“ Great man of God. ” Excellent message about a great man of God: reformer in the church and society. Interesting his involvement in culture, education, politics and the Christian response given to these areas. Christ is Lord over all the aspects of life.
“ Learning from God. ” Two short chapel messages, from Acts 17 and 1 Corinthians 1. The Christians were taught of God to have other theology of creation, other soteriology and eschatology than the Greek philosophy. And we must testify to the world about our faith, with humility and courage.
“ Great protection. ” Narrative sermon: the God of the covenant bringing His people out of Egypt and into Canaan. Satan's opposition to this and in the life of Jesus and Joshua the High Priest.
“ Cultural mandate. ” A plea for Christians to fulfill our cultural mandate, to work for a Christian culture. Christians must be engaged in education, in schools, or else the culture will be from the wicked one.

“ Great lessons. ” Very useful lessons from the lives of the Erskines and the 4 controversies in which they were involved. Some sad lessons also. Rich material.
“ Timely warning. ” A message about the danger of having a mind full of Calvinism, with the heart untouched of these truths. Of having no concern for the lost, no burden for missions. A Calvinism without the passion for souls as Brainerd and Carey had. Timely warning.
“ Great darkness. ” In times of depression we loose sight of every hope, every blessing we had or we will have from God, we can feels only the pain of the knife in the wound and our only wish is to escape from it, maybe in death. There are moments of utter powerlessness, we are down physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Only a sight of God can bring us out of this condition.
“ How to evangelize. ” Starting point of the message is Mark 5:18-20. A plea to renounce to the obsession of methods and points in evangelism. We must live a saintly life and we will do evangelism. Rich message. Many personal examples from the preachers life. Very useful message.
“ Is God still good? ” Job between the temptations of Satan (the temptations continue through the speeches of the 3 friends) and God, who permits suffering in his life for a greater end (to know God better). We must love God for what He is, not for what He gives us. The lecture has 41 minutes, the rest is time for Q&A.
“ Go on! ” We have the truth and the salvation that the philosophers of this world did not have, that the people without God did not have. So we must stand fast and serve the Lord trusting in Him.
