Great Sermon! Pastor Tim delivers an excellent unfolding of living as a redeemed person and not living to strive to be! Christ's blood alone, the price of our salvation and freedom! Thank you Pastor Tim!
Magnificent and Powerful This is a deeply moving and very insightful message on the Canaanite woman's great faith. Tim explains why Jesus acted in the unexpected way he did with her. By doing so Jesus had a higher purpose -- to train his disciples and us in the nature of great faith, and to expose the disciples' indifference to those in great need. I hope everyone will share this magnificent message with others!
As a man thinketh, so he is. You are what you eat, true, and more true you are what you think. Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose thoughts are stayed on thee - Isaiah. Thank you Brother for the message. Taking every thought captive is the where the battle is won(or lost). It is a fight but a fight worth fighting. I do find that the fight can get easier by taking every thought captive in 2 ways 1) Quantity you will have less bad thoughts to renounce 2) Quality you will have more lovely thoughts to embrace. This will give rise to that perfect peace referred to in Isaiah and the comfort of the Holy Spirit refered to in the Book of Acts. Wonderful peace and wonderful comfort both from the Wonderful Counselor!
Great Sermon! ~~ After completing Tim Bourgeois's series on Daniel...(and loving every sermon),I look forward to starting my study in Ephesians with this great teacher!
Thank you for your clear and patient teachings of the Word.
Great Sermon! Greetings Clint,
Hope you and your family are doing well. Just wanted to see if I could get your updated contact info and would like to email or give you a ring. Look forward to hearing from you.
Swifter than eagles! Stronger than lions! Tim focuses on the final chapter of Saul's rebellion against God and his last ditch stand on Mount Gilboa against the Phillistines. The leassons from Saul's life written in blood and David's lament still speak to us across the ages if we will only listen and heed.
Totally Awesome!!!!!!!!!! Tim in this awesome and insightful sermon focuses our attention on the hope of a new resurrection body, and amazing hints in God's word of what that body will be like. This hope should stir us to work harder for God according to the apostle Paul. Tim explains this and more in a sermon that absolutely should not be missed. Please listen and share this sermon with others!
Great Sermon! This is a very good serious. I found them to be very clear and informative. i have certainly benifited from this series, while admiting that I did not contain all that was discussed but over all this was excellent
Great Grappling! I am very blessed to hear this right before I sleep. I plan on a "grappling sleep" with God and already looking forward to new mercies in the morning! God Blessings are upon you David and the wisdom of God in this insightful teaching! Thank you for you faithfulness to do it.
A Masterful Call to Arms! In this masterful sermon, Tim Bourgeois reminds us of Paul's exhortation to be ready for battle in Ephesians 6. Tim then explains what Paul meant by “the flaming arrows” of the enemy, discusses the crafty stratagems of our enemy, and illustrates how to use effectively the weapon God has given us.
Excellent distinctions While I have some quibbles with this sermon, it is an excellent exposition of the distinctions between betrothal and 'engagement'; contrasting the Biblical nature of the first with the modern wimpiness of the second. And then illustrating this with the example of Christ himself.
Extremely Important--Will Save Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this timely and superb sermon Tim Bourgeois provides a biblical foundation to explain why this financial crisis is unfolding and then 7 biblical principles to help all of us respond in a way pleasing to God. This sermon needs to be shared with many others, and I would urge all those who listen to it to speak out in their churches.
Two points I would like to add: First, this crisis unfolded because our society has ignored God's warnings of the danger of debt and tragically many churches have been complicit in their tolerance of the credit industry and their usurious practices that have enslaved an entire generation.
Second, the waning biblical influence has led to a cultural/business shift from a willingness to work hard and manufacture products to serve others to now a desire for quick and easy money through financial speculation which now accounts for 20-30% of America's GDP.
Past empires (Spanish, Dutch, and British) followed a similar pattern and America's future is dire unless we repent before our God. It is time to study the lessons of history and to immerse ourselves in God's word, and then to fight with all our might to help others and to advance God's kingdom.
