We are a church located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Our pastors and church membership are thankful and indebted to many Pastors and Biblical Commentaries that have enriched our ministries and our lives. Men like John Macarthur, RC Sproul, Stephen Olford, Steven Lawson, Albert Mohler, Steve Cole, Charles Spurgeon, Martin Luther, John Calvin and many others are often resources in our preaching/teaching ministries. We believe at Grace that every Christian can truly know their Savior and Lord in deep and meaningful ways through obedience to His Word and through the life of the Church. Dr. Alan Lee Herd, Sr.
Alan received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was 16 years old and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 1991 and has served as our Senior Pastor since 2000.
Before being called to Grace Baptist Church, he served the Lord as Associate Pastor of Students & Education at Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN (1996-2000); as Associate Pastor of Students at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN, (1994-1996) and was Area Director of the Middle Tennessee Fellowship of Christian Athletes (1987-1994).
Alan is thankful and excited about being back home where he is serving the Lord and the community where he was raised. He and his wife Lisa have been married for thirty-seven years and have four children: Alan & Rose, John & Anna, Anna Grace & Jordan, and Jacob & Kate. They also have four grandchildren: Paisley, Clayton, Cassidy & Trace.
