“ Great Sermon! ”
Wonderful message!! It was good the first time I heard it in chapel and it is good every time I listen to it afterward!! A blessing to know that the Bible does tell us that Christ is the Son of God and it gives us proofs in case we doubt or others ask us why we believe what we do. Thanks again!!

Our Dilemma With Discernment

“ What a Blessing! ”
This message is a blessing to me! To be ready to serve the Lord our God, we need to discern and follow God's will. All we need to do is ask God for the discernment. The result is happiness.

“ Rewarding! ”
When life seems unfair, we need to turn to God for the answers. If we are faithful to God, He will see that all our tribulations and difficulties will be rewarded in His time and His way

“ God use everyone ”
In this sermon, Samson is used to teach us a point. Samson lost most everything when he told Delilah about his hair. When we fail in using God's gifts and when we fail to see the purpose and fail to work for that purpose we begin to work for God's enemies even though we are Christians God can work through you.

“ Thoughtful and Insightful. ”
I appreciate how you defined the terms before getting into the message. This is a great challenge today, too many Christians feel like they are missing out on some part of life if they don't see the latest movie, television show, songs, etc.. If they could understand how, as you laid it out, worldliness defiles and destroys perhaps they would be less interested. The guidelines are great and "We don't need as much entertainment as we are inclined to think we do."The choice is clear, love God or love the world.

“ Great Sermon! but it cut iff too soon! ”
Why did the sermon not get finished? It cut off at a very strategic point. This is not the only sermon I have had this happen with. Does it make a difference which way I listen, say 'listen now' vs mp3 or mp4?

“ Great Sermon! ”
I really wished that I and my children has heard messages like these when we (respectfully) were these ages. I'm nearly the same age as Rand and I think of how much pain and wasted time and life may have been avoided had someone told me these things and lived them out in front me. How much good it would have done my children and maybe grandchild.

“ Excellent Message ”
A very challenging message. I did not think of myself as covetous, but I am often discontented. Thank you for pointing out the connection between the two. God bless you and help you to keep speaking the truth to those around you.

Sermon:
Choosing to Love
Dr. Greg Mazak

“ Great Sermon! ”
The world focuses primarily on the "eros" aspect of love: physical, sensual, sexual, romantic, self-serving, etc. Biblical love, defined in I Corinthians 13, is nothing like that. It is primarily occupied with glorifying God by obeying Him and serving others for His sake. Moreover, those early feelings of "eros" love are quickly overtaken by adjusting within marriage to living with someone who has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (just like all of us). That is definitely not always easy. I very much dislike the expression "falling in love." It sounds like an accident in process, and indeed, as noted in this message, if you can fall in love, you can fall out of it. Eros love is fleeting and fickle, often based on lust; agape love is constant and always remains.
