Well said! I love the clarity of this speaker's preaching. This sermon is an encouragement to new believers and mature believers alike. It is well worth a second listen!
Great Sermon! Thank you, Dr. Berg for again allowing God to use you to speak His truth out of the abundance of the work He's done in your own heart! It is again just what my weary, overwhelmed and distracted heart needed! God bless you!
Bible the authority. It is true that if you believe all the Bible you can be only a fundamentalism. Regarding the choosing of Bible versions, there are Bible translations made by liberals who prefer few manuscripts which cut from the Word of God what they do not like. This is not an external argument, because texts as Rev. 22:19 speaks against this kind of versions. So, yes, we must be dedicated to the Bible only as sole authority, but the question is: To which Bible? To the faithful versions or to those which cut from the Word of God? And I think this is not a column 3 problem, but a fundamental one.
Great Sermon! I am fortunate to have met and heard Dr. Bob Sr & Jr as they were very good friends of my pastor and frequently came to preach at my church....how sad but true is this sermon and the current condition of Christians today. Oh that we would see preaching today where Godly men are not afraid to preach the truth of God's word and to take a stand for Christ......preventing and exposing sin for what it is, regardless of the cost. Our country is in the place it is today because there are NO preachers or churches preaching with pure conviction and leading from God's word, but choose to look to men rather than God, watering down the truth of God's so that nobody is offended! What a shame.....there will be a lot of offended individuals at the judgement seat and I don't believe that our righteous God will care if they are offended with His punishment for their sin and rejection of His son!!!
