You constantly confirm my initial suspicions I had about you: you're here ONLY to establish how absurd a poster can be. It's either that, or you're truly a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool whacko!
With the above "28,000 pastors" quotation of yours, you have pushed the envelope of absurdity to its limit.
You really do need our prayers.
I believe this was published by Sermon Audio as one of its news stories.

It is a fact. Do you ever Google stuff, or you just like to ricicule people when you hear something new you haven't heard before?

Are you also aware that the military, in full artillery, bulletproof vests, are being placed in cities to get people used to marshal law, to seeing armed soldiers in our towns and cities? Alex Jones reports on his show yesterday and today Marines armed, w/ Humvees with big guns on them, parked in front of Toys R Us in Austin, TX, passing out toys. Nice PR stunt that gullible people in denial will fall for.

So sad to see the reaction of people like you who refuse to open your eyes.

Pastors are paid to read, study, to be up on what's happening, and to keep their people who are busy supporting their families up to speed, equipped to deal with life in a way that will keep them from pitfalls and make them effective witnesses and keep them salty.

In my experience, not only do the pastors not know their Bibles, knowing only what they were told in seminary, but they don't know how to apply the stuff they were spoonfed either. They rely on each other for warmed over sermons and offer platitudes to their people that makes them victims of the culture and lacking in saltiness.

The church is a racket, just as medicine, education, media, agriculture, you name it. Further, many 501c3 pastors are outright agents of Satan's system, having signed contracts with the government agreeing to preach only the party line.

28,000 pastors, at least, have signed up with Homeland Security to help round up Christians during marshal law per Romans 13.

Very sad situation we have, but it explains a lot of the apathy, or prejudiced and hateful attitude of Christians, support of torture and unprovoked war.

Malachi 1:6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

And I suppose that your personal attack is within SA forum policy.

Integrity?

It depends if you are a Calvinist or not.

The scriptures lay down specific qualifications, all of which must be met. Pre-eminently, before we even consider soundness of doctrine, ability to teach, etc (which we must in turn look at) we must look at personal godliness.

I hate the double-minded,
But I love Your law.
You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word.
Depart from me, you evildoers,
For I will keep the commandments of my God!
Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;
And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
And I shall observe Your statutes continually.
You reject all those who stray from Your statutes,
For their deceit is falsehood.
You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross;
Therefore I love Your testimonies.
My flesh trembles for fear of You,
And I am afraid of Your judgments.

Amen to that, Lurker! As I've said before in other threads on this site to people who make it their life goal to criticize the work of others -- go do something great for God then! So Yamil, if you don't like this site so much, start your own! What's stopping you?

Yamil,

Yesterday my nephew (one of four nieces and nephews; all very dear to me) had emergency surgery to remove a ruptured disc in his lower back. Early yesterday morning (5:30 AM) his legs just quit working with no warning other than a severe lower backache. The doctor indicated after surgury that sensation and full use of his legs should return by this morning. I learned early this morning that no sensation or feeling had returned and they now concede that my nephew will likely be paralyzed from the waist down. He is forty years old, raised in a disfunctional family, single and without the love of God in his heart.

If your complaint in your linked post below is the most troubling thing in your life at the moment then I'd suggest you get on your knees and give God praise and thanks on this Thanksgiving Day as there are people all over the world with real problems.

God bless you, Dessie.

2 Timothy 4:1-5; that is what I want and yes he is a Calvinist! Or better
saying might be, he believes in a
Sovereign God and teaches the TRUTHS
of God's Holy WORD... God is in
Control; it seems that only HIS elect
believe this...

I agree. Behavior is a consequence of faith, and faith is assent to the truth [sound doctrine]. If a pastor does not teach sound doctrine, it is because he does not believe sound doctrine, and he will only live by improvisation before the flock. Like a corpse with Revlon makeup, he will only have the appearance of being alive. Regardless of the measure of makeup, a corpse eventually begins to stink. Then you need hats, robes, incense, pictures, relics, and idols to hide the corpse.

I want to be ministered to by a man called by God to his position in the church. Someone who loves Jesus and seeks to know and follow Truth in God's Word, and then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit in his life, humbly and fearfully lead the flock, having always as his ultimate goal to glorify God.

"Some of your quiz questions and answers are "off the wall".

Which ones, Abigail?

You said,
"I don't think you know the difference in the intellect and the Spirit."

I know how to read the English language and how to define the uncomplicated words of the Scripture. For instance, I know what the simple term "firstborn" means. I even know what "predestinate" means.

You said,
"You have no discernment of spiritual matters and are trying to understand the Word of God with your intellectual abilities."

Are you suggesting there is a non-intellectual means to understand words? Have you become a Calv?

You,

"Some day you are going to find out that you do not know everything there is to know."

Your post made me realize that. That is the reason for the questions.
