Established in 1875, Providence Baptist Chapel stands as a place for preaching the Gospel of Christ and the teachings of the Word of God. This is to point lost souls to Christ, and for Christians to be discipled, serve and grow. Our church extends a warm invitation to those in the Cheltenham or Gloucestershire area to join our worship services. Our congregation, diverse in backgrounds and ages, is united by a shared commitment to the Gospel. We focus on reverent worship, Biblical and expository teaching, prayer, and evangelism.

Believing in the Holy Scriptures as the solid foundation for life, we unapologetically prioritize clear preaching of Christ, sound doctrine, reverential worship, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. As a Reformed Baptist church, our doctrinal views align with the 2nd London Baptist Confession (1689), providing a good summary of our beliefs. We look forward to welcoming you at our services.
