We invite you to attend one of our worship services. It can be intimidating to come for the first time, but be assured that you will be warmly welcomed. We’re providing some basic information, knowing that it’s easier to visit a new place when you know a little more about it.
If you join us on Sunday morning or afternoon, you will find people of all ages united in praise, prayer and listening to the message of the Bible. Sunday is the Lord’s Day, the day that God our loving Father and Creator has set aside to refresh and nourish us. He does this by gathering us together, speaking his love and grace to us in the reading and preaching of the Holy Scriptures, nourishing us and uniting us to himself in Jesus, through his Spirit, in the sacraments of Baptism and Lord’s Supper.
After the service, you’re welcome to stay and mingle. You can join the host family for lunch. If you want to learn more from us about God, his son the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit; about the Bible, the church, and the Christian faith; or about anything else, we’re ready to help Maybe you’d just like someone to talk to or pray with. Let one of us know. We’ll do what we can to serve you and are be happy to put you in touch with Pastor Theo, who is also eager to meet you.
If you have never been to a Christian Church, or a Canadian Reformed Church, then you should know what we believe. Our beliefs about God and King Jesus serve as the motivation and patterns for how, and why, we worship each Sunday. This life as the body of Christ is not confined to Sunday only, but flows out into each and every day.
