before I do anything else, because it's based on prayer that we're able to accomplish and do the things that we need to do. So I want you to remember the many that are lost. Continue remembering John Underwood. Keep him in your prayers. My mother as well. Keep her lifted up. And I see you as she's got one surgery down, another to go to get her gallbladder removed. And I thank God. You know, normally that'd be great, but when you're 85 years old, it's more of a challenge. Just keep her in your prayers, please. And I thank God for all the prayer warriors that have already prayed for her and got her to where she is right now. Thank the Lord for that. And so remember our church, and don't forget us on Wednesdays. Brother Bob Carroll will be teaching a Bible study over at the church at 7 o'clock. You come and be with him. And then those that are online, you be with us as we continue our mountain series, The Mountains of the Bible on Wednesday night. Tonight we'll be preaching a message that out of scripture I've never preached before out of 2 Corinthians a powerful message that deals with dedicated stewards in the work of God and so let's lift up the word of Jesus in the needs of our church And for those that are out there, especially our first responders and the many that are fighting the battle every day with this pandemic, don't forget to pray for our president. Send in your ballots that you can do, and there's nothing wrong with putting a mask on and going out and voting. But make sure you make time out to do one or the other, because this is a very, very important time. and as we pray for our country and pray for our leaders and ask the Lord to show you who you need to vote for as well. I thank God they might be a lot of preachers. You know, I always say who I'm voting for, but I don't get up in church and dogmatically tell you who to vote for. The Bible should tell you that. There might be a lot of pastors that does that. I don't do that. You need to vote your conscience. You need to ask the Lord to tell you who is a biblical candidate that upstandingly Holds the morals of the principles of the Word of God, and I thank God if you do that You'll be voting for the right person as well a man I've told you who I'm voting for a man and that is be President Trump for his leadership and for those biblical principles You know they might be some things about him that many of us don't like or dislike or like But I thank God one of the things that I have to look at more than anything else even though there's some things I don't like I look at the morals and the principles especially of when it respects life and the wound and I thank God for what he's doing with our government as far as the armed forces and I thank God that you'll just lift him up right now because right now he is our current president and it's your obligation according to the word of God to pray for the leader. I prayed for President Obama for the time that he was in there and even though I didn't vote for him but I prayed for him because it was my responsibility, amen. But I thank God, ever since President Trump's been in there, people haven't abided by the word of God. They've been against him from day one. It's a wonder if America had done Obama the same way, but they didn't. So I'm not here to speak about politics. I'm here to speak about what's right, and that is we're to pray for our leaders, amen. And so it's our obligation to lift him up in prayer, even our mayors, even those ones that are in leadership above us, those that are in our jobs, we ought to pray for our bosses as well. And so let's have a word of prayer. Father, thank you so much for this great opportunity. We lift up the mighty name of Jesus. Take this scripture, Lord of Paul's, and I pray God that you'll just use it to teach us tonight and Lord to speak through the Holy Spirit of God. Lord, may we sing to give glory, honor, and worship to you, and everything that we do, may you receive all the glory and honor. And Father, thank you tonight that I ask that you'll knock upon the heart's door of a lost person, and Lord, bring them into the family of God, Lord, that they can see the light, and Lord, that they will give their heart, soul, and life to our Lord Jesus Christ for the keeping of their soul. Thank you, Father, for forgiving us of our many sins, Now, Lord, just take us tonight, hide us behind your cross and use us for your honor and glory. May you receive all the glory and the honor. Thank you for a great privilege to be in a college, Lord, that teaches many aspects of technical abilities. Lord, to make jobs to support our families. I thank you for all the academics that they do as well and Lord just use us tonight and all that we do That we may give just just recognition to you our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. All right without any further delay tonight We're gonna be singing At the cross tonight if you want to sing along with us you can and so let's see if we can get some a little bit of support Did my Savior bleed and did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head for sinners such as I? At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight And now I am happy all the day But drops of grief can ne'er repay The debt of love I owe Here, Lord, I give myself away Tis all that I can do At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith I received my sight, and now I am happy all the day. Amen. Well, I thank God for that. Every one of us as we look to the word of God tonight and what he has in store for us as we look at ushering in a biblical love ushering in a biblical love amen now thank God as we look at this tonight here in 2nd Corinthians chapter 8 chapters 8 and 9 focus on the offering that Paul was taken up for the needy believers in Judea And the Corinthian church, they had agreed to share in the collection, but they had basically been reminded of the promise at the same time that explained some of the principles of Christian giving to them. It all begins with surrendering to the Lord, whatever we do. ushering in biblical love. I thank God. It begins with surrendering to the Lord, amen. You cannot give your substance until you first give yourself, amen. And so I thank God. When you belong to the Lord, you start looking for opportunities to give instead of excuses not to give. And so it's motivated by grace, amen. Jesus was rich in heaven, hallelujah. And I thank God, but he became poor on earth, even to death on the cross. Amen. That we might share his eternal riches, praise God. And it was all by grace, because giving is a grace. And law commands, but grace consents. And I thank God we do it joyfully, praise God. And so it requires faith. The example of manna in Exodus chapter 16 shows that God always provides what we need. And Paul always used the image of sowing to encourage generous giving, hallelujah. And so God's promises can be trusted. And so here in verses 16 through 24, It requires faithfulness. Those who handle the Lord's money should be dedicated and faithful, making certain that everything is honest and that is honorable. And so I thank God as we look at this tonight, you say, man, what are you talking about? I'm talking about those ones that have a love enough that they have the same love tonight as it talks about Titus and his brother and his other brother. That's right, amen. Well, I thank God we're getting into a little Bob Newhart tonight, amen. But I thank God ushering in biblical love talks about, amen, how the responsibleness is of every one of us above everything that we would do the right thing. And I thank God they were doing something for Judea, hallelujah. I thank God they were focusing on the offering that Paul was taking for the needy believers in Judea and the Corinthian church had agreed to help in that. Amen. And so I thank God as we take our Bibles over to 2 Corinthians chapter 8 looking down at verse 16 here we begin to see some things that were transpiring a man each and every one of us have something that we can do a man and so here we see a great blessing of what love is able to do because one of the things that we see from this that we're able to do hallelujah is basically as we usher in biblical love. Every one of us as stewards, men and women of God, we all are able to have a part in that. And so one of the things that we see about ushering in biblical love, being able, many that are called today in the church that have so many gifts, amen, one of the things that we see, he tells us here in the word of God, it starts out, it tells us about ushering biblical love is what love says. what love says to every one of us because here there was a passion for Titus and I thank God passion that Titus had was that he came to do the work of the Lord he wanted to make sure that everything was done for the Judean church and so I thank God the Corinthians what he did was he went over there and he gave the Bible begins to tell us in the Word of God in 2nd Corinthians 8 16 it says but thanks be to God but put notice he says but put the same earnest care he says put the same earnest care into the heart of titus for you amen boy i thank god when that's what love says when you're ushering in a biblical love amen that there is a passion of titus that is here praise god boy i thank god he says put It is the word that we get, which means to give, to bestow a gift, amen, to furnish or supply the necessary things. It's the Spirit of God that changes our desires and it changes our passions, amen, as we surrender to the Holy Spirit to let us Let the Holy Spirit work in our hearts, amen. And then the Lord has the liberty to change us and to make us, amen. I thank God more like Him. The change that takes place in us helps to empower and to motivate us to do the will of God in our life. And so a Christian is not going to be obedient and surrender to the Lord unless he wants to be this way. And so I thank God, every one of us, it's all about, it begins with surrendering to the Lord, amen. It's the passion of Titus that he had, that he says, put the earnest, he said, put the earnest care, amen. I think God the Greek is talking about of the earnest care right there, in verse 16. He's telling us here that it's of the Greek word. It means spoon day, which means haste. It means diligent diligence. It means carefulness and and it's the earnest in accomplishing praise God. Titus had a passion to be a blessing. Amen. and he knew also well for the Corinthians, amen, that also the believers in Jerusalem, that Titus, who knew them so well and he loved them so dearly, hallelujah, that he was wholeheartedly committed to the relief effort for the Jerusalem saints, that God had so united the hearts of Paul and Titus, amen. And I thank God, here they were doing a great work. They was bringing a collection together, amen. Everything that we do for the Lord today, our testimony, whatever it is, There ought to be a passion for it, amen. And it's what love says about every one of us, amen. And so I thank God. That is a tremendous blessing that we look at each and every time, amen. Titus had the same attitude as Paul, for the Lord had knitted their hearts together. And this is what he does with Christians today. He knits all of our hearts together in a unity to do the will of God, amen. He forms a beautiful picture, praise God. And so Paul spoke of this in his letter to Ephesus, amen. He says, in whom all the building fitly framed together, groweth unto a holy temple in the Lord, hallelujah. The Lord makes the body of Christ fit together perfectly. Each believer does his own special work in ministry. Every one of the stewards, you say, what are you preaching about? I'm preaching about ushering, I'm preaching about the stewards of the church tonight. You always hear about the ministers, and you hear about this one and that one, but I'm preaching about every one of you of the body of Christ that are the ministering stewards of that body, praise God. Here was somebody like Titus, and then all of a sudden later on, they gonna give him a brother, and then they gonna give him another brother. You say, what? That's right, I'm preaching the Bible. I thank God, everyone. God changes our hearts. He works in our lives as we surrender to him, and he knits the hearts of believers together in a cause that will bring honor and glory to him. no matter what that is here happened to be a collection that they had passed the plate and they were doing a great deed because money needed to be taken up and you know what paul didn't want to be accused of doing the wrong thing he didn't want to be accused that he had his hand slipped in the usher plate amen he got uh timothy came of his own accord amen And I thank God he had testimony, he had qualities, he had the purity about him, he had a reputation, he had integrity, he had character, hallelujah, praise God. And so I thank God when God changes our heart and he works in our lives, we surrender to him. the hearts of believers together in a cause that will bring honor and glory to Him that will meet the needs of others. Every one of us are about service today. Every one of us today in the church are about ministering today. Amen. And so I thank God it's important to be yielded to the Spirit of God and so the not will not be destroyed in the unity of the church or the home, not damaged, amen. And so the devil is tearing every church across America today, and I thank God he's running everybody off, he's keeping them out of the houses today, and we continue to see the passion of Titus in the fact, hallelujah, amen, that he's talking about. And so every one of us, as we look and realize that a tremendous blessing that is here ushering in, amen, as he goes forward, he tells us this. He says, your need is God's priority that he's talking about. And so I thank God, every one of us, as we look and realize the true blessing of that need that we all have each and every day, hallelujah. Boy, I thank God. He tells us that we are accepted, amen. is one of the things that he talks about, amen. He tells us that we are accepted, amen. In verse 17, we're fixing to get to that in a minute, but I thank God he tells us that your need is God's priority in verse 16. He says, but thanks be to God which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you, amen. He says your need is God's priority, amen. And he says others' needs are my priority as well. And so I thank God we're trying to meet those needs every day, amen, in ministry, praise God. And so I thank God each and every one of us. That's our number one job is the passion for Titus as Titus had. It was that same passion of ushering in that biblical love that they were doing for Judea amen and that ought to be an example for every one of us amen but I thank God he goes on he says for indeed he accepted notice the word accepted is an interesting word it's derived and I thank God that it tells each and every one of us That that what we have a man that is a tremendous blessing But he says for indeed he accepted the exhortation But being more forward of his own accord he went under you a man and I thank God the word accepted means they cockle me they cockle me it means to take with a hand it means to embrace or make something your own. And it's used of a family that would adopt a child into their family to rear and to educate. Titus began to embrace the burden of Paul and the burden and the needs of the Jerusalem church and the believers of their own burden. And that burden, I thank God, it fired his passion to do something about the need. Amen. The same pattern works for every one of us today. The burden moves you to action and it does no one any good to be stirred about a problem or a cause. but not be moved to do anything about it. Amen. Titus accepted the exhortation of Paul and his forwardness or his diligence and his zeal caused him to go to Corinth on his own accord and endeavor to collect the gift of the Corinthian Christians and take it all the way to Jerusalem and his voluntary participation, amen, along with Paul was further evidence of the blessings of these two men, amen. The zealness of Titus to be so refreshing, hallelujah. And so I thank God, what a tremendous blessing to have a passion and excitement and an enthusiasm for the Lord and His work, just like missionaries are. You are right here wherever you are in the house of God and the body of Christ. Trying to get Christians involved in the ministry of the church is like pulling teeth. Beloved, it takes people to teach the classes. It takes people to sing the song. It takes people to play the instrument. It takes people in the body of Christ to watch the nursery. It takes people to clean the buildings. I tell you, do the ushering. Invite people in. Bring them to the church. And I tell you, if you can want to eventually, you've got a reason to be at home right now. But when it comes down to resolve, you need to find yourself back in the body of Christ, amen, as fast as you can and get out of the slackness that you're in right now, stay in there, amen. I thank God you need to be able to be a part of the church and bring people to church. I tell you, if they need a ride, sitting in a pew, I tell you, it doesn't always mean that you're serving the Lord, just sitting in a pew. God wants every one of us to be zealous in our love and our service for him. Now there's a lot of people that can't make it. There's people that got cancer and they can't make it. But I'm going to tell you, what's your excuse? Huh? What's your excuse, amen? That dedication and devotion and that seal, amen, that you ought to have for the Lord, amen. Every one of us as we go forward today, amen. I thank God. As you look at your life, what are you right now? Hey, are you a wing or are you a weight? Are you a power or are you a problem? Hey, are you a promoter or are you a provoker today? I thank God. Hey, are you a doer or are you a deadhead? Listen, are you a booster or a buckler? Every one of us, are you a helper or are you a hinderer? Amen. Every one of us got a job to do in the church. Amen. Even down to the people that pass the plates, Because they've got to have character and integrity and a testimony to be able to get up in front of the church and pass the plates around and be ushered. Because they are a big part of ushering in biblical love. Because it takes everything in the body of Christ. It's not just a pastor. It's not just a deacon. It takes all of us in the body of Christ, amen. coming together, amen. And so I thank God for people like Charles Cowan, amen. This missionary to Japan in the early 1900s, I tell you, he had a goal to visit every home in Japan and present the gospel to those who would listen, amen, and leave the gospel in printed form if they would not give him an ear, amen. And he gave a plan on how The 58 million people of Japan occupying over 10.3 million homes could be visited in five years, and the mountain areas around there would be difficult. But he was determined, and it was called the Great Village Campaign, and it started with $5. He started with the three million people of Tokyo. He take the gospel to over a half a million homes. And then he worked in the provinces and the towns and the multitudes were saved. And then he worked in the provinces. I thank God. I tell you all the multitudes that were saved in their homes from 1914 to 1918. I thank God. The zeal of the Lord consumed Charles. And in August of 1918, the task had finally taken its toll on Charles. And he left Japan as an infidel. His heart was worn out. And when he died in 1924, there were about 460 churches started in Japan by the men that Charles trained. 80 churches in Korea. And the zeal of the Lord and his burden for the souls, it fueled his energy for serving God and winning the lost. Some may claim that it was stupid to do this to his body. These men and women out there right now that are laboring with everything they got to bring the gospel into the homes in America today, You know, I'd rather burn the candle at both ends for the Lord than for the devil and all of my selfish desires. What are you doing with your life? Huh? Hey, what are you doing? Listen, every one of us, we need to be busy. Mordecai Ham emerged as an evangelist from Kentucky. at the turn of the 20th century, and he had a background in business and the study of law. And from the very beginning, his approach was so zealous and blunt, rather than sit and talk with Christians at revival sites and tents, Ham insisted on being taken to the worst centers in all the community. While he had unsaved people hiding in the cornfields, while Mordecai Ham would go after them and he would seek them out, amen, and he would take the gospel to them praise God and finally one day he come across a young man by the name of Billy Graham and I tell you Mordecai Ham he might not have reached thousands but he reached one man that reached thousands that preached to kings and queens hallelujah and that's exactly our job today we We're the Mordecai hymns today, and we're out there to reach one person for the Lord, and we never know that that one person might be the Billy Graham that'll take the message all over the world out there today. Praise God, hallelujah. And so I thank God. That's exactly the message that we ought to have today. And I'll tell you, as we look and realize that we usher in biblical love, amen, I thank God as your need is God's priority and others' needs are my priority. But I thank God God's provision is your possession, amen. Well, I thank God we look and your possessions are God's expression as well. And so I thank God as we look and realize that we've got a tremendous responsibility, amen, as we go out to be that one for the Lord each and every day of our life amen you know I thank God we see the brothers need and yet we close our hearts against him how does God's love abide in us you know we've got to have a love for the brother and the sister and so I thank God he says for indeed he accepted the exhortation you know what Titus says I'm going to accept the the exhortation to go back to Corinth and to receive the offering but being more forward of his own accord, he went unto you. Boy, I thank God. The point is this, the men who handle the collections must have a zealous concern for the church and a concern that comes both from the Spirit of God and from a warm and tender heart for the things of God. Because you know what? Every one of us can use our gifts for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ, amen. And so we usher in what love says, amen, with the passion as Titus had, but also we see how love moves in verses 18 and 19 amen because uh there is a praise for the brother amen there's a praise for the brother every one of us as we look and realize that titus and his companions amen uh there is a praise that should be for each and every one of them amen because i thank god as we go forward the bible says in verse 18 of second corinthians 8 and we have sent with him the brother Hey, there you go. We don't know the brother's name, but he says, we have sent with him the brother whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches. He had a good reputation. Well, I thank God for that wonderful love, how love moves in such a way that it ushers in a biblical love. Amen. I thank God that he tells us, he says, and we have sent with him the brother. Boy, I thank God every one of us when we look and realize how truly blessed that we are today. The praise for the brother Titus, amen. He was an unnamed man that was chosen to assist Titus in his trip to Corinth because of his testimony. For Jesus Christ in presenting the gospel a variety of guesses have been offered at his identity, but they are speculations But we know that they had a good name and they had a good testimony. Do you got a good name? Do you got a good testimony for the Lord? Hey, does your name trigger thoughts of a person that has? stubbornness moodiness and lack of discretion or Does it have one this good? You know what? I thank God somebody said one time that you've got your name from your father and it was all that he had to give So it's yours to use and to cherish for as long as you may live. And if you lose the watch that he gave you, it can always be replaced. But a black mark on your name, son, can never be erased. It was clean the day that you took it, and it was a worthy name to bear. And when he got it from his father, there was no dishonor there. I thank God every one of us need to give honor to the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. You know, I was reading about a gentleman, his name was Kyle Roat, that was in the NFL. I thank God, Kyle Roat Sr. was an all-pro National Football League player of the 1950s. He was a captain of the New York Giants football team for 10 years. After Roat's death, his son Kyle Jr. said of all the compliments and awards that his dad had received, one stood above all the others and the rest that he'd ever received. Listen. 14 of the elder roads former teammates named their sons after Kyle You know why because of his reputation because of his character that of his of his self a man boy You know what? every one of us that says so much about our name our character and our tech our Integrity and our testimony a man that somebody else would want to name their son after you Boy, I'm gonna tell you that says a lot Every one of us that we could go and do something like that, amen, is a tremendous blessing that we could take to those that are around us each and every day, amen. And so I thank God as we go forward, we're able to do the greatest things that are necessary, amen. And so I thank God it tells us, as we have praise for the brother, that love is not fulfilled in what we declare, amen. I thank God, but it's indeed and in truth, love is fulfilled in what we do. It's love is fulfilled in what we do, amen. And so I thank God. This brother had a strong testimony in the gospel. It means that he had a strong witness to the gospel. He not only lived for Christ, but he bore witness to the saving power of Christ and that Christ could and would change a person's life, transforming him into a new creature, forgiving his sins and giving him eternal life. His testimony was so strong that it was known throughout all the churches. I wonder, do you got a reputation like that? that you can usher in biblical love just by your name, by your character, by your integrity, that was praised for the brother, hallelujah. And so I thank God it said in verse 19, and not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord and declaration of your ready mind. Boy, what a compliment. What a wonderful compliment that this is, amen. that love is the evidence of our salvation a man is what he's trying to tell us love is not fulfilled in what we declare love is fulfilled in what we do and love is the evidence of our salvation by this we shall know that we are of the truth and we reassure our heart before him hallelujah and so i thank god Every one of us have a job that we can do. It was the passion of Titus. It was the praise for this brother. Amen. But I thank God. We also see that there were preparations and precautions that were taken by Titus and this brother. And I thank God later on another brother. Amen. Because they did things. They prepared. They did things to make things safe and secure in transporting these collections, these funds, that they would get safely to the dedication, amen. And so I thank God it was a readiness of mind that we read, amen, that they were talking about. They got prepared and precautious about what they needed. That readiness of mind of the Corinthian believers to help the Jerusalem church. Paul was taking precautions and he was making preparations in two key areas. of security and integrity, hallelujah. I thank God, even every one of us. Sometimes we have, we miss out on opportunities to serve the Lord because of several factors, financial bondage, ignorant of biblical truths. We're flooded, our schedule with too many commitments instead of doing things for the Lord, amen. We've damaged our testimony by sinful living and have not cleared our conscience. Hey, are you living like the devil outside of church and you know that you're wrong? And you need to make your conscience clear. You need to get ready and make things right with the Lord. You don't have to get saved all over again, but you need to repent of those things. We're physically and drained from poor health or stress from all of the schedules that we take on. Amen. We can become so worn down about serving Christ that we're overwhelmed by these issues. Amen. And so it's sad that we're not even able to fulfill the will of God. Amen. You know, every one of us, we need to spread the gospel and I thank God, take it to the saints out there and get ready because Paul made preparations for security, amen? But he also was taking precautions to guard his integrity, amen? That nobody could say anything. Billy Graham would never be in a room alone with another woman. that they would ever be any doubt, amen. And so I thank God each and every one of us, amen. We've got to be able to do the right thing, amen. And so here we look and realize that he tells us some of the things that we can do, amen. The third thing, let me back up real quick, and that is what love accomplishes. What love says, your need is God's priority. Others' needs are my priority. God's provision is your possession, and your possession are God's possession. How love moves us. Love is not fulfilled in what we declare. Love is filled in what we do. And love is evidence of our salvation because I know that if I'm saved, my evidence of that is going to be given away because I have love for the brethren. I'm going to try to take up and meet needs, amen. Well, I thank God. But hear what love accomplishes, amen. And so we've talked about the passion of Titus, amen, his earnest care. the praise for the brother amen that assistant that they sent along amen and so I thank God each and every one of us they were precautions that were done as well and so here we look in the verses that he's talking to us in verse 20 he says avoiding this that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us amen well I thank God here he's telling us avoiding this amen here is the Greek word stelo which means to set in order to equip to prepare oneself. Amen. I thank God. Against blame, which is a strong word in the Greek. Amen. The word blame. Avoiding this, that no man should blame. I thank God. From the root word of the Greek it means momos, which it means blemish, blight, disgrace, insult, or censor. Amen. Brother Paul was doing everything he could to prevent any kind of blemish. any kind of disgrace under his testimony. This attitude was reflected repetitively in the New Testament, amen. And so Paul was not shackled by being a man-pleaser when it came to preaching the gospel and taking a stand against sin, uh-uh. On the other hand, he was concerned about what a stand against sin was all about. I thank God. On the other hand, I thank God. He was concerned about what men thought when it came to the issues of finances and conducting financial matters, doing the right thing. He didn't want to do anything that would hinder his ability to reach the lost with the gospel. And you know what? Sometimes many of us disqualify ourselves because we have messed up our testimony And we can't do the work of the Lord because there's not enough people to have any confidence in us because we have messed up our testimony. You can get it back. It takes time, but you can do it, amen. I tell you, he could not allow his enemies to make any false accusations that might discredit and bring suspicion on him before the watching world. If he lost credibility or brought disgrace upon himself, his ability to reach the lost would have been greatly hindered and impossible. And I wonder how many of you are really concerned about that today? You know, I wonder, because I thank God as He tells every one of us, amen, that as He goes forward, listen, He says, providing, notice, providing, He tells us, the Greek word means to foresee or to think beforehand or to provide a care for a thing, providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. You know, I thank God, what happened to honesty? You know, I wonder, when people are not even watching, that's when it really tells about itself. Every one of us needs some honesty today that we do the right thing, amen. Well, I thank God. You know, some Americans have committed acts of treason, selling defensive and military secrets for the 30 pieces of silver to those who could rob us of our liberty, that have hold our nation hostage while they've sold out. We've got politicians out there that sold America out. And I tell you, they ought to be put in their place. God is going to get the justice on them. Married couples are struggling to keep their vows and choosing to divorce one another instead of endorsing biblical principles of forgiveness and restoration and humility and loving one another till death. You know, a person's word today has become almost as worthless laying the foundation of anarchy. Mothers, they shrink of their responsibilities to the unborn babies by slaughtering them in what should have been one of the safest, the most secure places in all of the world for their child, and that was the wounds that God gave them. But you let somebody come in there, and you let somebody. You needed to provide the honest things, amen, mothers? But you let somebody come in the womb and take your child. Lord, help us in America today because of the lack of integrity that places, I tell you, which nurtures the life that has become the graveyard and the butcher block, I tell you, out there today in politics. Lord, help us of the lustful living of the two million American babies each year that are entering the portals of heaven because they were aborted today. And why did that mother kill that baby? I wonder. They got some baby somewhere is asking that question. Why did that mother not love me enough to keep me? Because of the integrity crisis of the unstable Christians that will not make up their minds to totally sell out to the Lord today. They are double-minded and unstable in all their ways, as James said. Carnal Christians that are trying to serve two masters and that are failing. God's people need a strong dose of integrity, like some of the saints in scripture. Amen. The direction of integrity today, hallelujah. I thank God, every one of us. I tell you, I'm glad Joseph didn't get sold out, amen. And when he was tempted by Potiphar's wife, he refused to give in to her seduction, amen. even though that his own brothers did him wrong, amen. I thank God he went back and he was a forgiver of them, amen. I thank God when he was promoted and Egypt lay at his feet, he always did the right thing. Every one of us today, listen, we need to ask the Lord to give us direction in our integrity to do the right thing. Integrity is far more valuable than wealth and riches because of its value we should desire to own in all of our lives today, amen. And so I thank God. Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men, even when nobody's looking. Women, guard the wound. that the baby that God has entrusted you with, amen, because that's what God intended for us to do, to guard that wound, amen, to stand against this politicians out there that want to kill our older folks. They want to take the lives of our babies. They want to cut down the population. You know what? Listen, God has given us what we have today, amen. for a reason amen but I thank God y'all want to control everything that's out there today in the world and you don't have the authority I don't care how many millions and billions of dollars you've got you don't have the right to none of that that's God's authority it's not yours rich people whoever you are out there today I tell you I call you on the carpet amen and so I thank God we see the passion of Titus and the praise for that assistant of that brother to him and the preparations and the precautions for the security and that integrity but I thank God We look and we realize that the propagations and the precautions for that security, he said, was an active love that combats invalid doubts. Boy, I thank God, every one of us. He says, and we have sent with them our brother. Listen, and we have sent with them our brother. Here's the second brother. You got Titus that's helping Paul. Then you got the first brother that came. Now you got the second brother. Boy, I thank God. Ain't that good that people, it don't even tell you their names, but they got right in there and they contributed to the body of Christ. And we have sent with them our brother. Here's the second brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent upon the great confidence which I have in you. What a source, man. Thank God, the God is the Holy Spirit that ignites with our spirit when we trust Jesus Christ as our Savior, amen. And so I thank God, every one of us. Here is the persistence of the second assistant, amen, that we have here before us, amen. the tremendous blessing that we have. And so we begin to look and realize in verse 23, whether any do inquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellow helper concerning you, or our brethren be inquired of, they are the messengers of the churches and the glory of Christ. And I thank God, every one of us, that brings us, as it tells us, with our partnership of Titus and the proof of love, amen. And so he says, active love combats invalid doubts and active love reveals your renewed heart, amen. And so it brings us to the partnership of Titus and the proof of that love, amen. Well, I thank God, he says, wherefore shew ye to them and before the churches the proof of your love and of our boasting on your behalf. This is what love accomplishes, amen. Love, active love combats invalid doubts, amen. For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and he knows everything, beloved. If our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God. And so I thank God. Active love reveals your renewed heart. and whatever we asked we received from Him because we keep His commandments and we do what pleases Him and this is His commandment that we believe in the name of the Son Jesus Christ and love one another just as He has commanded us Here we see there's a passion, there's a praise for the assist, there's a passion of Titus, there's a praise for that brother to Titus, amen. There's a preparation and precautions of that security and integrity, and there's the persistence of that second assistant, amen. that has come along, amen, and I thank God that he's proved himself to be diligent, amen, to be earnest, amen, and so I thank God, every one of us, to be able to do that, that they care for the church with an earnest care, a reputation for the gospel and the testimony for witnessing, the representatives that are chosen by the church to In order to avoid charges of misconduct against the minister and a diligent in many things, but especially in the collection Well, I thank God for our deacons that are stewards that do all the things in the church a man, you know ministers and pastors They can't do all of that. They look to all of those ones that that are able to managers the head deacon Hey, man, I promote all of that. Amen. I step back. I'm the spiritual leader. I I step back and I let those deacons and them men of God do what they supposed to do. And pastor, don't get your nose in what you shouldn't be getting your nose in. You need to let the deacons do their job, amen. And you need to have faith, praise God. You're the spiritual leader, praise God. And so I thank God, each and every one of us, we've got a job to do. Active love demonstrates are abiding in God amen and so I thank God is what I'm saying it's that partnership of Titus and the proof of love that we have amen whoever keeps his commandments abides in him and he and them and by this we know that he abides in us by the spirit meaning the holy spirit whom what he his son has given us and so I thank God All of us worketh that that one and that selfsame spirit, dividing to every man, severe as he will, for as the body is one, and hath many members, all the members of that one body, being many are one body, so also is Christ. Boy, I thank God each and every one of us have a responsibility, and that is we partnership. There's a partnership of Titus, and there's a proof of their love, amen. And I thank God each and every one of us as we do that, there is always a blessing because we try to do the right thing when it comes to the church as we usher in Biblical love the church was to prove its love to each and every one of us by receiving the men Accepted both of them and their ministry and by helping the men fulfill the ministry and the church had to let the men present the mission project and then Contribute to it and so I thank God let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven amen and a new commandment that i give unto you that you love one another as i've loved you that ye also love one another by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples and if ye have love one to another what did he say paul said love worketh no ill to his neighbor therefore love is the fulfilling of the law if ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself ye do well but if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors." And so I thank God. We've told you what love says, what love moves, and what love accomplishes, because there was a passion, there was a praise, and I thank God there were precautions, amen. Well, I thank God of all the things that we begin to realize that there was a proving of the love that was done here, amen. Boy, I thank God each and every one of us. Active love combats invalid doubts, and active love reveals your renewed heart, and active love demonstrates our abiding in God. That there should be no schism in the body. It refers to disunion and disruption. But that the members should have the same care, one for another. Amen. Boy, I thank God. You know what I'm talking about? Boy, I thank God. Every one of us, when we take the Word of God, One of the most powerful things that he tells us is that he tells us that we've got to go forward and do the right thing. Amen. Each and every one of us, we've got to go with usher in the biblical love and be able to let love talk to us because what love says, what love moves and what love accomplishes can do a tremendous blessing in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, we praise you. and we thank you for ushering in biblical love for the many men and women they sing the songs they teach the classes they teach the Sunday school Lord they sing the songs without all of this they do the nursery Lord, they're the ones that clean the church. Every part, this message is dedicated to every one of them that usher in biblical love in the body of Christ because it takes every one of them, Lord, coming together in the body of Christ to make it happen. Every one of us contribute to bringing in the lost, not just pastors, not just deacons, but every single one of the body of Christ. And I want to thank you and I dedicate this message to every one of them of the churches that this goes out to, to usher in biblical love and to reach the unloved, to reach those ones that need the gospel truth brought to them. In Jesus' marvelous mighty name, amen.
