Who We Are
We are a church located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
THOMPSON ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH
is a people-oriented, Christ-centered church who believes God's inspired Word has the answers to life's questions, the guidance to bring us to God, and the instruction to teach believers to follow Him. We believe humankind is corrupted by sin, and salvation comes
by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
We share the gospel and equip believers in our community and around the world. Our programs are for all ages, from nursery [staffed by carefully screened and trained workers], to AWANA kids’ clubs, to a dynamic teen group, to adult Bible studies, to Silver Anchors’ senior outings. We are here to be of spiritual service to you and your family as you seek a church where you can be involved.
Joel Stevens
A native of Wisconsin, Joel grew up in a Pastor's home before attending Maranatha Baptist University and Seminary (B.A., MDiv). Joel became lead pastor at Thompson Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis in 2019 after serving as assistant pastor on the TRBC staff since the summer of 2011.
