All right, good morning, everybody.
Turn that down a little bit, please. And thank you. All right, so a little bit more
down a little bit more. So yes, this morning, we're in
a topic or a statement of fate of abortion. It says, we believe
that human life begins at conception, and that the unborn child is
a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified,
unexcused taking of an unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions
of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection,
birth or population control, or mental well-being of the mother
are acceptable. Amen? Not that they are acceptable,
but it says we reject that that is acceptable. That was a long
drawn out sentence, so I thought I'd clarify that. Amen. But yes,
as the pastor said, our statement of faith is based on the word
of God. Amen. Because before we get started,
we have to understand that it's not our opinions that we base
things on, or we should anyways. Amen. It's not our thoughts.
It's not how we feel. It's thus saith the Lord. Amen.
And us being Christians, we should fall in line with thus saith
the Lord. Amen. The rest of the world, having a creator of all
things without him was not created. should also fall in line with,
thus saith the Lord, amen? And as we look at things today,
I want you to keep that in mind that we are to conform to the
word of God, amen? Not let our opinions, our thoughts,
our, what we think, contort our life into what, how
we should be and what we think it should be like and so forth,
amen? But let's go ahead and get started on this. Go with
me to Proverbs chapter six, So where we're going to begin at
today, Proverbs chapter 6. Just going to try to make some
groundwork here. I don't know. I'll be all right. Proverbs chapter six, verse number
16. These six things doth the Lord
hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto him, a proud look, a lying
tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. Amen? and a heart that
devises wicked imaginations, feet that's swift to running
to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that
soweth discord among brethren. And I mean, of course, these
are six things that the Lord does hate, but I really want
to emphasize verse number 17 here. It says, a proud look,
a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. Amen. How much more innocent can we
think than a child, right? Or even how about an unborn child
at that, right? In God's view, that child is alive, amen? And
as it says here, these things that the Lord hate, hands that
shed innocent blood. In Leviticus chapter 17, I'm
gonna try to turn there real quick. Leviticus chapter 17,
verse number 11 if you follow me. says for the life of the flesh
is in the blood amen you guys think about this this infant
that we're talking about here and the the innocence and the
shedding of blood and uh the life is in the blood and i mean
it changes all the time like when it is appropriate to have
an abortion right when it's acceptable when the deadlock is and i mean
they can even have abortions up until I mean, as far as I
know, even after the baby is born, it seems like nowadays,
but I mean, even until the time that they have and they can have
abortion still, right? But think about a baby's heartbeat. Like, that's life, obviously,
right? It's a heartbeat. But why is that heart beating? Life, yeah, but what's the purpose
of the heart? What does it do? Pumps blood,
right? And here in our text, it says,
for life of the flesh is in the blood. Amen? So that's life,
right? And these six things that the
Lord hate, yea, seven, and that's hands that shed innocent blood.
Amen? It's an abomination to the Lord. But the point of this
is that the life is in the blood. Amen?
So if there is life, If it has blood, then it has life, amen? And if you take that life, I
mean, the Bible says that your life shall be given pretty much,
right? Amen? Go with me to Psalm chapter 139.
We're gonna look at God's views on life before the womb or before
birth. Yes, Psalm 139. But yes, and it's important here
because I mean, I understand that there's different circumstances
for abortions and things just like there's certain different
circumstances for all sin that has happened. And I mean, the
point of this is not to shame anybody who. accepts abortion
or shaming. Oh, I mean, if you accept abortion,
it is meant to shame you and correct you because this is the
word of God that we're teaching. But anybody that has had abortions
or thought about it or anything, I mean, it's like any other sin. I mean, we can't change it, but
we can get that right with God, amen? And that's what the point
of this is. It's not to bad mouth people.
It's not to shame anybody. It's to share with people the
word of God, amen, and what his views are on it. And actually,
let me, since I'm solemn, let me go to Proverbs again real
quick, because I had this thought also. Proverbs chapter 16, or
6, I'm going to go there by myself real quick. Proverbs chapter
6, it says, these six things that the Lord hate, the A7 are
abomination unto him, a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that
shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations,
feet that are swift to the running of mischief, a false witness
that speaketh lies, and that soweth discord among brethren.
Hey man, think about verse 19. Where does this thought of abortion
potentially come from, right? Who's the one that sows discord
among the brethren, right? Who is the one that bears false
witness and speak of lies? Who is the father of lies, amen?
You guys see what I'm saying? Like where these thoughts come
from? It's not of God that you should take that life because
God's the one that gives that life, amen? And that's where
we're gonna be getting at on here is regardless of the circumstance
on how this child is born or conceived or made, God is the
one that gives life. Amen. He's the one that grants
life and gives it a spirit and a soul and later turns into flesh
and so forth. We can't have life without God,
amen? We can't just make children, because there's all time, people
that want to have kids, they can't have kids. We see over
and over in the Bible where God makes women barren because of
certain reasons, right? We see it consistently that God
is the one that gives life, and you can't have life without God,
amen? Psalm 139, if you're still there, I need to find it real
quick. Psalm 139, verse number 14. It'll start at 11, actually.
If I say, surely the darkness shall, or no, yeah. It was starting at 11, I guess.
If I say, surely the darkness shall cover me, even the night
shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not
from thee, but the night shineth as a day of darkness, and the
light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins.
Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee, for
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are thy works. and that my soul knoweth right
well. My substance was not hid from
thee when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in the
lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance,
yet, being unperfect in thy book, all my members were written,
which the countenance were fashioned. when as yet there was none of
them. Amen. Man, my brain just went like
15 different places here. All right. Number 13, all right. For thou
hast possessed my reins. Amen. That means that God is
in control of your life. Amen. Thou hast covered me in
my mother's womb. Amen. That's God protecting that
life in the mother's womb. It says, I will praise thee for
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Amen. Who made them? says marvelous are thy works
amen he didn't say marvelous are my mom and dad's works right
marvelous are thy works oh lord amen and that my soul knoweth
right well my substance was not hid from thee when i was made
in secret amen before they even knew they was pregnant god knew
that that baby was going to have life amen before their family
knew that they was pregnant that god knew that that person was
going to have life hey i mean david here of course but it says
My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret
and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of earth. Thine
eyes did see my substance. Amen? That's when you're a sperm
floating around, right? You've seen my substance. There
wasn't even no form to him yet. There was a substance about him,
right? He says, thine eyes did see my
substance, yet being imperfect, and in thy book, all my members
were written. Amen? This book that was written
before the foundations of the world, amen? There's names written
down in this book. Your days are numbered in this
book, amen? God knows how long you're gonna live. God knows
what you're gonna look like. He knows how you're gonna live your life,
amen? He knows if you're gonna accept him or reject him. He
knows what he has planned for your life, amen? And I say plan
for your life, whether you're saved or not, because we see
over and over God using horrible people throughout the Bible,
right? I mean, you think about how he used the, what was it?
Not Nebuchadnezzar, who was the Chaldeans? Was it Nebuchadnezzar? But he used wicked people of
Babylon to bring Israel into captivity, right? Not that he
blessed Babylon and them, but he used the wickedness that they
were doing to bring his people back to him. You see what I'm
saying? So, I mean, whether good or bad or however this life is,
God knew what it was going to be, right? He says, 16. Thine eyes did see my substance,
yet being unperfect in thy book, all my members were written.
Right? Your members, your hands, your feet, your arms, your legs.
He knew what you was going to look like. He knew how long you
was going to live. He knew everything about your life. He said, which
encountenance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of
them. Right? Before you knew, before you seen,
God knew. Amen? Go meet Isaiah 44. And again, what we're looking
at here is God's view before the womb. or God's view of life
before the womb. He views life before you're born. Isaiah 44, verse 24. Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer. Amen, who's talking here? God,
right? Thus saith the Lord, right? And he that formed thee from
the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things. Amen. And that includes that baby that's
in the womb, right? That includes that conception that took place.
It may not have happened under godly circumstances. It may not
have been two people that were married together and so forth
and had this picture perfect picket fence life planned out.
But He God makes all things right
and stretch forth the heavens alone and spread it the broad
the earth by myself Amen, this is thus sayeth the Lord that
Redeemer and he that formed thee From the womb the Lord maketh
all things right? Why would he put those two in
the same sentence? Form thee in the womb and I make all things
Amen. Yeah, it took a mother and a
father to conceive that baby, but God gives that baby life.
Amen Go Jeremiah, chapter one. Next book over, Isaiah, Jeremiah,
chapter one, verse number five. Before I formed thee, he's talking
to Jeremiah, before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee,
and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified
thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations, amen? Before
right before he was born. God had a plan for him. Amen.
God knew that he was going to use these people use Jeremiah
to reach Israel, right? Amen. Jeremiah 20. I mean, there's
not a whole lot of preaching needs to happen here is we're
just God's Word, you know, Jeremiah chapter 20 verse 15. Curse be the man who brought
tidings to my father, saying, a man child is born under thee,
making him very glad, or, hold on. Yeah, look, we need more
context here. Yeah, 14. Curse be the day wherein
I was born. Let not the day wherein my mother
bare me be blessed. Cursed be the man who brought
tidings to my father, saying, a man-child is born unto thee,
making him very glad. And let that man be as his cities,
which the Lord overthrew and repented not. And let him hear
the cry of the morning and the shouting of the noontide, because
he slew me not from the womb, or that my mother might have
been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me. Wherefore
came I forth out of the womb to see labor and sorry. Yeah,
that's the lazy people's verse right there Wherefore came I
out of the womb to see labor, right? But but the thing here
is it there there's life in the womb amen cuz he says Because
he slew me not from the womb, right? Why would he have to kill
him if he wasn't alive, right? He says or that my mother might
have been my grave, right? Which means there's life in the
womb if there's gonna be a grave in the womb. Amen. I Jeremiah
20 no word there. Sorry. Let's go back to Job Yep,
Job good old Job Job chapter 3 a Lot of verses for this Job
chapter 3 Verse number, no, hold on. Oh,
I'm in Esther. I was like, there is no 16. No, I was in Esther by accident.
Job chapter three, verse number 16 says, or as in hidden untimely
birth, I had not been as infants, which never saw light. Amen.
Never seeing light, never being born, but there's life. Amen. Because there's blood. Because
there's a heartbeat. Amen? Luke chapter one. Y'all gonna get good at Bible
today. Luke chapter one. Verse number 44. There's 80 verses
in that chapter. Luke chapter one, verse number
44. Says, for lo, as soon as the
voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped
in my womb for joy. Amen? And I mean, I'm not a mother
or anything, but I've seen plenty of mothers pregnant. Amen? And
there is definitely a relationship between a mother and a child,
right? I mean, I remember even me, like, this is like, not a
vision or nothing. It's really weird. I had a dream
when Cordy was pregnant. Before we knew that he was going
to be a boy, I had a dream that he was a boy. And that was cool
because he was a boy. But like I said, there's nothing
to that or anything, but there's a relationship there, right?
And you think about like the mother intuition and things,
that's because they're connected with that child and such. But
the thing is, is that there's life there, right? As it says
here in verse number 44, as soon as thy voice of thy salutation
sounded in mine ear, the babe leaped for joy in the womb, or
leaped in my womb for joy. Psalm 51, back to Psalms. Psalm 51, verse number five.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive
me. Amen, this is kind of where I was at earlier. I mean, shapen
in iniquity, right? That means that they probably
weren't married, amen? Or that could have been another
wrongful situation, right? But at the end of the day, it's
God that gives life. Amen? And just like, and this
is David speaking here, right? Did God use David? Amen? Right? So as far as like what
is planned for this life that people want to get rid of, One,
this is God's life, amen? Because God gave that child life,
right? But you have no clue what God wants to do with that child,
amen? Think about if David was never born. Amen? Who else would have been
born if David wasn't born? Thank you. Jesus wouldn't have
been born, right? Or I mean, God would have worked
that out some other way. But you think about that, how critical
the life of David is, and I mean, just slaying a Goliath and leading
Israel. And I mean, it's just conquering
nations and things in the name of God and all that David did. But it didn't come from a perfect
marriage, right? It could have been from some
other horrible situation. I mean, and I'm just going back
and forth between David's actual parents relationship and what
some scenarios that can happen. You see what I'm saying? But
that's where the iniquity comes in. It says, Behold, I was shaped
in iniquity, and sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest
truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part shalt make
me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and so
forth. Verse nine, hide thy face from
my sin, then blot out mine iniquities. Create the clean heart, O God,
renew the right spirit within me. All right. but the point
is that there's there's life in the womb amen and regardless
if it's conceived correctly or incorrectly there's still life
in the womb and God's the one to give that life and God has
a plan for that life regardless what it's going to be like we
see as I was speaking about the Babylonian the thing that God
using them or God even using Satan I mean the thing about
Satan is a lot of people think that It's God and it's Satan,
like Satan's his own God, but he's not, amen? Satan can't do
nothing without God's approval, amen? And so for the good versus
evil, it's really just God, and if this one's gonna do evil,
God can still use that evil for good, amen? Psalm number, or
no, Galatians, go to Galatians. That'd be a good one. Galatians
chapter one. It's important to understand
that we're not in control, right? As much as we want to be in control
in life as we know it, we think it's our life, right? But it's
God's life. And once we get saved, we actually
understand that because our heart comes knit with God's heart and
his will. But that's not the case for most. Galatians 1, 15. Sure. Says, but when it pleased God
who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace. Amen. That's God having a plan
for Paul. Amen. As soon as he was born
here, or I mean before as we've seen in Jeremiah and Isaiah,
or actually that might be what we're going to Isaiah here, actually.
All right. Go back to Job now. He's like, man, you could have
really put all these together. Yes, I could have. We come up. Start. Oh yeah. Well, I mean our statement of
faith is, but there's a lot of verses this night on the statement
of faith too. Like I don't think this one is joke 31. Verse number
15. Did not he that made me in the
womb make him, and did not the one that fashioned us in the
womb? If I have withheld the, oh yeah, that's it basically.
But there's a God's view of life in the womb. We got one more,
Isaiah 49. And I'm sure there's a bunch more, but these are just
ones that I picked out. Isaiah 49 and you know the thing
is a lot of people that just like research I've done a lot
of people that have abortions they didn't even know that he
was pregnant until the second trimester. Isaiah 49, verse number one.
Listen, O Isles unto men, hearken ye people, from afar the Lord
hath called me from the womb. Amen. Just like Jeremiah, just
like Paul. I mean, just like me, just like
you, right? Amen. Amen, Travis. That's good stuff.
God is good. Listen, O Isles, unto me, and
hearken, ye people, from afar. The Lord hath called me from
the wound, from the bowels of my mother, hath he made mention
of my name. Amen. Before, I mean, that's
probably the name that's written in the book of life, is the name
that God gave us. It's probably not the name our parents gave us.
Anyways, verse number two, it says, and he hath made my mouth
like a sharp sword, and a shadow of his hand he hath, hid me,
and had made me a polished shaft in his quiver, hath he hid me,
and said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I
will be glorified." There's a whole lot there. His whole life is
planned out before he is even born. just like mine, just like
yours, just like anybody's, amen? He knew that he was going to
be a servant. He knew that he was going to preach his word.
He knew that he was going to glorify God, amen? In verse number
two here, he says, he had made my mouth like a sharp sword,
amen? He gave him a talent to preach.
He gave him a talent to prophesy and to share the word of God.
He says, In the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made
me a polished shaft. In his quiver hath he hid me."
There's so much about God having the life already planned out.
So much of the life already having a purpose. Amen? Not just to
be an inconvenience to whoever it is, or to cause danger, or
whatever the situation is. God has a plan for that life.
Amen? And you think about the big thing
everybody wants to throw out is rape. Well, what about rape,
right? Somebody gets raped and they
get pregnant, okay? And I mean, me being a man, obviously
I can't fully speak on that, but God can. Amen? God can fully
speak on that. And God says that He gave that
child life, amen? And life is in the blood. And
God hates those that shed innocent blood, right? Yeah, the child
was shapen in iniquity and sin did his mother conceive him,
amen? But God has a plan for that life, amen? God will use
that life. God has something. That child
could be a prophet. That child could be in the lineage
to bring the Messiah, amen? That child can do great and marvelous
things that we know not, amen? Yeah, it's going to take some
heavy counseling, I'm sure. Yeah, it's going to take growing in
faith and drawing closer to God and actually trying to find purpose
in that. But God gave that child life
and it's not up to us to take it. It's not up to us to figure
out if it's an inconvenience or not. It's not up to us to
get rid of it because we didn't give it. Amen. And that is a
real hard pill to swallow. And I mean, I can't even be in
the position. I mean, it's not possible. And
of course, you're like, yeah, you're a man, so you could say
that. But it's not me that's saying that. Everything that
I just said builds the case for that. Amen? And I'm not trying
to build a case. I'm just preaching the word of
God and trying to help you understand why we believe that human life
begins at conception. Amen? Because God gives that
life. and that the unborn child is a living human being. Amen? Because it has blood, because
this heart is beating. It says abortion constitutes
an unjustified excuse of taking an unborn human life. Abortion
is murder. Amen? We reject any teaching
that abortions and pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects,
gender selection, birth or population control, or mental well-being
of a mother are acceptable. Right? We reject all those because
We don't know what God wants to do with that child, amen?
And even if we don't agree with what God wants to do with that
child, right? I mean, this child could be a raging heathen and
destroy the whole city, but God's going to use that raging heathen
to destroy the whole city to bring others to Christ. You see
what I'm saying? Like, God can use anybody, but
if he gave that child life, he has a purpose for that life.
Amen? All right, let's move on to the
next point here. Let's look at the penalty of
shedding innocent blood. Go with me to Psalm 106. But yeah, and as far as the statistics
go for abortions due to rape, It's 50% of 5%, so 2.5% of all
the abortions are from what people want to make the biggest deal
about. Amen. Y'all are quiet. I'm the one
up here talking. I mean, y'all got to. It's harder on this end because
people hate this People don't want to talk about this. Amen,
but I mean they'll say the Lord not me. That's a good thing.
I'm just I'm just the voice box, right? Where am I going? Psalm? Yes Psalm 106 I get to talking just
get to flipping and not get nowhere Psalm 106 verse number 37 Says, yea, they sanctified their
sons and their daughters unto, or they sacrificed their sons
and their daughters unto devils, and shed innocent blood, even
the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed
unto the idols of Canaan. And the land was polluted with
blood. Thus were they defiled with their
own works, and went a-whoring with their own inventions. Right? Go to Joel, chapter three. Joel. It's a hard one to find. There
it is. Like even in the songs, Joel
Hoseo, Amos Obediah. Well, I mean, it just like, he
breathes over it so quick. Joel chapter three, verse number
19. Egypt shall be a desolation,
and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence
against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent
blood in their land. Amen. Joel, J-O-E-L. Yes. Egypt shall be a desolation.
Why? Because of violence against the children. Amen. And then we've seen in Psalm
106, I thought that held my place there, but it just talked about
the desolation that comes from people killing their kids, right? Psalm 106, verse 37 says, we
already went through it, but I'm there. It says, yea, they
sacrifice their sons and their daughters unto devils, amen.
Again, as we had talked about in the beginning in Proverbs
6, about, let me just go there and compare these real quick,
that's pretty good. Proverbs 6, a false witness that
speaketh lies, he that soweth discord among brethren. Hey man,
just think about that relationship between the mother and child
being the brethren. relationship there. The one that
sows discord, right? The one that's saying you don't
have time for this right now. This is going to ruin your career.
This is going to be a big problem between you and your family.
This is going to be a big problem with your friend. This child
is going to be a big problem, right? You didn't even want this
child, right? You didn't want this child. How
are you going to love a child that you didn't want, right? You never
even planned on having kids. And they sacrifice their sons
and their daughters unto devils, right? Because that's the one
that put the thought there, amen? And shed innocent blood. This says, the Lord hates those
that shed innocent blood, right? In Proverbs. Even the blood of their sons
and their daughters whom they sacrificed unto idols, them idols. That's them intentions with their
life, right? The ones that the child interrupted, amen? The
one that the inconvenience came in and now it intervened, right? But there's penalties to shedding
innocent blood. I mean, we see whole nations
that become desolate. We see people that become cursed
from it. But go with me to 1 Corinthians
here. We're gonna try to wrap this up real quick. 1 Corinthians
chapter six. Again, God's the one that gives
that life, amen? It's not up to us to decide whether
that life is of value or not, right? Because that's when we
think that we can kill it because it has no value, amen? Just like,
I mean, you can even take that to the other end where people
are in the hospital, right? Like, oh, just kill them, pull
the plug, whatever, you know, so forth, but. 1 Corinthians chapter six, verse
number 19. What? Know you not that your body is
a temple of the Holy Ghost, right? Of course, this is after you
get saved. Your body becomes a temple of the Holy Ghost. It says, which
is in you which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. But
this verse applies to everybody. For ye are bought with a price.
Amen? The price is Jews to shed blood
on the cross. Amen? Because when he died, he died
for the sins of the world. Amen? He didn't die just for
to save people. Amen? He died for the lost people also.
Amen? Every single one of us are bought
with a price. None of us are our own. I don't care if you're
lost or saved. Amen. You belong to God. Amen. He is your father
whether you accept him or not. Amen. Of course, he's not your
relationally your father, but he is your creator. Amen. He
is God of the universe. He is your God. He is God of
anything and everything you can think of because he is God. Amen. And so, We don't have the
choice to take a life that he gave. Amen? We don't have the
choice to do anything outside the word of God, honestly, because
it's God's word, God's world, God's lives. I mean, who are
we to say or do anything against it? Amen? It says, for you are bought with
a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's. Amen? That's lost or saved. I mean, like I said, I know in
verse 19, I mean, your body being a temple of the Holy Ghost, you
don't get that until you're saved, amen, because that's the earnest
of your inheritance, letting you know that you're saved, possessing
the Holy Spirit, amen, that confirms with you that you're actually
saved. But verse 20, you're bought with a price, therefore glorify
God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Amen,
go back to Isaiah real quick, chapter 45, we'll end on this
one. I don't remember what this verse
was. I may have wanted to put that somewhere else. 45. Verse number nine. Woe unto them that striveth with
his maker. Who's that talking about? Your
dad? No, God, right? Woe unto him
that striveth with his maker. That's God. Why is he your maker?
Because he's the one that gives life, amen? Let the potsherd
strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say
unto him that fashioned it, What makest thou, or thy work? He
hath no hands. Woe unto him that saith unto
his father, What begettest thou, or to a woman? What hast thou
brought forth? Thus saith the Lord, the Holy
One of Israel, and his Maker. Ask me of things concerning my
son and concerning the work of my hands, commanding me. I have
made the earth and created man upon it. I, even my hands, have
stretched out the heavens, and all their hosts have I commanded.
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways.
He shall build my city. He shall let go of my captives. And not for the price nor reward,
saith the Lord of hosts. Thus saith the Lord, the labor
of Egypt, the merchandise of Ethiopia, the Sabians, men of
stature shall come unto thee, and they shall be thine. They
shall come after thee, and the chains they shall Yeah, and so
forth. Amen. But the thing is that God
gave the life, right? He is the maker. Amen? And then
we also see here that God obviously has a plan for the life. Amen? And there's a purpose for the
life, but at the end of the day, there's a life and we are not
in control of that life, amen? Because that life, just as your
life, just as the person wanting to have abortion, just as whatever
is going on, say it was a rape situation, God, that life is
God's life also, amen? Because he's the maker, and without
it, without God, we can't have that life, right? So with abortion,
what we have to come to the understanding of is, there's an ultimate question
that has to be answered and that's who's in charge? Amen? Are we in charge or is God the
creator of the universe and creator of all things without him was
not anything made? God is obviously, right? And so how do we figure
out what's right and what's wrong? by what God says. Amen. I mean,
it's that simple. And I mean, yeah, there's things
that we don't agree with things that we should think should be
different. But this isn't our world. This is God's world. Amen. And this is God's life. Amen.
Your life is God's life, right? We were bought with a price.
We are not our own. Amen. Therefore glorify God. Amen. But yeah, so that's gonna wrap
it up as far as the abortion topic goes. I mean, it doesn't
matter what we say or what we think or how we feel, it's what
God says. And every single life is a life because God grants
life. Amen? And God hates the shedding
of blood. God hates the shedding of innocent
blood at that. But abortion is going to be the
most innocent blood can be shed, right? Because that child, it
never had any chance of anything. So, I mean, it's like obviously
innocent, but. That's abortion. It's not our
choice. Amen. If God gave that life, there's
a purpose for that life, regardless how sticky the situation is,
how bad the circumstance is. I mean, in studying for this,
there was a lady that stood up at the end, and she gave a testimony. She was actually one that was
a rape victim's child. She had talked about how life
was hard with her mom for first few years. She remembers that
her mom was real disconnected from her. She didn't really want
much to do with her and so forth, but. that woman ended up loving
that child, amen? And she was happy that her mom
ended up loving her, but she remembers that, but now she's
being used of God to be able to reach women that have that
similar situation, amen? Because there is a purpose for
that life, amen? I mean, like I say, even if this
child grew up to be a horrible person, this lady grew up to
be a great person, right? She grew up seeing that God can have
a purpose in that, right, amen? And again, that statistic that
everybody wants to use, I have it here somewhere. I took a screenshot
of it. But it is 5% of rape victims, and 50% of that underwent abortions. So 2.5% of all these claims of,
well, I mean, that's their whole case, right, is for 2% of all these situations, but the
thing is, and even the complications thing, that's even less. It's
a, what was it? Not the, like as far as the mother
being in danger, that was like, it was a decimal almost. I don't
remember. Anyways, I can't speak on that because I don't know
enough about that, but I did research it. But what I'm saying is that as
we read in Proverbs 6 and as we know about Satan, the one
that plants these thoughts and these motives and intentions
in your head and being the father of lies that tells you it's okay
to kill this child, it's okay to take this life, it's okay
because it's an inconvenience to you and you're not going to
be able to live what you want. feeding into that pride of life that
you have. Amen? That's just feeding into that
sin nature that you already possess, but then at the end of the day, if you look at Job, for instance,
Satan wasn't allowed to touch his life. Amen? He could harm
him, he could take everything from him, but he couldn't touch
his life. Amen? And that's why he uses you to
do so. Amen. That's why he gives you
these thoughts in your head that you could take this child's life.
I can't take this child's life, but you can, right? And we have
to be real careful in all of our decisions that we're led
by the word of God for one, but then two, that we're actually
teaching the word of God because that's why there's so much opinion
and so much debate and so much thought on this topic is because
God is out of the picture. Amen. Right. I'll try to make this
quick, because we're over time. So, a couple statements, and
then we will, are we still live? Okay, a couple statements, and
then we'll cut the live feed, and we'll do just a little bit
of discussion. It's gotta be real limited. So,
because of time. So, first of all, you hear, my
body, my choice? Wrong. Wrong. It's not your body. for two reasons. One, the baby's
not you. It's an individual person. And
two, the body that you have that is quote unquote yours isn't
yours. It belongs to God. So you hear that often. You hear about women's reproductive
health. What ought to be done for women's
reproductive health is it ought to be celebrated. And in that
sense, reproductive health, health means it does what it was designed
to do, not changed to not follow through
with what it was designed to do. But again, as Brother Travis
said, we just have to go by what God says. And not only that,
even from a humanist perspective, which we don't subscribe to,
but even from a humanist perspective, it's wrong to take life. And
then there's argument of what is constituted as life. And people
argue, well, it's the heartbeat or it's the blood. We believe
that life begins at conception. It's the moment that DNA is actually
made a new person. And so that's when it's conception. It's when you have two becoming
one new person. It doesn't matter if it's the
morning after, it doesn't matter if it's the moment after.
