My Prayer is that there will be Hunger for the Truth and that the Lord will open up doors of opportunity for me to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Tift Area Community and that I'll have the discernment to recognize those open doors and have the courage to speak as boldly as I ought to so our Lord may be Glorified in All Things.
Around Town:
In addition to the church's two weekly bible studies, I lead multiple bible studies throughout the week some with individuals and some with groups like my coffee shop bible study on Tuesday Mornings at 6:30 AM at Espresso 41 and Wednesdays at Noon with the employees of the Bennett Family of Companies via a Video Conference Call.
If you are interested in starting a new bible study, call or text my cell at (678) 920-8045.
You'll also likely find me at the YMCA's fields coaching several soccer teams. Since moving to Tifton in 2020, I've coached more than 20 teams.
My Testimony:
Though I regularly attended services at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Newborn, GA since my baptism in 2000, I allowed the cares of this world and the pursuit of earthly riches to become my primary motivation in life. In 2017, while practicing law as a corporate attorney for the Bennett Family of Companies, a trucking company in McDonough, GA, the Lord began to work on me through a series of tests and trials. After being convicted that I had not been standing fast for God's Word, I began a deliberate effort to reexamine every aspect of my life in the light of God's Word and then made changes accordingly. Shortly thereafter, the Lord began to burden me with a desire to share with others what I was reading and learning. After exercising for two years, Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church called me to be their Pastor and for my ordination. I was ordained to the full work of the Ministry on September 7, 2019 by Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church. After commuting to Tifton for a year from McDonough while continuing to work as a bi-vocational pastor, the Lord opened the door in March of 2020 for us to relocate to Tifton. The Lord later saw fit to retire me from being a full time attorney in October of 2020, I have served Fair Haven as a Full Time Pastor though I still maintain my legal license.
