Excellent This sermon abounds in wholesome, practical and humbling perceptions.
It is interesting to observe how the sins of people in positions of responsibility in the congregation needed a more 'stern' mode of atonement, showing the greater implications/consequences of the leader's sins. Worth pondering how this may relate to the church about in our day!
It is significant also how this offering implies the identification with Christ outside the camp by the call to a life separated unto him as inferred in Heb. 13:11-15
The teaching comes in the frame of a passionate, instructive, earnest, strengthening, and diligent ministry. Much blessing received.
Great Sermon! A very challenging sermon. I listened to it twice in order to glean further blessing and benefit. Armen, may God bless your courage and answer your prayers for blessing in our generation.
Great Sermon! Hi Armen; I was very much blessed by this sermon. This is probably not the best way to communicate, but I don't know how to contact you in a more personal way. I had been in a back slidden way for quite a few years. My testimony is very long and this is probably not the time or place to share it. God in His mercy has restored my first love. I have returned to church and bible study on a regular basis; the reason I am contacting you is to share my uncertainty of praying aloud in bible study/prayer meetings. I never felt comfortable with this aspect of worship. I listen to everyone's prayer and respond to most prayer requests from others with an amen; but I can't bring myself to repeating everything (sometimes 3-4 times.) again repeatedly. In other words I feel uncomfortable. I pray in my closet without any hesitation. A lot of my prayer is very personal.
I would love to share my testimony with you. And would really appreciate your prayers. You are the first person out of Paddy and Roger to post your Sunday services on sermon audio and I always look forward to Monday morning.
It is a blessing to have Paddy here for a few weeks, we are feeding on the finest of the meat. Look forward to keeping in touch . Love to Mel and your beautiful daughter. Jen
Great Sermon! Armen; thank God and you for this Word. So much of this message touched many areas in my life and I am so grateful to God for His love and mercy. It's OK I still go to church; but you are a regular voice to be heard at least twice in a week. I was hanging to hear more of this message, but I guess I'll have to wait until next week! Give my love to Mel; I miss you both greatly. I will continue to pray for you both and for the extended growth of your work over ther in Canada. God bless you greatly. Christian love Jenny.
Excellent Thank you for this diligent exposition of the passage. It was a pleasure to view this sermon on the church site. Very healthy and useful insights provided. Yes, churches can run as a business, yet the authentic blessing will not be there! This was very enriching: ‚ÄėGod always will finance His will‚Äô, and ‚Äėrecession does not touch the church that knows the will of God‚Äô. Very beneficial with a very godly focus. Thank you and may God bless you, brother Armen.
Great Sermon! Substantial, sound, enjoyable and profound exposition. The following statements taken from the sermon seem outstanding: "By humility comes wisdom; By submission you get understanding" Thank you
To Mac No doubt I lack knowledge and experience, but I would caution against going down the road of trying to pry into the secret counsel of the Almighty in these events, especially when interpreting them through third party information such as the media. Not that I doubt the possibility of what you suggest, but I don't want to go there and I don't believe we need to. Luke 13:1-5 would be important to bear in mind.
Great Sermon! Should we not see that God is using terrorists as a rod of correction? The theatre attenders were glorifying Satan and singing about death. God gave them up to destruction. The workers at the satirical magazine, at the previous attack, had mocked Mohammed, but don't forget that they had mocked God for years! Lack of knowledge and experience will hinder comparing Scripture with Scripture and not interpreting verses in isolation.
