Welcome back Chronister!
The "good" news is... This virus could be a world-wide event, so watch Israel. And our pastor has passed 7 more kidney stones. That's 119, for those of you keeping count.
We start with a letter from Jacob from Coeur d'Alene Idaho, one from ValJoe, and one from Chad. And today is part 5 of the Immortality of Animals. It is an imposing undertaking, but we surmise that there must be at least 7 installments to do it even a little justice.
Why are animals immortal? Pastor backs up the bus to pick up the stragglers while adding a little new material for those who didn't wander off. Why do animals die? They did nothing to deserve it. For us, existence is not the issue. The destination is our main concern. Animals and us both go to dust. God has no partiality... it is the same. Omniscience requires it.
Let's start with ValJoe's question. Why didn't the faithful angels know that Jesus was God until after Satan was expelled from His presence? Short answer... Psalm 10:1. He hides Himself from us... and He hides Himself from the Angels. The key question is, "Why do you hide, oh Lord?"
The army fell on their faces when the I AM says I AM. Actually, they were slammed to the ground. But we'll focus on the covering of the Ark of the Covenant. It must be covered with the Vail. The wood is overlaid with Gold. Deity is covering humanity. Christ is the Ark. When the Ark walks among the people, He has to have three coverings. But failure to know that Christ's humanity is subordinate to His Deity keeps the church today from discovering the truth.
Is there more to this sermon? Oh, you better believe there is. There are more letters to answer.
