PRESENT
John currently serves as the Senior Pastor and church planter of Good News Bible Church (GoodNewsBC.com) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is also the founder, CEO, and lead trainer at LearnLogos.com, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers in Bible study and sermon preparation through Logos Bible Software.
BACKGROUND
Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, John now lives in Green Bay, WI. In 1995, he experienced a radical transformation through Jesus Christ, who delivered him from addiction to drugs and alcohol.
EDUCATION
John began his journey of studying Scripture through Precept Ministries, where he learned inductive Bible study. Seeking further training, he earned his Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. In May 2025, he completed a PhD in Preaching and Apologetics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He also holds both a Master of Theology (ThM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
PURPOSE
Pastor John is deeply passionate about knowing God and His Word, and about equipping the saints to study, apply, and live out the Scriptures for a transformed life in Christ.
