Who We Are
We are a church located in Freeman, South Dakota.
Bethlehem Reformed OPC is a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (www.opc.org). We are gathered to praise the Triune God, to promote the edification of God’s people, and to proclaim the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ to the Freeman, SD community and beyond—even to the ends of the earth.
Thomas B. Brown
Thomas Brown has been married to his beloved Sara since 2008, and they have been blessed with four young children which they enjoy homeschooling. Thomas, a third-generation pastor, was raised in Newark, CA and graduated from the University of Southern California, where he was able to join the football team as a walk-on. Afterwards, he taught and coached in Christian Schools, and served in public office on the Newark Unified School Board for two years. Following his graduation from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina he was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). He has pastored for thirteen years and is currently the Assistant Pastor at Danville Presbyterian Church. He also teaches a Shakespeare class for homeschool students at the Eagle’s Nest Homeschool Supply store. Hiking the hills and enjoying games with his children are two of his most relaxing pastimes.
