Moses asked for a display of God's glory. God did not let him see His glory, but He declared His glory. The characteristics that God made known were what people throughout the Old and New Testament held strongly and lived by. Exodus 34:6-7 is found throughout the Bible and was used in good times and bad times. God's glory is displayed in His character.
