wonderful Holy Spirit We welcome your awesome presence as you moved upon the face of the waters move upon the hearts and the minds of men and women that will hear this word and Father I thank you so much for mass conviction through your spoken word in Jesus name to the book of st. Matthew's chapter 28 verses 18 through 20 and Jesus came Speak unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth Go you therefore and teach all nations Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever. I've commanded you and lo I I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." In Mark chapter 16 verse 15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. St. John chapter 20 verse 21 Then say Jesus to them again Peace be unto you as my father has sent me even so send I you Our teaching comes today the mandate of heaven and I want to use for a text Get the gospel out the mandate of heaven. In each one of the gospel writers, the wording may be different, but they really still mean the same thing. In Matthew's gospel, he said, go ye therefore and make disciples in all nations. In Mark's gospel, he said, go ye therefore and preach the gospel to every creature. And then in john's gospel, he says my father has sent me Even so I'm sending you It's almost like jesus is letting the church know today His main purpose of coming to the planet Was to pay a price for mankind Now there are many people on the planet As you're listening to me right now They're still in darkness. Imagine the millions of people that's in different countries that news don't really report. The news may report a lot of things on television, but when it comes down to people in darkness, people in bondage, people in captivity, the news on television don't report that. The fact that Jesus is telling Matthew, Mark, John About the gospel getting out my father sent me. I'm sending you the word go means to move from where you are to another place and notice in Mark 15 and 16 He said go ye into all the world go move from where you at and Going or going to a place you never been. I Go into all the world, and when you go, you have to preach the gospel. The mandate of heaven, my text is to get the gospel out. I'm not afraid today in this era that we're in that there's so much being preached from the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, I hear messages preached by ministers, preachers, different places. But what I don't really see is after people preaching, or I don't hear, altar calls being given. And for the last couple of months, I've been really disturbed and been really praying about this. And I said, Lord, I really feel that outreach is antiquated. I feel like outreach, altar calls, is a thing of the past. It's almost like I remember reading about Charles Finney. And I remember one time he was talking to these preachers. And he asked them a question. He say, why are you preaching? Very ironic question. Charles Finney asked some preachers, why are you preaching? One preacher told him, I'm preaching just to be doing it. And Charles asked him, he said, did you not know that you're supposed to be preaching to reach people for Jesus? The preacher replied, I didn't know I was supposed to be doing that. Now to hear that, this was in the 1800s when Charles Finney walked the planet. And for the response he got from this preacher as to he didn't even know why he was preaching. Let me bring it home today. in the 21st century. My question may come to a lot of preachers, why are you preaching? Are you preaching to reach people for the kingdom? Because I hear a lot of preaching today and it's impressing words, as Paul told the church at Corinth, enticing words of man's wisdom. But who's being brought to the king through what you're saying? This message comes today to challenge the church Because we have gotten way off in left field, the health and the prosperity message. Yes, people want to bless people. Yes, God wants to bless his people. Yes, he wished that we all prosper and be in health even as our soul prosper. But think about people that may come to a local assembly who is not in the body. Think about people that's not saved. who may come to a church, as we call church service, quote-unquote, and they're sitting there, but they're in darkness. Nothing is being addressed. Nothing is being said to show them how to come out of darkness into the marvelous light. You see that the purpose of this message here is to shake and to wake the church up. Because the mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. Now we need to define the word gospel. What is the gospel? The gospel is good news about what Jesus done. The gospel is not about what church you in. The gospel is not about who's your pastor. The gospel is not about how many members in the building where you go. The gospel is about what Jesus Christ has done for mankind. The gospel, good news, glad tidings, is about what Jesus did on the cross. He paid our sin debt. The gospel is about Jesus dying, shedding his blood on that cross. The gospel is about Jesus being taken down from the cross after he died. Put in a grave for three days on the third day. He rose up from the dead and watch he's still alive now The gospel is that jesus is alive right now ready to change men and women That's in darkness and bringing them to him who is the marvelous light That's the good news So when Jesus was telling in Mark, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person. Note, the mandate of heaven, get the gospel out. We need to push Jesus and stop pushing the bishop. We need to push Jesus and stop pushing the Pope, pushing these individuals that may be in positions. Come on, you ain't talking to me, but that don't matter. The gospel is not about who's your pastor, apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher may be. The gospel is about one person only. In Mark chapter 1, listen to this, verse 1. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It didn't say the beginning of the bishop. It didn't say the beginning of the preacher, apostle, a prophet, or evangelist, the beginning or the starting point of the good news of Jesus Christ. So when Jesus gave this mandate, he said, go into all the world, because remember, in verse 14 of Mark 16, afterward, he appealed unto the 11, as they said, and they was eating, And he corrected them or reprimanded them with their unbelief and hardness of heart because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen from the dead. And then he told those disciples, apostles, go into all the world. The mandate of heaven is to get the gospel out. I said this earlier, they'll multiply millions of people in different countries on this earth. Jesus even said in Matthew 24, and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for witness unto all nations. Watch, then shall the end come. Now, believe it or not, doors are opening around the world that's been closed. God is not just opening doors, he's taking the doors off the hinges, meaning the gospel is now able to get into places where people was hostile and fighting against it. The Bible says in Isaiah 21 and 14, there is a cry for wine in the streets. Think about that. There's not a cry for wine in churches. There's not a cry for deliverance in synagogues, in buildings. There's a cry in streets. The people are sitting in streets, as Jesus said in Matthew 4, the people were sat in darkness, saw great light. The mandate of heaven, Get the gospel out. We are pumping everything, the prosperity message, you know, you plant seeds, all of that's fine and well. And I sometime question a lot of things I watch people pushing and they're having this and they're having that to raise money. I remember a quotation, I heard a preacher mentioned, he said, churches are raising or saving money. But no churches are reaching out to save souls. No, we can't save no one. But if we give them the gospel, who is about Jesus Christ, and show them how Jesus can save anybody. The Bible says, for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. The mandate of heaven in my text, get the gospel out. In John 20, Notice this, verse 21, then said Jesus to them again, peace be unto you as my father has sent me, watch. Even so, send I you. Who is he talking to? Back then, the disciples. Who is he talking to today? If you're in the body of Christ, if you have given your life to Jesus, if you are blood washed, this applies to you. As the father sent Jesus, he's saying, I'm sending you. But the problem is people do not want to go. Stay tuned for part two of the mandate of heaven.
