to an area there where we have a chapel. And we're going to
rebuild or build a larger chapel there to handle our folks. And

during our sale that we had on. So we'll be glad to do that and
I'll give you more information. A phone number in our next broadcast.
I don't have it in front of me now. But this is the old Trailblazer,
Pastor Penn Darvish. And I praise the Lord for each
one of you who are supporting the ministry here, the radio
broadcast of the Trailblazer and also the Voice of Truth.
And our folks scattered all over this nation. We do. It's amazing
to me how folks responded after the storm, calling, writing,
helping us with the finance. The finance dropped off because
we lost a lot of our folks due to the storm. They were displaced,
moved out of the country, moved out of the city, moved out of
the state. But the Lord has supplied all
our needs and is supplying them on a daily basis. We're dealing
with a contractor now to build a new building here in Baton
Rouge. a better building than what we had in New Orleans. It
was an old, old building, most of you know, some of you know.
Much maintenance required and all those things, many, many
termites. And the contractor told me the other day, we was
talking, he said, there won't be a wooden piece of wood in
this building. It's all going to be steel studs,
steel rafters, steel everything. And termites can just turn around
and go back to New Orleans. But my friend, this is the old
Trailblazer. We're looking at this study in Revelation, and
today we're looking at the fall of Babylon. I hope you've been
keeping up with us in all of these things. We're looking at
the 18th chapter of Revelation. We're coming down now to the
end, aren't we? After these things, it says, that refers to the 17th
chapter we just got through with, where Mystery Babylon, the great
mother of harlots and abominations of the earth, is set forth picturing
apostate Christendom After all, born-again believers have been
taken out of the world." Dr. Copeland said, you catch that?
After all, born-again believers have been taken out of the world.
Oh, you aww-millennials, you just have to chop your lips,
don't you? In our study of the seventeenth chapter, we saw that
all religious bodies would unite under one head, who would be
the Antichrist, After all, born again, ones were taken out of
this world. We saw that Babylon is the place
where all false religions, idolatry, paganism, false philosophy originated. We saw that under the reign of
the Antichrist all religions would head up in old Babylon. We saw that Christ would turn
the beast, or the Antichrist, against this religious world,
or this religious harlot, and burn her with fire, making her
desolate. That is, he would utterly destroy
root and branch, for it is the thing that God hates. Now we
come to the eighteenth chapter. I hope you got your Bible with
you. where Babylon the Great is set forth as the great commercial
center of the world in the closing days of the tribulation period."
That's a gracious thought that came to me recently, that one
day that tribulation period will come to an end. But it raises
the question, will the city of Babylon be rebuilt? According
to God's Word, the city of Babylon on the Euphrates River will have
to be rebuilt, according to Isaiah 13 and 14, and then Jeremiah
50 and 51. You go there and read those four
chapters. For the city of Babylon has never been destroyed, as
prophecy says she will. Listen to Isaiah 13, 19, and
Jeremiah 50, 40. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms,
the beauty of the Chaldees, excellently shall be as when God overthrew
Sodom and Gomorrah, and the neighboring cities thereof, saith the Lord. So shall no man abide there,
neither shall any son of man dwell therein. Then in Jeremiah
51.6 we find these words, Flee out of the midst of Babylon,
and deliver every man his soul. Be not off Listen, be not cut
off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance.
He will render unto her a recompense. Babylon hath been a golden cup
in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken. Babylon
and the nations have drunken her wine, therefore the nations
are mad. Babylon is suddenly fallen and
destroyed. Howl for her! Take balm for her
pain! if so be that she may be healed."
When you study the history of Babylon from the days of old
Nimrod up to this present hour, you will find that nothing like
this I have quoted from God's Word has ever happened to the
city of Babylon. Now with your Bibles in hand,
let us read what John said he saw in this eighteenth chapter.
And after these things, after the seventeenth chapter, I saw
another angel come down from heaven. having great power, and
the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily
with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the Great is fallen,
is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the
hole of every foul spirit, and the cage of every unclean and
hateful bird, for all nations have drunk of the wine of the
wrath of her fornication. And the kings of the earth have
committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth
are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard
another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that
ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues. For her sins have reached unto
heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Reward her even
as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to
her works. in the cup which she has filled to her double. How
much she has glorified herself, lived deliciously, so much torment
and sorrow give her, for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen,
and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her
plague come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine. and
she shall be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord
God who judges her." Oh, my friend, I speak often of the wrath of
God. Folks won't have it. Folks just
won't have it, that the God that we know is the God of wrath.
Oh, but listen, the Scripture says what a terrible thing to
fall into the hands of an angry God. We see here the doom of
Babylon. Yes, Babylon will have to be
rebuilt, and will be rebuilt according to her prophecy on
the old site on the Euphrates River. She will be rebuilt in
all her splendor and earthly glory. and will become the capital
of the world empire under the reign of the Antichrist. She
will also become the center of world commerce and center of
world religion. In Zechariah 5, we have such a definite prophecy
that Babylon will be rebuilt in the land of Shinar, which
will be the seat of universal commercialism, as well as the
center of world wickedness. From this center, according to
Revelation 18, 3, all nations will be brought definitely under
her influence. of wickedness and fornication,
when her iniquity will have reached its full. God will destroy her
as He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. But before He destroys Babylon,
as stated there in verse 4, He calls His people to come out
of her. This refers to the Jews in the
closing days of the Tribulation period. Just as God could not
destroy Sodom and Gomorrah before Lot and his family got out, just
so He will not destroy Babylon until His people come out of
her. Read that in Genesis 19, if you will. We have a vivid
comparison between the fullness of iniquity in the city of Sodom
and the fullness of iniquity in the city of Babylon. Listen.
Listen to these words in verse 5. for her sins have reached
unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. In the 18th chapter
of Genesis, verse 20, we read, And the Lord said, Because the
cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin
is very grievous, I will go down now, and see whether they have
done altogether according to the cry of which is come unto
me." My friend, did you ever stop to think that every sin
that you commit cries out unto God against you, is held against
you in the record of heaven, and will meet you at the judgment
unless that sin has been paid for, pardoned, put away, forgiven
by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ? I often tell the story,
paraphrasing the Bible, of the judgment day, one day there'll
be a throne set in heaven, a judgment throne, and there'll be folks
there. They'll come there to be judged.
And the recording angel will be there, and the Lord will sit
on the throne, and he'll say to the angel, look to see if
so-and-so's name is in the book. And the angel will look there,
and he'll say, no, he's not there. No, sir. He said, look again. You say, how is that going to
be possible? You know anything about a computerized world? My
friend, you can pick up a computer now, and you can look up somebody's
name and address in Shanghai. You can do all of those things
that I don't even know a lot about. But I know one thing.
Over this internet that we go out over, over these great radio
stations, there's technology there that the human heart cannot
conceive. So you think God can't don't
have a record the bible says there's a record kept but the
book will be open and the angel will say no is that going to
be your name and the lord will say depart from me i never knew
you depart from me i never knew you and he would cast out into
the lake of fire which burneth forever and ever you can say
well old trailblazer all that was done away with you show me
where it's done away with you write me and tell me call me
and tell me I have told you in the recent past, one of our great
old so-called evangelists made this statement in his newspaper
article that he was not sure that there was a living hell.
Well, I tell you, my friend, if I could stand by his side,
I'd say, Mr., you can be sure there's a living hell because
God's Word says it is. The Bible says that hell from
beneath is moved to meet thee at thy coming. My friend, hell
is a literal place, not a figment of someone's imagination. No,
just as our Lord Jesus Christ is a living reality, just as
the blood is a living reality, just as heaven is a living reality,
so shall judgment be, and so shall eternity be. Oh, my friend,
listen. Listen, my friend. Don't go out
into eternity lost. Throw down your rebellion. Throw
down your hatefulness. Throw down your hatred for God. Throw down your hatred for God's
Word. begin to seek the Lord. The Bible says, seek the Lord
while he may be found. Do you know what that means?
It means right now. He may be found. It's possible
to find the Lord right now. Oh, but he says, the harvest
is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. Oh, that
means we, the collective we, that's not saved. But listen,
folks, the old trailblazers praying for you. Would you remember to
pray for me? And then if you would, write me, and I'll send
you a log of all our radio broadcasts, send you a tape catalog. a booklet
catalog. You can order these messages.
All of these messages are on CDs and cassettes. We'd be glad
to send you a list of them. But remember my website, radiomissions.org. You can find much information
there. You can say, what is the Old
Trailblazer? I don't know who that old fool is. You can go
there and you can see what we believe here. And then I'm going
to give you a study before long on the Old Trailblazer's background,
his life, and where he came from. I'm going to do that one morning,
one evening maybe. Maybe you'd enjoy it, maybe you
wouldn't. If you don't, turn the radio off, I'm going out. But
listen, my friend, my mailing address is the old trailblazer,
Post Office Box 6250, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70174. Goodbye, and
God bless you.
