About Us
The history of Grace Community Church begins with a “monk and mallet”. The monk was a man named Martin Luther and he used the mallet to nail his 95 theses to the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg Germany in 1517 and thus the protestant reformation began.
Out of the protestant reformation came a set of Biblical doctrines known today as the “Doctrines of Grace”. These doctrines declare that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
No Grace Community Church is not over five centuries old, but in part we owe our existence to the great reformers men like Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin and many others who sacrificed much to reclaim the purity of the Gospel.
Today Grace Community Church strives to remain faithful to the spirit of the reformation through expositional preaching, God centered worship and endeavoring to help all Christian experience sovereign joy that only comes from being in relationship with God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are not a perfect church, we are not perfect people. We are people who are growing together, who love and serve one another, and seek to live in such a way that God is glorified in all that we say and do.
