You. When the clouds and the voices are swelling the song, worthy the lamb and the slave, then all the archangels must sing song. their crowns, in their hands. Fall now before Him, joy in the song. Worthy, worthy the Lamb. Amen. Thank you for joining us this morning. If you would stand, we'll continue with our song service. Galatians chapter six, verse number 10 says, as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. It's good to be in the Lord's house today. Brother Price, would you open us in a word of prayer, please? Amen. Please join us in singing hymn number 259, Jesus Sings. Jesus saves, Jesus saves, Jesus saves, Jesus saves, Jesus saves. Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Sing the triumph of our King. Jesus reigns. Jesus reigns. In the plains of mighty Flores. Jesus reigns. Jesus reigns. In the plains of mighty Flores. Jesus lives! Jesus lives! There is a light whose rest all darkness, fear, and sin From the wake of a man in deadly war, the souls of sinners dead and still in resurrection. He gave life to Him. He said, Arise! And death gave way to life. He said, Awake! And thine eyes were to shine. He said, Come out! And the Jew was filled with light. He said, forgiven, and gave eternal life. He touched my heart and taught me love I never knew. He took my hand. forever making me his own. He gave me drink, and living water filled my soul. He found me lost, and brought me to his home. He said, He said, awake, and blind eyes look to sky. He said, come out, and the tomb was filled with light. He said, forgive. Then gave eternal life. Then gave eternal life. He said, oh, life, and death gave way to life. He said, oh, life, and life has no desire. He saved the mount, and the tomb was filled with life. He said, Forgiven. And gave eternal life. He said, arise. He said, arise. And gave eternal life. He said, arise. Once again, we'll sing hymn number 211, Whosoever Meaneth Me. to say. Since that tree has gone and made me whole. I'll still have your true divinity. True divinity. Oh, true divinity. I'll still have your true divinity. Amen. Please remain standing as we go to the Lord in prayer for our offering today. And thank you, you may be seated. Yeah. So, There are mountains ahead that I can't move by myself. But I know when I'm weak, he's strong. When I can barely breathe, there's still a song. Even though it's hard right now, I'm not here alone. So when it seems it can't be done I know God is big enough I can run the race I'm called to run Cause I know God is big enough He'll finish everything He starts He'll meet us right here where we are I can feel faith rising up Cause I know God is big And the days that the shadows of doubt make me feel small I'll declare that I don't stand in my strength at all Cause I won't live a day you didn't plan Every single moment is in your hands Even if the whole world shakes, you're the rock on which I stand So when it seems it can't be done I know God is big enough I can run the race I'm called to run Cause I know God is big enough He'll finish everything He starts He'll meet us right here where we are I can feel faith rising up Cause I know God is big Bigger than the fear that surrounds me Bigger than the chains that abound me Bigger than the story my past can tell Bigger than the weight of tomorrow Bigger than the hurt and the sorrow Bigger than the lies I've told myself So when it seems it can't be done I know God is big enough I can run the race I'm called to run Cause I know God is big enough He'll finish everything He starts He'll meet us right here where we are I can feel faith rising up So when it seems it can't be done I know God is big enough I can run the race I'm called to run Cause I know God is big enough He'll finish everything He starts And meet us right here where we are I can feel faith rising up Cause I know God is big It is big enough. of every blessing, to thy martyrs in thy praise. Strength of mercy, never ceasing, Raise the mountain, fix the morning. Count how bright it may come. Here I raise mine, give a reason. Teach us love, be with us, take us, but with love, love, love, love. Peter, rescue, Peter, danger, Peter, watch this precious child. I walk with you to Thee. Come to wonder, Lord, I'm weary. Come to think of God, I love. Here's my heart, I can't even see Him. He's here and gone. may be seated. If anyone ever felt as though their sin was deeper than grace would go, I have. If anyone ever thought his prayer was a waste of time, cause no one cares, I have. If anyone believes that he's gone too far, then my friend I've been right where you are. You're not alone. No, you're not alone. I have good news to share with you. What you're feeling now is far from true. So keep hanging on. Cause if there is one who loves beyond the sad mistakes that we've all done, He does. If there's a soul who understands and longs to heal the hurts we have, He does, Jesus does. He walked the road to Calvary. He suffered pain and agony because he knew there'd come a day when you would need to call his name if there is one who wants to be the one and only friend you need, he does. If anyone has a reason to sing, I'm singing. If anyone has a right to say, thank you, Lord, for another day, I do. If anyone has a reason to sing a song when gray skies hide the blue, that's me. If anyone can stand and testify, you can count on me, and I'll tell you why. He set me free. Yes, he set me free. When the guilt and shame from my own sin sought to rob me of the joy he gives, he reminded me that if there is one who loves beyond the sad mistakes that we've all done, he does. If there's a soul who understands and longs to heal the hurts we have, he does. Jesus does. He walked the road to Calvary. He suffered pain and agony because he knew there'd come a day When you would need to call his name If there is one who wants to be The one and only friend you need He does Jesus does. He walked the road to Calvary. He suffered pain and agony because he knew there'd come a day When you would need to call his name If there is one who wants to be The one and only friend you need He does If there is one who wants to be the one and only friend you need, He does. Jesus does. Amen. Thankful for Jesus. Thankful to know heaven's my home. Thankful to know my past is not gonna be brought up against me again. What a blessing. If you would take your Bibles, turn to Psalms 75. I've been preaching in the book of Psalms. I don't know why, but this week I thought, let's go to the center. Let's find out what's in the center. So when I eat brownies, it's the center. I don't want that stuff on the side. I want the center. I just like the centerpiece. It's the best. I eat my sandwiches, I eat all the way around, the last piece is the centerpiece. I'm just at the center, so I thought if food can be that good, I know the Bible can be that good, amen? But Psalm 75, I've entitled this God is Judge, and if you can stand with me in reverence to the reading of the word of God. Psalm 75, verse number one. Under thee, O God, do we give thanks. Under thee do we give thanks. For that thy name is near, thy wondrous works declare. When I shall receive the congregation, I will judge uprightly. The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved. I will bear up the pillars of it, Selah. I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly, and to the wicked lift not up the horn. Lift not up your horn on high, speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He put it down one and setteth up another. And in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red, it is full of mixture. And he poureth out of the same, but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out and drink them. But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Let's pray. Lord, we love you and we thank you for your goodness and your love to us. We thank you for our scripture, to be able to hold your word in our hands. What a wonderful, wonderful opportunity that is. There are still places in this world today where people do not possess the word of God. And Lord, I pray that we would not take it for granted that we can hold your word in our hands, that we might be able to read it, that we might be able to study it, that we might be able to have it. God, thank you, thank you, thank you that we have it. I pray to God that you would meet with us today as we study your word, as we preach it, Lord, that you would be honored and glorified. Lord, if there be one here that doesn't know you as their savior, that this might be the day they'd come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your goodness and your love to us. We ask these things in your blessed and most holy name. And all the people said, amen, you may be seated. So we start this psalm, and I'm sure my Bible students know that David wrote a vast majority of the psalms, but not all of the psalms. And so this psalm that we're reading today was actually written by Asap. I don't know a lot about Asap. We didn't hang out. I didn't have to learn a lot about him in Bible college, so I didn't. But he writes a large majority of the psalms also. and is still with the same heart and the same desire that David did, maybe looking at things just a little bit differently. But I find it interesting, as we come to verse number one, did you notice as we read verse number one, it sounded like maybe there was a typo? Because we read it, it says, unto thee, O God, Do we give thanks? Under thee, do we give thanks? It's like he's repeating. What he's doing, he's trying to emphasize. that Asaph is saying, look, unto God we need to give thanks. He is worthy, we need to give him thanks. We need to thank him for his goodness and for his love. We need to thank him for all around us and all that he does for us. And so he starts out and he just, I just found it interesting, wanted to point it out to you as we begin, that twice here in this chapter that we are told and the people of God are told to give thanks unto God. And you know, we're coming up on November, and here in November, we preach messages about being thankful, but truly, for the child of God, I think thanksgiving is something that we ought to give on a regular basis to God. If not every day, at least multiple times in a week, we ought to stop and thank him for his goodness. And so, it says, unto thee, O God, do I give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks, For that thy name is near, thy wondrous works declare. And we recognize the wondrous name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we recognize the wondrous works that have been done in this world, and we have much to thank him for. Then we come, I'm gonna skip around here just for a few minutes, we come to verse nine and carrying on that thought, so we start the thought of Psalm 75 with giving thanks unto God and we come to verse number nine and we read. As we start with Thanksgiving, so we end the chapter also thinking upon God and praising Him for His goodness, lifting Him up, exalting Him, praising God for all that He's done for us. You know, if you're here today and you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have a lot to be thankful for. I remember what it was like not to be saved. I can remember the anxiety of life. I can remember the issues that seemed insurmountable or seemed to be no answer. And then I met Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and things begin to make sense in my life. I remember in my teenage years wondering, why am I here? What's the purpose of my life here upon this earth? And then under the preaching of the word of God, I recognized that I needed to be saved. And I remember going down front, and I remember praying that sinner's prayer. And I remember telling God, I know that I'm a sinner. Romans 3.23 says, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. And I told God, I said, I know that I'm a sinner. And I recognize that there's a payment for that sin, and I thank you for the fact that you love me. In Romans chapter 5 and verse number 8, probably the greatest verse in the Bible to shake my life in Romans 5, 8, but God commended his love toward us. And while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Isn't it good to know that Jesus died in my place? Jesus died for my sins. Listen, if I had to die for my own sins, if I had to eternally be separated from God because of my own sins, I'm glad that Jesus came along and paid that price. I don't wanna be separated from him. I don't want to go to be separated from him forever and ever. I'm thankful that Jesus paid that price. And I'm thankful to be able to call out to him and ask him to be my Lord and Savior. And he saved me from my sins. And so when we come here and the psalmist is saying, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob, the first one that the New Testament Christian, which is us, because we're living under the New Testament, not under the law. The first thing every New Testament Christian ought to do is say, thank you God for my salvation. Thank you to know that I'm saved. Thank you to know that heaven's my eternal home. God, I have so much to thank you for. But I really wanted to preach today out of verse number seven and verse number eight. And I'm gonna be honest with you, what sparked this is the fact that we have an election coming up. I'm not gonna get political, okay? I think you probably already know my views. I'm gonna vote the Bible, it's pretty simple. I'm gonna vote the Bible, I'm gonna follow what I believe God would have us to do, which I think every child of God would do. But I want us to be reminded of a few things. And I think we find it here in verse number seven, but God is the judge. He put it down one and set it up another. In November we'll have the election and hopefully we're all gonna go do our part and we're gonna vote and we're gonna have our say, we're gonna make our requests known, but hopefully that's not all. Hopefully as a child of God we recognize that it's not just going to a polling place and casting a vote, but this is gonna affect our nation. And what we need to do is we need to begin to really bathe this thing in prayer. We need to be praying, saying, God, if it be your will, sure it'd be nice to have someone who draws close to your word. As a child of God, I really would love to live in a time and raise my kids in a time that the word of God is respected and honored and glorified. God, if it would be your will, God, would you allow the person in office that would benefit America the most? God, would you have your will done? God, would you lead me as I vote? Would you give me your thinking and your mind? God, would you have your hand upon this election? And might it not necessarily be judgment upon our nation, but might you stay your hand? And might you spare our country a little longer that we might be able to reach more for the cause of Christ? You see, I think it's important that we pray. It's easy to get caught up in the talking heads. I call them the talking heads. And boy, I'm telling you, there's so many talking heads out there, and many of them wanna just scare you to death. Ah, ah, ah. Scare you to death. If I'm not careful, I can watch three or four of those reels, and before long, I'm ready to. Those talking heads ain't gonna do me any good. But I can get on my knees and talk to the creator of this universe, and that'll do me some good. God, you have your will done, because you're gonna set up, whoever gets set up, you're gonna put down, whoever gets put down, God, I'm gonna turn to you. I am gonna go, by the way, I don't think that this just because you're praying gives you the opportunity not go to the ballot box. You need to go vote. You say, well, my vote doesn't count. Yes, it does. You know how many Christians did not vote in the last election? Enough that they could have changed the last election. We need to vote, we need to be registered to vote, we need to go vote and vote and pray and seek God's face and have God's mind about all that's going to happen here. So we come to verse number seven and verse number eight and we read that God is the judge. God is our judge and he is our judge. In Psalms 75 verses four and five, we read, I said unto the fools, Hopefully that's not any of us. I said unto the fools, deal not foolishly, and to the wicked, lift not up the horn. So God turns to the fools and he said, look, don't do your foolishness. Don't do your craziness, your stupidity. It's a common thing for fools to be foolish in their actions, in their attitudes, in their desires, and in their selfishness. They're foolish in just about everything that they do. And God said, look, I've told them, don't be foolish. And then to the wicked, wicked, lift not up thy horn. Are your horn on high? So I thought, well, what are you talking about? Is he talking about that they would use a horn to blow through? What exactly is he talking about? So with the help of a dictionary, it says the word horn is often used metaphorically to signify strength and honor. because horns are the chief weapons and ornaments of the animals which possess them and hence they are also as a type of victory. Then I was reminded of the fact that the horn is a sign of strength. I was reminded of the Bible story where the two kings are going to war and they call for the prophets at the time and one prophet shows up with horns of iron And he says, and you will be victorious. And he took the horns and he held them up and he goes, you will use your horns and your strength to push the enemy out of the way. So he said it's a horn, it's a symbol of strength. And so he's telling the foolish, look, don't be foolish. And he's telling the wicked, look wicked, don't lift up your strength, don't lift up your horn. Lift not your horn on high. Yet I think we live in a society that we'd have to recognize that the wicked are on high. The wicked are lifted up, the wicked are out there, and they're influencing our world, and they're influencing our places, and they're influencing everything. So we need to be praying, Christian. He says, speak not with a stiff neck, amazing is your strength. how the ungodly and the wicked get that stiff neck, and it's a hardened neck, it's a self-willed neck, it's a determination for elevation of self and wickedness, and they have only their way, and their way is the right way, and they want everyone else to go their way and to respond their way. but they fail to recognize, verse seven, that God is the judge. By the way, Christian, I wanna encourage you, don't become discouraged because the wickedness of this age. God is still the judge. God putteth down one and setteth up another. Sometimes I think we think, well, you know, if God's not gonna answer my prayer my way, and I'm not gonna get the person I want elected, if these things aren't gonna happen, then why? Why do I worry about being a Christian? Or why is it so unfair in this world? We need to remember that this world isn't about fair, okay? Because this world's not perfect. The perfect one's coming, amen? Matter of fact, if we go back here, it's said in verse number three, the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved. Well, that reminds me of when I get over here in 2 Peter 3 and verse number 11, seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness? And so this world's gonna be dissolved. The ungodly may have their time, they may have their run, it's not gonna last forever. God is in charge. We may have to endure a judgment upon our land. As we look back over the Old Testament, we recognize Israel wandered away from God and judgment came against Israel to try to bring it back to God. But at this judgment, the final judgment to come, there'll be no coming back. It'll push us right into the last judgment, if you would, of God. I mean, we're gonna have the rapture, we're gonna have a millennial reign of Christ, and then we're gonna have the great white throne judgment, and everything will be settled for all of eternity. But to that point, we recognize that God is still judge, He put it down one, he setteth up another. He may look at America and say, you know, the Christians are so lukewarm, so unconcerned, they're so deceived because they'll not read their Bibles, they'll not pray, they'll not seek my face. This is what all the world deserves. It reminds me of the verse that said, I look for a man to stand in the gap and there was not one. I wonder if God would, and I'm not asking you to identify, I'm just asking you to think, I wonder if God would judge our church today on our righteousness, each and every one of us on our righteousness. I wonder if, An example from the Bible, Abraham, as the theophany, I believe, Jesus coming to him and saying he's headed down to Sodom to destroy it. And Abraham says, would you destroy it for 50 righteous? Remember, and he goes back and forth, back and forth, and to get down to like five righteous. I wonder if it was up to our church today if God would come and say, I'm gonna destroy Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple, and a preacher would say, for 50 righteous, would you not destroy it? Or 40? Or 35, or 30, 25, 20, 10, or five righteous? I would hope there would at least be five righteous. It's our individual decisions, right? Well, you can have the greatest preacher in the world, and he can preach the truth every week, but if we don't believe in it and apply it and put it into action in our own personal lives that we ourselves seek to be righteous and holy, it does no good. It does no good. You say, well, and this is a great misconception, Many might say, well, I'm gonna rely upon our pastor's righteousness, wisdom, insight, understanding of the word of God, his prayer life. I'm gonna rely upon him to get us all to the other side. You're in big trouble. I know your pastor, okay? He's just a normal guy. Puts his pants on one leg at a time. He fights spiritual issues himself almost on a regular basis. It's the responsibility of each and every one of us. That each and every one of us realize it's up to me. If my life is gonna be righteous and holy, it's gonna be something acceptable unto God, it's up to me. It's like our salvation. It is up to you. It's not up to mommy and daddy and aunt and uncle and everybody who sits on my pew. They're such good people. That doesn't matter. It's how are we pleasing unto the Lord? God is the judge. Man, I'm so glad God's the judge. I'm glad it's not up to Lalo. I'm glad it's not up to me. I'm glad it's not up to all the deacons. That's a scary responsibility to be the judge. I hate just being asked to, hey, will you judge the chili supper thing? Well, because I'm afraid I'll make someone mad. But you know what, when it comes to God, he's to separate the tares from the wheat. He doesn't care who he makes man. He laid the law down, he is righteous, and he will judge righteously because of the God that he is. That's why to think that we might be able to get to heaven because we're good, or because we're pretty, or because we're rich, We're in big trouble if that's the reason you think you get to heaven. So God said in his word that God is the judge. He put it down one and he set it up another. Let's think about this judge for just a minute. You know he's omniscient? He knows all persons and things. He searches the heart. This is a great thing that just kind of baffles me about how big God is because I'm so small. But he's searching all of our hearts at once. Some of you are checked out, thinking, man, I can't wait for the preacher to get done. I gotta go out here, I'm gonna do this, I'm doing that. I got this going on and that going on. I wonder what it'd be like if all of what we're thinking could be heard right now. God hears it. He knows your heart. He knows you might be sitting here today, but you don't wanna be sitting here today. He might know that you have no idea, you don't have any desire to be righteous or holy. You're just here so that everybody will think that you're just such a great guy. But listen, God searches the heart. He tries the reins. He knows what brings us and what drives us. He knows the secret things of our heart. He's omnipotent. He's able to do all things. He can raise the dead, He can call the judgment, He can bring all before Him, He passes sentence and He execute them. And He's omnipresence. You realize there's no fleeing from God? There's no fleeing from Him. He's everywhere all the time. He's here with us, he's with those that couldn't be here today. He's everywhere at once, it just baffles my little pea brain, okay? It's amazing the God that we serve. Listen, the worst thing in the world is to bring God down here, because God's up there. His ways are so far beyond our ways. And when we think, I've got God figured out, we're in big trouble. And so he put it down and he setteth up another. He humbles, he brings low. He brings low the haughty and the proud and the arrogant. He setteth up another, he exalts another and he looks to exalt those who are lowly and humble and he setteth up those around him that his will might be accomplished. Gil writes of this portion of scripture, God has many ways to mortify the proud, by inflicting diseases on their bodies, by stripping them of their honor and wealth, and by bringing them into disgrace among men, and this he does in grace, such as are stout-hearted and far from righteousness. and will not submit to the righteousness of Christ. He brings them to it, and those whom he makes humble by his grace, he raises to a high estate, to be kings and priests, and to sit among princes, and to inherit a throne of glory. This might be exemplified in the Jews and the Gentiles. He has stripped the one of their privileges and put them down from their civil and church state and raised up the other to be his church and his people and also in the Antichrist and the true church of Christ. He will e'er long put down the one that sets as a queen and exalt the other when she shall be as a bride adorned for her husband, having the glory of God upon her. God sets up and sets down. His chosen people, the Jews, when he left this earth, he extended the church and he decided to use the Gentiles. He set aside his people and he exalted the Gentiles through the church age, but he's going back to his people. He's going back. Remember this, Proverbs 21.1. The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord. As the rivers of water he turneth it whithersoever he will. So what about God's judgment? He is the judge. What does his judgment look like? Well, verse eight. For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup and the wine is red. It is full of mixture. So we understand by talking about Bible wines that I believe the wine most commonly referenced in scripture is like a pure grape juice, unless it has mixture. So this is a highly, we could say intoxicated type wine. It's full of mixture. He poured that out of the same, and we'll figure out what he does with it. But the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth, shall wring them out and drink them. So I think what we have here is a picture of what's gonna happen as we get into those last days. Those last days, God is judge. He's drawing people unto him as he's done for thousands of years. The word of God has been preached. He's been drawing people, drawing people, drawing people, drawing people, and people have been rejecting and rejecting and rejecting. Many getting saved, as we studied last week. Thousands upon thousands of thousands of thousands saved and in heaven, but there's, Maybe that many, if not more, that are rejecting, rejecting, rejecting. And he has this cup, and he's pouring it out, I believe, through the ages, as all these are rejecting. They're drinking into the mindset of the world. They're drinking into their own self-righteousness, drinking into their own way. They wanna do things their way. They don't wanna acknowledge there's a God. They don't believe there's such a thing as a God. And then eventually that cup gets empty. Down to the dregs. I don't know if you've ever drank a lot of tea. My mom would brew tea and we'd have it at the house and sometimes if a tea bag would break, you'd get to the bottom and it'd be what we'd call the dregs, little pieces of tea leaf all over the bottom. Well, I wasn't interested in drinking that. I'd catch that out. But these dregs are dregs of judgment. They're dregs of afflictions. Matter of fact, one writer put it this way. He said, the cup represents afflictions and calamities and judgments, which are measured out in proportion to men's sins, and they are of God's appointing. And he pours them out. The redness of the wine is the emblem of the wrath of God. This cup is full, and it's explained in Revelation 14, 10, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. I believe the dregs of the cup are the last step for mankind before the judgment seat of God. Then it is poured out, this cup is poured out through the ages, it's poured out up to that time that that judgment takes place, the final judgment. I look around, I see our nation, I can't help but see the wickedness that surrounds us. Here's another individual arrested for sex scandals and child trafficking. Man, what a wicked, wicked world we live in. Ms. Terry gets to work with kindergartners. What a great joy. I love the little ones. They're so innocent. They see the world so different. I want to see the world through their eyes. I have to look at the world at this point in my life, and I see all the wickedness, and I see the subversion, and I see people, and whether we like to admit it or not, we're kind of in a judgment mode at this age in life, this person's not good for me, I'm gonna stay away from them, this person will be good for me. But the little kids, the little B kids, they don't know. But to think that someone would hurt the innocency Of a child? It's a good thing I'm not God. Boom, boom, people just dying right and left. Like, would not tolerate it. Such wicked, vile stuff. Kids ought to be able to grow up running around at night with a jar catching lightning bugs. Man, what a great way to grow up. I never, the only thing I had to fear was yes ma'am and no sir. That's all I had to fear. You talk about innocent childhood, going out catching June bugs, eating some dirt pies, and now you can't let your kids out of your sight. You used to be able to have a fence and you could put them in, but I would even guard the fence now. Our beautiful young ladies, I fear for them just to go to the mall. I wouldn't let them go by themselves anywhere. Our beautiful women of our church shouldn't go anywhere by themselves. It's just a wicked, wicked world in which we live. So sick. I remind you of this, and the only thing that brings me comfort is this. God will judge. He will judge. It may look like you're getting away with it now. It's okay, God's gonna judge. It may look like, you know, here we got, we had Epstein, now we got this guy, and I think there's probably many, many more. God's pouring out the cup. God'll judge it all. Let me assure you of this. No one will escape. No one. No one will. He lifts up, he pulls down. Judgment will come. America, if I could preach this to our nation, God's gonna give us what we deserve and I believe as children of God how we react. The Bible tells us in Chronicles that we ought to humble ourselves and pray and seek his face and beg for righteousness. I think part of that also is reaching out and winning others to Christ while we can, because I think if wickedness continues to assume power and take over, it could very easily become illegal to tell anyone the good news, because they'll call it proselyting. and you'll be in prison if you're still alive. I'm telling you, we live in wicked, wicked, wicked time. With that said, just remember that God's in charge. Psalms 116 says, upon the wicked, he shall rain snares, fire, and brimstone, and a holy tempest, this shall be the portion of their cup. So what do I do, preacher? Well, in the meantime, I remind you of the beginning and the ending of the book. Give thanks unto God. And then sing praises to the God of Jacob. Why? Because all the horns of the wicked also will I cut off. But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Praise God for his word. Don't lose hope, okay? Election day comes, your person doesn't win, don't lose hope. If you prayed about it, you sought God about it, it's okay, God's got it, okay? But let's not anguish over the fact that this person got elected or that person. We just need to do our part to get to that point. And then God's gonna set up who he will and set down who he will. Let's pray. Lord, we love you. and we thank you for your goodness and your love. Pray your will to be done in our lives and our hearts. We thank you for the fact that even in the midst of trying times, we can turn to you. You're there to hear our prayers and to answer them. I wanna thank you for my salvation, God, to know that I'm saved, to know that if my life was to end right now, that heaven's my eternal home. Thank you, God, thank you, God, thank you, God. and to know that you care about our daily lives here upon this earth. Thank you, Lord. Know that you care about the election for America here in the next few weeks, and Lord, I think as Christians, we ought to do our part, we ought to pray, we ought to seek your face, we ought to prepare, we ought to vote, we ought to do all we can to seek your face, to walk with you, to vote our convictions based upon the Bible. Lord, that you might spare us. Lord, let us continue in freedom. Might we even gain some ground that's been lost in our Christianity. Thank you for your goodness and your love to us. We love you and we ask these things in your name, amen. Let's go ahead and stand, have a moment of invitation. You may wanna start praying now for our country, whatever it is that God's spoken to your heart and encourage you to come. Brother Trenton leads us on this first verse.
