I am so sick of the uninformed argument which says, "If men make choices then Calvinism can't be true," or, "Since I was seeking God, Total Depravity must be false."
I got the feeling that your "official" opponent (not the pseudo-moderator) figured out fairly quickly that he was in over his head and tried not to say very much once that realization hit him.

“ Great Sermon! ” Beautiful sermon dealing with one important aspect of Calvary. Why is was dark for 3 hours when Christ underwent the wrath of God. "No human eye could see; no human witness could testify, no human pen could record" what went on when God caused darkness to descend upon the cross. All humanity stopped what they were doing as God focused attention on what He was doing on Calvary. Thank God we will never know that darkness for in heaven there is no darkness.
“ Great Sermon! ” It is a real pity that there are not more sermons by this preacher on sermon audio. Listen to this sermon. Prof. Engelsma explains Christ's agony in the Garden of Gethsemane in such a way that the child of God will be deeply humbled and God is glorified. He treats the subject with passion and reverence as we tread on holy ground. As Prof. Engelsma rightly says, "Let every doctor be still in explaining this bloody sweat; let no psychologist open his mouth to try to explain that. Only theology explains this wonder of the bloody sweat of Jesus in Gethsemane." Christ is a perfect Saviour who saves us without our help or co-operation.
“ Great Sermon! ” Very good sermon. It was especially good since the preacher is a student in the seminary. The subject was a controversial one and the delivery was very clear. It makes you tremble before God to hear it; and also rejoice for His great mercy
“ Very Challenging Message ” Very challenging sermon. I would recommend this preacher and his sermons. Self-denial is something that many need to learn in a self-indulgent society.
