Continuing our teaching the mandate of heaven and my Texas get the gospel out. I Left off in st. John chapter 20 verse 21 Then said Jesus to them again Peace be unto you as my father has sent me even so send I you That ties in with Matthew and Mark's gospel But I'd say this early in part one Each gospel writer gives a different version of their walking with Jesus. In Matthew, it says, Go ye into all the world. Go ye therefore and teach all nations. In Matthew, Mark's gospel says, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believe it, now watch this, he that believe it what? The gospel about Jesus Christ. I said this in part one. The gospel is about one person and his name is Jesus. The good news is about what Jesus done for us. It's not good news to remind a person of what they're doing. They already know what they're doing. The good news is that Jesus can change them from what they're doing into becoming a new creation. The Bible says, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. That's good news. It's good news to know that you don't have to stay in darkness, but you can come to the marvelous light. It's good news to know that you don't have to stay bound, you can be set free. It's good news to know that you don't have to die and go to hell when you leave this planet, but that you can make heaven your eternal resting place. Because in John 14, Jesus spoke about going away to prepare a place for us. And if he go, he will come again and receive us unto himself. That's good news to know that you can spend eternity in heaven when you die, and you don't have to go to hell, and yet hell is a real place. It's good news to know that Jesus paid your sin debt so that sin won't be your ruin. Because the Bible says, for the wages of sin is debt, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So the gospel is about one person. Jesus Christ. Jesus died. He was buried. He rose again. He's alive right now, and he's coming back real soon. The signs of the times that Jesus returned is so near. What you see happening in the world today, my friend, is what the Bible said would take place. Wars, rumors of wars, famines, sicknesses, diseases, this COVID-19, monkeypox, all these different kind of pops, all these different diseases that's popping up. That's what the Bible told us what happened before Jesus come back. So the mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. Get the gospel out. Let men and women know that Jesus is their answer. Nobody, my friend, died for you but Jesus. Nobody paid your sin debt but Jesus. Nobody shed their blood on the cross for six hours but Jesus. Nobody was taken from a cross put in a borrowed grave and stayed there for three days and on the third day got up Nobody but Jesus Christ has done this for you my friend So the good news that you're hearing today is that if you are in darkness, you don't have to stay in darkness If you're bound you can be free if you're lost you can be saved Watch this if you're in sin, you can become a saint That's good news, regardless of what you're doing, how long you've been doing what you're doing. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, I didn't say in the building, I didn't say in religion, I didn't say in the church affiliation, you being in Christ simply mean you accepting Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior. So if any man be in Christ by accepting him, he is a new creature. That's good news, my friend. So the mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out, and the gospel is about one person, Jesus Christ. So in Mark 16 and 16, listen to what Jesus say. He that believe it, the gospel about what I've done for them, watch this, I want you to grab this, He that believe it what you're going to preach This is why the mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. This is why altar calls And i'm gonna deal with that again altar calls are not given because jesus is not preached Who are you inviting people to come to if you just gotten up and preach about money? Preach about getting a house. Preach about getting a car. Preach about everything but what Jesus has done for mankind. And you give an altar call, who are you inviting people to come to? So you see the Bible says, he that believe it. Jesus is saying this. He that believe what you tell them about me and is baptized shall be saved. Now watch this. The baptism come after you're saved. Let me say this again. You going down in water does not mean you're saved if you have never given your life to Jesus. You must, first of all, repent of your sins, invite Jesus to become your personal Lord and Savior. Then you now are a candidate for water baptism. So let me move on here. He that believe it and is baptized shall be saved. Now watch the other clause. But he that believe it not shall be damned. Nobody can be damned in heaven. So that lets you know right there, there are two eternal places, heaven as well as hell. And each place awaits whoever decides to come to them. Whosoever will, let him come. So Jesus is telling his followers, I want you to go into all the world and preach about me. Don't tell them about you, your testimony, none of that stuff. Tell them what I've already done for them. Now he that listen to what you're saying and they believe what you're saying Watch this and they embrace me and accept me. They're going to be saved But if a person hear the gospel that jesus is their answer and they decide i'm never giving my life to jesus My friend, I hope that's not you I hope that after you hear this message, if you wasn't saved, you will give your life to Jesus. Because notice in Mark 16, 15, if you believe not, you're going to be damned. If you die without Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you will go to a place called hell. And see, hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. But now if you want to live like the devil, you're going to live with him. But if you reject Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, while you're alive, you will lift up your eyes in hell. But watch this. Here's the good news. You don't have to die and go to hell. You can go to heaven when you leave this planet. Now let me show you how. You heard this message. The mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. The gospel is about Jesus Christ. It's good news, my friend, to know that Jesus paid your sin debt. Jesus loves you. Jesus cares about you. When Jesus was nailed to that cross, he had you in mind, my friend. I want you to take this personally. When Jesus was nailed to that cross, he saw you. Whatever your name may be, you might be listening to me right now. When Jesus was nailed to that cross, he saw you. He saw the condition your life is in. He saw the struggles you're having right now. He saw the problems you're facing. And he hung on that cross, knowing that he's about to pay the price to have you free. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. even to them that believe on his name. So the good news, my friend, whatever your condition may be in life, if you're in darkness, Jesus is your light. If you're in sin, Jesus is the savior. If you're bound, Jesus is the liberator. So the question comes to you today, what are you going to do? Do you want to make heaven your eternal resting place? I know you might say yes. But have you given your life to Jesus? If you said no, stop what you're doing right now. We're going to pray, my friend. It's decision time. Notice in Mark 16 and 16, he that believe in not shall be damned. If you reject Jesus Christ, my friend, and you die, you will go to hell. But the good news is that you don't have to die and go to hell. You can go to heaven. Let me show you how. Bow your head at this moment, my friend. It's decision time. If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, if you have never invited him, if you've never even heard what you're hearing now, you might've been sitting up in a church, heard a preacher preaching, but you was never given the invitation to give your life to Jesus. You're being given it today. If you're not saving, you know you're not. Don't fool yourself, my friend, because if you die and you know you're not right, you're going to hell. But let me show you how to go to heaven. Bow your head at this moment. Forget about everything. I want you to say this prayer from your heart. I want you to say, Lord Jesus. I believe you are the son of God. I believe you came to planet Earth. You hung on a cross. You shed your blood for my sins. I believe you died on that cross. You was taken off the cross and put in a grave for three days. I believe you rose from the dead after three days. I believe you're alive right now. Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins. wash me in your blood. I invite you into my heart to be my Lord, to be my Savior. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for changing me. Thank you for writing my name in the Lamb's Book of Life, signed with your blood. And Lord Jesus, I thank you for the good news I heard today What you've done for me on the cross I? Thank you for saving me I Thank you that the angels are now rejoicing in heaven Over what I've done on the earth today Lord Jesus Fill me now with your precious Holy Spirit Seal me unto the day of redemption Lord use me to be a witness for you. Use me to tell others what you've done for them. And Lord Jesus, I thank you for saving me and changing my life in Jesus' name. And Father, I thank you for your word. I thank you for waking up your people around the planet, stirring your people, giving us a burden for souls, a burden for the lost. because the mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. God, forgive us. Forgive us, I pray. Restore us. Put us back on course, because we have gotten off course. And God, thank you for your word. In Jesus' name.
