that watch YouTube and all this stuff, I don't know how the access, how they do that stuff. I'm not very smart on that anyway. If you don't judge it by the Bible like y'all do, there are a lot of people who get confused on this, y'all, and they need help. They need these verses. 2 Thessalonians 2 says, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him. Now what's that our gathering together? Man, look how easy this is. I want to make this very simple. He said our gathering. Turn back one page, probably in your Bible, 1 Thessalonians 4. He had previously written to the Thessalonians making sure they knew about a mystery that no one else knew in prophecy. The rapture of the body of Christ was not known in prophecy. So he had to show them a mystery. And he said, this is our gathering right here. First Thessalonians 4, look at verse 14. together. See there's your gathering. Together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord and they're associated wherever it be with the Lord. They had confused that gathering with this gathering. Watch Matthew 24 while you're turning there. He's having to correct this because see what's happening back in his day? There were false teachers coming in, some of them by spirit, with false spirit. Some of them by word, and they'd just tell them by word. And some of them by false letters as from the Apostle Paul. And they were writing these things saying, hey, you're going to go through the tribulation. and you're gonna see the man of sin, and you're gonna see all this stuff?" And he said, no. He wrote 2 Thessalonians to show, look, all that stuff is going on to people who are going through that time, and he's having to correct them concerning that and say, look, I told you that you're gonna be gathered together in the clouds, not this gathering that has to do with prophecy, because we're not part of that program. Matthew 24 and verse number 31, This is the gathering that they were confusing them on, and that's the same stuff that goes on today. I mean the exact same. Look at the context. Immediately in verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, Now you know that it was starting in Acts 2 because here's Peter preaching the prophecy concerning Joel chapter 2. And he said, hey, the sun's going to be darkened and the moon's going to be turned to blood. And he said, man, all that stuff's going to happen. But God put it on pause because they rejected the message. It says, "...and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory, and he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to another." That has to do with the second coming. Look at verse 39. It's the second coming, not for the body of Christ, but He's coming to the earth. Verse 39 says, And knew not, until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Even verse 44 says, Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh. Now, Israel is on a time scale. We are not on a time scale. Israel's time scale is Daniel's 70th week. And that's why all through there they said they was talking about the time and all that type of stuff because they know according to their scriptures that if they would analyze those scriptures, they can get real close to when he's coming. So you know why people try to guess the time and all that type of stuff? Because they're looking at feast days and all that stuff always wrong. Why? Because it's the wrong program. That's how come the wise men knew around about when the Messiah was going to be born. Why? They were reading Jeremiah and they were reading Daniel and they were reading the prophet. Over there I think it was Numbers talking about a star that shall come out of Judah and all that type of stuff. They were reading all that stuff. That's like Daniel. When Daniel said, hey, I know the captivity is almost over, while he was reading Jeremiah, and by reading the book of Jeremiah, he was able to figure out, hey, our captivity is almost over. So he started praying the prayer, Israel's national prayer, confessing his sins, because that's what they were supposed to pray in Leviticus 26 verse 40. He said, hey, we have sinned. We have done all these things. And you know what? They are supposed to do the same thing. They're supposed to repent as a nation. You know what happened in early Acts? They didn't repent as a nation. All the leaders were present whenever Stephen preached that message, and they stoned him. They're on a time scale, and if they're studying their scriptures, they can get real close and say, look, the sun and the moon's darkened. The Lord's about to come back. But for us, We don't have anything to look at. All this stuff don't have anything to do with our program. It's just part of what goes on in the evil world. They've been fighting. They're gonna keep fighting. You know what we do? We keep pointing people to the gospel, the grace of God. We keep giving out Bibles. We keep giving out tracts. We keep edifying the saints and edifying each other and reading our Bibles and studying and applying it to our life daily. And then we hope and pray that people get saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. and one day the Lord will come and get us out of here either by clouds or clods. And look, I'm gonna see the Lord either way. We'll pass out of here and man, I'll be out of here and we'll be up there with the Lord. And it'll be wonderful. But y'all, you gotta keep that on your mind. I know I'm running out of time, but I think those things will help you. Just having some of those verses just to know where you are in your program And what's going on? Because there are so many people in this world, they need help. They need to know simple things like that we know. Whenever you're saved, you're sealed, little stuff like that. And then that way you can take your Bible and whenever they say, well what about this verse over here? I don't know about this. You say, okay, well you're over here in the Gospels, you need to get over here and pile down epistles because in the Gospels you can tell them where that prophecy is being fulfilled and the Lord Jesus Christ is coming saying the kingdom is at hand and you can go through all those things and anything that's in there It's for your learning, but if it contradicts your mail for today, guess what? You can just tell them that's just not for you doctrinally, and you just learn from it. So I hope that was kind of a help. I know we took a little time with that, but I thought that would probably help out with some of the stuff when you're witnessing the people with all this going on.
