Like People — Like Preachers
Like People — Like Priest
Like People — Like Rulers
When God gives the people what they wanted… even when or especially when they [eventually] argue, complain, and cry that it's not what they really wanted.
When you want the Lord — you get Him. But when you want a superficial him or a substitute him, that fits good into your life, that's what you'll get. (Hosea 4; Jeremiah 3:11-15; Ezekiel 14:4-5; Ezekiel 20:25, 39)
God always remains faithful and unchanging.
"Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry, for the land has committed great harlotry by departing from the Lord. So he went and took Gomer..." Hosea 1:2-3
We, too, have been sent to find life, light, and love the way Jesus explains it.
The same principle is highlighted in Luke 19 and 22.
"So those who were SENT... WENT on their way to where they were sent and they found it just as Jesus MEANT it to be." (Luke 19:32).
They that were sent — went — and because they went — where they were sent — they found it as He meant. Luke 19:32
They that went, having been sent, found it just as Jesus meant.
Life•marriage•ministry•mission work• everything and all things God•will be found, as He said it would be when we go looking for what we were sent to find.
God is always and forever faithful…
Keep in mind: when we uncompromisingly obey God, it will always involve a Risk to our Reputation. The degree of RISK is at the mercy and grace of the Caller. Following His lead means you'll go unprotected from the scrutiny of those you love and most all others.
The book of Hosea is such a great word that helps and encourages my heart. Hosea, a prophet, was told by God to marry
