“ Thank You ”
Dear Duane, Thank you for narrating these great sermons. Especially during this dreadful time...Perilous times indeed. I find the majority of these modern preachers are so shallow and mostly false. "A web of falseness" It is everywhere! Again...Thank you and may our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be with you and keep you always...J. Proverbs 1:33. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

You are welcome, Les. I know this isn't a popular topic, but I believe the entire counsel of God must be preached.

“ Great Sermon!s ”
I have been a Christian for almost 3 years now. I was 17 when I was regeneration and between my time as a Christian I never heard such amazing sermons in till I came across Puritan and reformed books these sermons have made me grow in my relationship with the savior and examine myself. God has Used this in my life I also like using the KJV so I couldn't have ask for anything better. Thank you for your service in the Military this Ministry is a blessing.

I’ll be praying for you. Rest in the fact that God is Sovereign! All we
can do is plant and water. If there is to be any increase it will come
from the Lord. We all get discouraged from time to time, even the great
prophet Elijah had an episode of it. We just have to keep running that
race. I appreciate your efforts in witnessing to others, and more
importantly, the Lord is pleased.

Joshua, Thank you for your comment. I stand by what I preach with no regrets as to how it is taken by the listener. You are entitled to you opinion. Good day to you.

“ A little ascerbic but maybe justified. ”
This has also bothered me. Thanks for taking it head on. But you missed something significant in Deuteronomy. The tithe was used for a family celebration in Jerusalem (inviting the widow, orphan, and Levite). It only went to the storehouses on the third year. And, scandalously, a man was permitted to sell his tithe and buy strong drink (or whatever their heart desired) if Jerusalem was too far.

Thank you, Wayne. It is appreciated.

I'm not retiring from reading and recording,
but until my health gets better, I have to
take this break.

I have tried in the past to take breaks, as
the service of Our Lord does invite intense
spiritual battles in many forms; ie, we get
beat pretty good as a result of our service.

But, as with mortification of the deeds of
the body continues... the weaker we become
physically.

My wife and I were talking about this very
thing this evening. Taking the assault on
our bodies; plus having to deal with this
wicked generation (that in and of itself is
a very long series of sermons), it just
makes it really hard to keep in the right
spirit that is vital to proper ministry.

I've not been the one given to work for
work's sake if I'm troubled in my spirit. It
makes it a job then rather than a joy.

Too much attention is paid to the
formalities of religion and the scope of our
duty instead of why our message is so vital
to our running a successful race, that we
lose the essence of the Gospel message.

We in effect, become Pharisees, of a sort.

Thank you again for your words of
encouragement, Wayne.

May the Lord bless and preserve you and
yours.

DAL

I appreciate the work that you’ve done. I’ve listened to some of the
sermons and read your blog. You might not get many thanks, but
Jesus knows our work. Keep doing what you're able to do. Elijah and
Jonah got discouraged and wanted to give up, but God wouldn’t allow
it. In fact, we all get discouraged from time to time at what we see in
this world. Nevertheless, we must continue to plant and water and
God will give the increase as it pleases Him.
