The Resurrection:
Believe That The Resurrected Jesus is The Christ!

Presuppositions:
The five resurrection writers were divinely inspired—they tell the truth!
The five resurrection writers wrote with different emphases
The five resurrection writers wrote in the milieu of their day
In traumatic doubt, we must believe that the resurrected Jesus is the Christ!
We must think divinely (Mary Magdalene) (1-2)
Worshiping zealously (1)
Mary's zeal: Luke 8:1-3; Jn 19:25; Mk 15:47
Drawing divine conclusions (2)
Jesus' predictions: Mt 16:21; 17:22; 20:17
We must investigate the facts carefully (Peter and John) (3-8a)
Seeking the truth eagerly (3-4)
Run, not walk
Observing the truth fully (5-8a)
Dig for the facts
Observe detail
We must believe in the resurrected Jesus (John) (8b-10)

Look at every event as a God-driven event; understand how God works!
Know how to defend the Resurrection (“The Easter Challenge”)
Fire questions at the text—the Bible is big enough to take them!
Understand the importance of Jesus' bodily resurrection (1 Cor 15:14-17)
