Yeah, that can be a problem. I actually read that post thinking "prince of darkness." Vampire never entered my mind.

I guess vampires are the rage with the movies out (and books) depicting them as desirable. Sounds like Genesis 6 to me. "As it was in the days of Noah. . ."

Sorry Me,

Yes there are here HHO's who are the hot-headed-ones, KIA's who are the know-it-alls, PCT's who are the paranoid-conspiracy-theorists, the HCF's who are the hyper-calvinistic-fatalists, and more recently the OOT's who are the order-of-turnips.

You'll be fine, just speak your own mind and don't be fazed if some are nasty to you. Pray for them, and wish them well.

Mulled carrot juice, way to go!

Glad to see you so happy, Oh deep joy to know Jesus as Redeemer.

Shame about the windscreen. I suppose being a Skoda the insurance wrote it off, eh? Towny Terrorists. Enough to make you want to buy a tank. Try breaking the windscreen on that, yer little varmints.

Wishing you well in the new year, dear bro, and hope you find some good fellowship in Scottyland. If you see Arthur, ask him to give me a bell.

"Wayneuk"
I thought for a minute there you were a scotsman on the "way" who got stuck in a wee corner (nook).
You see "neuk" is the Scots for "nook". says Wee Scots Laddie.

There is some truth in what you say ...I was indeed on the 'way' but rather as a Geordie Lad to live in Scotland when a house move fell through, so I was stuck in my temp abode which was fun apart from some local terroists (townies) who bricked the windscreen when I was asleep . Many moons later I am nearly there (Scotland) God willing early 2009!

It's obviously an open forum or there would not be such a sharp difference of opinion freely given. Your views are in the majority, so I'm sure you will be welcome here -- unlike me. We don't have to agree here, but it would be nice if you would use reason to make your points, not call me a vampire because you don't agree with my opinions.

This is truly an open forum for discussion. It is not for a select group, and it is no intrusion for you to join in. I do welcome you myself, even if your point of view, or interpretation of the Bible, is quite different to my own.

Take no notice of the HHO's and the KIA's, they are everywhere. Just put your points, and if you are right on anything, it may just help someone. See.

John UK wrote:
But I need to know one thing from you. Do you believe that God's covenant with man, from the beginning to the ending, is one covenant called the covenant of grace. So that if any individual from beginning to end of the world desires to be right with God, it must be accepted by God's grace, not earned in any way.
Do you believe that the blood through which Abraham was saved was the blood of Jesus Christ?
Of course, and you must believe that also having worded it so beautifully. Reading from Genesis to Revelation, how could there be any other interpretation?

And, of course, you made mention in a previous post, the shadows and types in the O.T.

How can one understand phrases like "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world" unless one understands the O.T. sacrifices?

Everything has been summed up in Jesus - His sinless life - His sacrificial death on the cross for the sins of His people - His ministry as our High Priest - ever living to make intercession for us. His Kingdom come - His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Now, may I ask you a quesion?

Is this truly an open forum for discussion, or is it only for a select group? I really don't want to intrude where I don't belong.
