Reconciliation in Christ

Paul continues, in the book of Colossians, to states the blessings that the Colossians Christians possess in Christ. The blessing is Reconciliation through Christ. Reconciliation clearly implies hostility and a state of war between people or countries. The Bible teaches that sinful man is in rebellion against a holy God. This rebellions manifests itself in an alienation in mind and life against God and His Law. The work of Christ establishes peace and harmony between sinners and God when they repent and believe in Christ for forgiveness.
