Great Sermon! Brother Gary,
If I could remove my previous comment I would. After further contemplation, I realize I 'jumped the gun'. I retract my previous comment and now understand your message.
God's blessings be upon you and your ministry
Bill, It’s been a long time since I’ve spoken with you. I’m at home under the weather this Lord’s day and was viewing our worship service on line when I noticed the link to your site and worship. I will be in prayer for you and your family. My wife Julie died from cancer three and a half years ago. Her growth in grace her last years was so comforting and encouraging to me. She held on to the Great hope of the Gopsel which is really God in Christ holding on to us. He will most definitely hold on to you and your family with His great love and affection for His own. I appreciate the message from Colossians And have always benefited from the ministry that our faithful Heavenly Father gives us through your preaching. I pray our Lord Jesus gives you continual grace and perseverance each and every day till will meet him ourselves... He is able!
Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Bill, for this excellent sermon. Very encouraging and truthful. So happy to know, our everything depends upon Christ and the blood of His cross. Have placed it in Facebook for many to hear.
Love in Christ, English Rose and George
Great Sermon! this was somewhat confusing. God doesn't see the sins of His people...okay, BUT, the bible commands us to mortify our members - Col. 3:5. Let's not overlook that, as well as Galatians 5 where we are commanded to walk in the Spirit and NOT according to the flesh. So if your preacher tells you to do this, he is being biblical and faithful to the word of God.
Excellent Study! The equivalent of righteousness is the death of Christ. That is the most concise explanation I have heard that explains why we don't have any righteousness of our own. It's only through the merit of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Bill, for this clear teaching sermon, on Romans 4 v. 23-25, which has so encouraged us. It has also been placed in Facebook that others maybe blessed. Love in Christ, Rose and George Fenton
Great Sermon! I agree with you 100%, however I think it is Ok to say I have given my life over to Chris because He has saved me, and this fact is evident because He has turned my life around. Internal conditions are not always evidenced outside but behaviour changes are. As long as the person is not putting faith in any-thing but Christ...
