Great Sermon! What a blessing this message from God's holy word has been to me. You are the only preacher that I have ever heard preach on this subject. I thank God Almighty for Him leading me to your web site on SermonAudio. I will be preaching in Louisiana about a hundred miles south of you in Oakdale in a couple of weeks. Wish I had time to stop by and visit with you. God bless.
Great Sermon! Great teaching.
I used to tell others Christ "made salvation possible." I was in error. I is clear now and in this teaching that Christ ACCOMPLISHED redemption alone.
Thank you pastor. Praise God for his blessing
Great Sermon! Thanks for the message, Richard! Yes, it astounds me that false religion would take doubt as a sign of conversion. Thankful that I have been delivered from condemnation of introspective assurance only by the previous death of our LORD. Nothing less and nothing MORE. AMEN
Talent! I have known men in business that have a talent to completely convey an idea in a minimal amount of words. But this brother has a God given ability to express so much truth in so few words that I am amazed. Too much here to just listen one time.
Great Sermon! Brother Richard
What a joy and blessing to hear the blessed Truth of the Sovereign Grace of our God in the election of His people. False 'gospels' of all sorts are so commonplace, having some truth but denying the completed work of our Lord and Savior on the cross in the salvation of the elect. I thank you for boldly preaching the solid truth of the Word of God. May God bless you as you labor in His Vineyard..........
This is a new way for me to look at the Psalms This pastor drew me in by preaching about his revelation that he had been pursuing works righteousness, but Christ used this sermon to show me that it's not I who should feel blessed for being like the good person talked about in Psalms, I should rejoice in the fact that Christ is that good person the Psalms is talking about. Only Christ could fit the righteousness that the type of person the Psalms says is blessed and favored of God.
I no longer read it as a checklist or way of gauging my standing before God. My standing is and always will be (without Christ), "Filthy rags".
