Jesus Christ. Thank you for tuning us in as
we get into the wonderful Word of God. For the next few minutes,
let's take the beautiful Word of God and share it with each
and every one of you as we have a sense of anticipation to take
the Word of God and to listen to its truth for each and every
one. and servants for Christ. For
we preach not ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves
your servants for Jesus sake. Here I hope and pray that each
and every one of you are having a blessed day. The Lord is better
to us than we are our own selves. Take your Bibles over to the
wonderful book of the weeping prophet, Jeremiah, chapter 32. Jeremiah, chapter 32, verse 17. I want to talk to you for a little
while about embracing his limitless power. Embracing his limitless
power. The word of God says, ah, Lord
God, behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great
power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard
for thee. Let's pray. Father, we come before
you looking at your immense power and grace. And as we look at
your word, open our hearts and minds to recognize the magnitude
of your ability to overcome any obstacle. Help us to trust in
your promises, to surrender our limitations to you. And Lord,
thank you for saving us by your marvelous grace, writing our
name in the Lamb's book of life. And for the many that are lost,
our heart goes out to them. I pray God that this message
will start a question, a convicting power in the life of a lost sinner
to bring them into your family. Lord, help us to put on the whole
armor of God May we be able to withstand the wiles of the devil
and all of the attacks that he has through us. May your spiritual
armor guide us and may your truth and your faith strengthen us
as we embrace the limitless power of a mighty God in Jesus's marvelous
mighty name. Amen. You know, there's a moving
story about a man named Michael who faced an overwhelming challenge. Michael was a small town mechanic
who found himself responsible for his community's only car
repair shop after his father's passing. The shop was on the
brink of closing due to debts, declining business, and Michael,
despite his fear and lack of resources, prayed fervently for
guidance and support. What do I need to do? Am I going
to close down the shop? Do I need to give up and quit?
He reached out to his community and to the amazement, the town
rallied around him, offering both financial help and encouragement. Through that unwavering faith
and community support, Michael was able to turn the business
around. His story serves as a very powerful
reminder that even in our greatest struggles,
God's power can turn the impossible into possible. And so in the
coming days, sometimes even in history or the human race, there
may be some brief periods of peace and prosperity in this
world. There will also be a lot of things
that will happen in the remainder of this year. There's always
will be wars and rumors of wars, strife and division, lawlessness
and violence, injustice and immorality, oppression and atrocities. But
tragically, as time marches on, evil will be heaped upon evil
until the Lord can bear it no longer. And when that day comes,
God's hand of judgment will fall upon the earth and every human
being will give an account before him. But until that day comes,
We all must live in this corrupt, wicked world. And as we walk
day by day, we must make sure that we're living victoriously
by conquering all the temptations and the trials that this world
and life have to offer. To be conquerors, to be victorious,
one thing is essential. Listen to me, great faith. We
must have strong faith in the Lord. Possessing great faith
is the practical subject When we look at the scripture, when
you look back up in Jeremiah 32 verse one, the Bible says
that the word came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the 10th year
of Zedekiah, king of Judah, which was the 18th year of Nebuchadnezzar.
And I'm glad when we look all the way back until the day comes,
we all got to live in this timeframe and trust in the Lord to get
through. all of the circumstances that
we deal with. But I highlighted verse 17 because
this particular verse began to speak out to us. And through
verse 17, it said, O Lord God, behold, thou hast made the heaven
and the earth by thy great power and stretched out on, and there
is nothing too hard for thee. One of the first things we see
is the majesty of God's limitless power. I'm glad Jeremiah had
a strong unshakable faith in the Lord and in prayer. And right
after handling the deed of purchases to Baruch, Jeremiah lifted up
his voice to the Lord in strong prayer. Apparently he prayed
in the presence of everyone in the courtyard stock where he
was chained up, stockade. And lying ahead was a horrible
future, years of captivity in Babylon. And Jeremiah's prayer
demonstrated his personal faith in the Lord. And only the Lord
had the power to deal with the crisis facing the nation of Israel
and to fulfill the promises to restore the nations to the Jews
someday in the future. Great faith was needed to believe
that God would bring back the Jews who were to be exiled and
scattered all over the world. Through Jeremiah's prayer, the
prophet hoped to reinforce the need of the people to put their
trust in God's power and promises. The unshakable faith Jeremiah
had in the Lord's power and promises. Jeremiah acknowledged about seven
facts about God's power. In verse 17, that it started
off, God's power created the universe. Nothing's too hard
for the Lord. He can do anything He chooses
to do. And the creation of such a vast universe proves that God
can do anything. And so God uses His power to
show love and execute justice on earth. In verse 18, He pours
out His love on thousands of people, but He also executes
justice and punishment on everyone that commits sin, both parents
and children. God's power is seen in His very name. He's the
Lord of hosts, the Lord of every living being in the universe,
both in the heavens and on earth. He's the Lord Almighty. He's
got the power to achieve great purposes, to do mighty works,
in verse 19. And God's great purpose and mighty
works are clearly seen in the history of Israel, recorded in
the pages of the history over the nations, as the pages of
power are achieved through great purposes, they do mighty works.
And God has the power to see the ways of all people and to
reward them according to their deeds. God power has performed
miraculous works in behalf of his own people down through history.
And these works are seen in the signs and the wonders done in
Egypt, all around the world, among all the people of the human
race. The miraculous works are seen in the great deliverance
of Israel from Egyptian slavery, in his great gift of the promised
land to the people. God's power has brought the present
judgment on his people, the invasion, the siege of Babylon, and the
army. the people's disobedience and their refusal to obey the
commandments. The Lord was using the Babylonians as his agent
of judgment. God, not Babylon, was bringing
this disaster upon them. And after praising the power
of God, Jeremiah said that everything happened just as God had said
it would. And the siege ramps had been built around the Jerusalem
city. The Babylon army was about to
conquer the city. The people were doomed, and the
prophet closed his prayer by admitting that he did not understand
why God had asked him to buy the field at such a time of judgment. What a dynamic example of prayer
for us. When facing the circumstances
of life, we should follow the example of Jeremiah, and seek
the Lord and his strength, and seek his face continually. You
know what? We see the majesty of God's limitless
power. No promise is too hard for God
to keep. Titus 1.2 says, in hope of eternal life, which God that
cannot lie promised before the world began. Every promise in
the Bible is guaranteed by God's unchangeable nature. If he has
made a promise, he'll keep it no matter how impossible it seems.
And not only the majesty of God's limitless power that no promise
is too hard for God to keep, but no prayer too hard for God
to answer. because Jeremiah 33 says, call unto me and I will
answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou
knowest not. God invites us to call on him in prayer. He assures
us that there's no request too great or too insignificant for
him to address. And I'm glad that no promise
is too hard for God to keep, no prayer too hard for God to
answer, but there's no problem too hard for God to solve. Because
Isaiah said, for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither
are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens
are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your
ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. God's ways and thoughts
far surpass ours. Even when his solution seems
mysterious, his power is always sufficient to solve our problems.
And so, when we embrace his limitless power, we see the majesty of
God's limitless power. But secondly, the mystery of
man's limiting power, because how you can limit God Psalm 78
verse 41 says, yea, they turned back and tempted God and limited
the Holy One of Israel. Just as the Israelites limited
God by their unbelief, we can also restrict His power in our
lives through doubt and lack of faith. That's how we can limit
God. That's how, that's an unwilling
spirit. Because Matthew 23 verse 37 says,
You see, God's blessings and interventions are often hindered
by our unwillingness to accept his help and guidance. And so,
we see that through the mystery of man's
unlimiting power, how you can limit God, an unwilling spirit,
and an unbelieving heart. Because in Mark chapter 6, verses
5 and 6, the Bible says, And he could there do no mighty works,
save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk and healed them,
and he marveled because of their unbelief, and he went round about
the villages teaching. You see, Jesus was limited in
his works, by the unbelief of a people. Our lack of faith can
prevent us from experiencing the full extent of God's power. And so, when we look and realize
what God wants to do, I'm glad that God declared that he would
demonstrate his power by executing judgment against Judah, that
he appointed Babylon to be the agent of judgment that handled
Jerusalem over to Babylonians because of the people's sins.
And so, God also said that he would demonstrate his power by
setting his people free from captivity and returning them
to the promised land. And so, God had power to guarantee
the return, the restoration of his people, And he emphatically
declared that he would bring his people back from captivity,
restore their nation. And his word, his promise, the
Lord had always kept his word. Not a single word of promise
will ever fail to be fulfilled. This was the wonderful assurance
that God gave his prophet in the face of a dark, dismal day
when the enemy was outside the gate, building the siege ramps
to come in and overtake them and destroy them. And so the
power of God is indeed limitless and he can fulfill every promise
answer every prayer, solve every problem, and yet we must also
recognize that our own unbelief and unwillingness can limit our
experience of His divine power. Let us strive to overcome these
limitations by embracing faith and surrendering our doubts.
And as we face challenges, remember that there's nothing too hard
for God. His strength is sufficient for all of our needs. His love
is boundless, amen. And so, what promises from God
do you find challenging to believe? How can you strengthen your faith
in these promises? You need to reflect on those
specific promises in the Bible and recall the instances where
God has been faithful in your life, in my life. Strengthen
your faith by meditating on the word and recalling the past faithfulness
of days. You know, are there any prayers
that you have hesitated to make because you feel they're too
big or they're too impossible? How can you approach God with
greater confidence in your prayers? I believe I remember all of the
prayers that I've asked in a general sense, and I've always remembered
that through those prayers that God has always answered what
our needs are to be met, not my wants. When I approach God,
I approach Him with confidence, knowing that He hears my prayers
and that He can answer every prayer, no matter how significant. But I'm glad that He takes His
own time. when he answers those prayers. A lot of them may not
be answered in my time frame, but what areas of our life may
be limiting God due to unbelief and unwillingness and how that
we can overcome these limitations. I believe the specific areas
where doubt or unwillingness have held you back, you need
to pray for help to overcome those barriers and to take steps
of faith to align your actions with your trust in God's power.
Because this message is about encouraging and challenging every
one of you to fully trust in God's omnipotent nature while
examining how our own limitations can hinder our experiences of
His power. And so, remember, You need to
embrace his limitless power because there's nothing that he can't
do. The majesty of God's limitless power, amen, that we all go through,
praise God. And I'm glad that when we look
at our lives and begin to realize what he can actually do for each
and every one of us, amen, I'm glad that we see the mystery
of man's limiting power, amen. And so through these times in
our life, Amen. We can be able to overcome whatever
problems come our way. Amen. Lord, we thank you for
the reminder of your limitless power that we trust your promises
to believe in your answers to the prayers, to have faith that
you can solve any problem we face, remove any doubts, unwillingness
from our hearts, empower us to fully embrace your boundless
strength. May we walk in faith, witness your mighty works in
our lives, and Lord, we can embrace the limitless power that you
have for us and surrender to you to guide us into your truth
and the faith to be strengthened in your name, Jesus Christ, we
pray, amen. you
