Rev. Orrie Oosthuizen

Rev. Oosthuizen was born and grew up in South Africa where he also studied and was ordained as a minister of God's Word. Having grown up in a Christian home, he can not recall a time when he has not served the LORD or believed in Him. At the age of 13, the Holy Spirit imprinted the weight of what it means to be saved on his heart and he has since, by the grace of God, attempted to live a life of grateful obedience and thanksgiving. He was called to ministry at age 17 and took the Jonah-inspired "long-way" to getting there being ordained at age 33.
Along with his wife, Elaine, and 3 kids, he followed a call to Montana, USA in 2024 to pastor the Covenant Reformed Church-plant in the Gallatin Valley.
He enjoys laughing, cooking, shooting, hunting, and camping. He eagerly reads and reluctantly writes enjoying ecclesiology and church polity.
He works hard at being a thankful servant of the LORD, a good husband to his wife, a covenantal father to his children, and a faithful and loving pastor to the flock entrusted in his care. He covets your prayers to those ends.
