Paul has been instructing Titus to set in order the church in Crete. For the church to function properly it must have unity amongst the body. In Titus 3:13-15 we see that this applies to both the local church, as well as a part of the universal church. Genuine believers need to follow Paul's instructions to love the church and be unified for God's glory.
