Hello, this is Hackberry House, and welcome to God's Word. Father, in Jesus' name, thank you for the book of Revelation. Thank you for your holy book, the Bible, and for the wonderful times we've had together over these past months studying this book, Lord, and learning from you. I pray that today will be no exception, that you will teach us something that we need. In Jesus' name, Amen. Well, friends, this is it. This is the last of our series of Bible lessons that cover the entire Bible. It's incredible that we are now finishing this. It seemed like we just started in one sense, and yet it has been a long series of events. We're in the book of Revelation. And let me say once more about Hackberry House that you can get there. It's a website. Just get there by your computer keyboard typing in myheartcry.net. When you go there, you'll come to Hackberry House and you'll see the library page and click on the library page. Scroll down to it until you see these Bible lessons and print them out and use them with us. If you're just now tuning in to us, you might want to go back way to the beginning. We've got 129 of them as of today. 129 lessons covering the entire Bible story in as quick a fashion as we could. It is a survey. It's not detailed as many studies would be. It's to get people interested in the Word of God. And if that is your interest, I encourage you to go back there and where we began and systematically study the Word of God. You've been telling yourself you're going to do this. Why don't you start doing that right now? And we're in the book of Revelation. As I said, we're on the second side of Lesson 52. Lesson 52, which is Revelation 4 through 22. We're actually up to Revelation 18 right now. We may not need the entire hour that we normally spend. Let's go to Revelation 18, cover some text. In fact, let's just cover all of the text this time and then we'll cover all of the questions and say our goodbyes. We studied last time the description of Babylon the Great. We don't have to and make a big deal out of this, all we have to do is read the scripture on this and to find out who she is. She is that great city. That's what it says. This woman riding the beast is a great city which reigns over the kings of the earth. Well, there was only one city in John's day that was reigning over the kings of the earth, and that was Rome. That city of Rome is the woman. but not just a political city, but a spiritual city, because she's called Mystery Babylon. Here's Rome being called Babylon. What do they have in common? They had religion. They had the sorcery, the sorcery that deceived all the nations, a false religious system that was there from the Tower of Babel, men trying to get away from God. And so, all the way down through history, Babel, Babylon has stood for false religion and it was in Egypt, it was in Greece, it was in Medo-Persia. All the world empires had this false religion and Rome has had it also. Rome unfortunately tried to mix Christianity with this false religion and we know what the outcome of that has been. And we're going to see worse things come. I don't believe we've seen Babylon in its fullness yet. I believe we will. Now, that was chapter 17 describing Babylon, but chapter 18 talks about the destruction of Babylon. It's interesting to me that the book of Revelation, which goes from one little subject to another, has spent so long on this one subject. And it's mentioned in chapter 16, the fall of Babylon, and it's mentioned in chapter 14, the fall of Babylon, and it goes on into 19 also. 17, 18, and 4 verses of chapter 19. All dealing with the fall of Babylon. This is a major event in this book. Because Babylon is the world religious system, which is connected to the world political system. And it's all just going to fall. And it's going to fall into the hands of Antichrist. All of this is about the destruction of Babylon by the Antichrist. That goes back to chapter 17. Let's see, they're going to hate the beast. The ten horns, which is the revived Roman Empire under Antichrist, are going to hate this woman, which is Rome. And they're going to destroy her. And destroying her, they destroy everything. They destroy the whole system. And that's the mourning that you are reading about in chapter 18. They're all mourning about this. Babylon the Great is fallen. And while all of this is tumbling down, God is still calling His people out of them in verse 4. God's always calling His people out of Babylon. He called them out in the book of Isaiah. He calls them out in the book of 2 Corinthians through the Apostle Paul. He calls us out today. He will call them out one last time here. And He reminds them who Babylon is. She's the one who punished the saints. She's the one who caused blood of the saints, who committed fornication, who spread poison throughout the earth. There's nothing of compassion that we need for this horrible enemy of the Lord. Verses 9 on, though it's not compassion, there is much sadness here because the kings of the earth, we're talking about these ten kings that destroyed her and all these other kings too, are going to weep for her, standing at a distance and saying, Babylon, Babylon. Will it be the real Babylon revived? Will Rome finally transfer its religion back to the original Babylon? You need to stay tuned for that one. I'm not sure, but it looks like to me that there's some unfinished business with the old city of Babylon that never really totally got what Isaiah and Jeremiah said it was supposed to get. Are there two Babylons in the last day vying for power? I'm not sure I can answer all these things, but keep your minds open to everything that the scripture says. Don't lock into just one scripture. Be sure that all the scriptures combined together make sense to you. Then you'll know that you have a doctrine. Then you'll know that you have the truth. Some of these things have not been revealed to us yet, because we haven't needed them to be revealed to us yet. But there is a mystery here with Babylon for sure. But it's referring here to Rome, At least in 17, the mystery part, when he describes 1718, that great city that reigns over the kings of the earth, that's Rome. Sitting on seven hills, that's Rome. But some of the things that are talked about in chapter 18 remind you of that old city of Babylon too. So we've got to keep the mystery open, try to open it up and ask the Lord to open our hearts, but understanding that we just don't know everything yet. 18, towards the end of the chapter, you see the finality of Babylon's fall. You see the same kind of thing that's spoken in Jeremiah 51. And I'd like you on your own to read Jeremiah 51 if you're going to pursue this. Read what the Old Testament prophets said about Babylon and read what John is saying about this Babylon and see the striking similarity between it. There's something that we haven't totally seen yet. And it could be that Nebuchadnezzar, the one who thinks he's Nebuchadnezzar, Saddam Hussein, today, his craze to rebuild Babylon may have some significance that we haven't noticed before. You remember in the book of Revelation the emphasis on the river Euphrates, which just happens to be in the land of Iraq. There's something about that part of the world that still has some unfinished business. As I said in chapter 19, heaven exults over Babylon. Great voice, hallelujah, salvation, glory. It sounds like a wonderful prayer meeting going on here. Why? Because Babylon's been judged. So they're still talking about Babylon here. The 24 elders rise up, the great multitude in heaven, praising God, thanking Him for everything that He's done for bringing about the judgment of Babylon. Now, Babylon is done. We're almost at the very end. Remember, Revelation goes back and forth and you've got to know exactly where you are in the story to be sure that you know what you're talking about. Babylon is not the final thing that happens in world history because the ten kings are still alive. They're the ones who destroyed Babylon. And since they're the ones that destroyed Babylon, they're still here, and they're going to do one more thing, you know, in chapter, well, here we are, in chapter 19, I'll show you what they're going to do. They're still alive. Jesus has not come yet. He hasn't come. But Babylon's gone, and it's almost at the very end of the sixth seal, very end of the seventh trumpet, just about at the end of the seventh vial. It's almost closing time, and that is when God announces the marriage supper of the Lamb. I want you to see that, because we have people teaching us that the marriage supper of the Lamb was seven years before this, at the beginning, or three and a half years before this, at the beginning of the tribulation period, and God's people are all just caught up, and they're up there having this great supper, and the people down here are suffering. Can you imagine Jesus partying with part of his church while the rest of the church is suffering? It doesn't make sense to me. Here it says, Now it's time. Let's be glad and rejoice and give Him glory for the marriage supper of the Lamb has come. The marriage of the Lamb. And his wife has made herself ready. And it talks about how she's going to be dressed and ready for this great occasion. Verse 9, write, Blessed are those who are called to that marriage supper. And he said, these are the true sayings of God. Notice in verse 10, he falls down to worship. And he's told, don't do that. I'm your fellow servant. And I have the testimony of Jesus. That's all. I'm one of your brothers in one sense. You know, that same thing, happens over in verse 9. of chapter 22 at the end. See that you do not think because he falls down to worship at the feet of an angel and an angel says to him, no, I'm just a fellow servant. We're in this thing together. You're serving the Lord as a human. I'm serving him as an angel. I'm of your brothers, the prophets. We're all brothers in this. Here's an angel relating himself to the human cause by calling himself a brother. calling himself a fellow servant and a prophet. I'm one of those who keep the words of this book. At this stage of the game, we're all on the same level here. You worship God, he says. And the same thing happens here. Worship God. Because, he says, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Prophecy is all about Jesus. When you prophesy, you're going to know all about Jesus too. So, we're all in the same thing here. Then we have in verse 11, the coming of Christ finally. He's come a couple of times in one sense already. We've seen things leading up to that in the wrath of the Lamb and here He is and they look around and they see the wrath and they know it's Jesus coming. But here's a more clear description of it now as we finally come towards the end of the book. And he's gone back and forth and back and forth because he's had to describe so many things on the way. But here it's pretty clear that heaven opens, the white horse, that's Jesus this time, faithful and true, sitting on it, talks a description of him, and then it says in verse 14 that the armies of heaven are with him. They're all with Him. That's the saints. He's gathered them together according to Matthew 24 from every wind of heaven. They're coming now. This is the rapture. Yes, this is the rapture. The armies of heaven coming up to be with Him and now marching with Him. And I believe the angels too. We have a mighty, mighty host now coming as the world is about to destroy itself. Jesus comes and takes care of the enemy once and for all. It says he strikes the nations with the sword that comes out of his mouth. All he has to do is speak the word. And he's going to rule them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress. We just read about that, didn't we? In chapter 14. Chapter 14, the winepress. Oh, there's such an interconnectedness in this book. It's very difficult to read it all at one time and see it all at one time. But God gives you grace as you keep going back and finding what's in there. This is Jesus coming. He's called King of Kings. He's called Lord of Lords. Now, that's blasphemy if He is not God. But He is God. That's why He can call Himself this. And here comes another angel to announce another supper. First we're going to have this supper and then the marriage supper. This supper is the supper of the great God. This is going to come even before the marriage supper. We're going to get all the negative out of the way before we sit down to eat. And it's a flesh supper. It's a supper for animals of all kinds to come and birds. Birds, I'm sorry, it's talking to birds. Birds that are going to be allowed to eat the flesh of kings and captains and all the powerful on earth, free and slave, great and small. A lot of people are going to die when Jesus comes. That is the ultimate, final wrath of God and we will be spared from that. Now you'll notice that we are spared from the wrath of God even during these things because in many of the cases, all the tormenting things and the torturing things, are meant for the people of the earth, and we are told that. Don't harm those that have the seal of God on them. This is only for these other people, and so on. So there's protection from the wrath when it's being poured out, even before Jesus comes. But the ultimate protection is this rapture, yes. He calls us up, and then, with Him, we conquer the earth. But Jesus actually does the conquering here, because it says the beast, The kings, the armies, all now gather together. Those who hate Jesus the most are now gathered to make war against Jesus. The devil knows what's going on. He's a spirit person. He sees Jesus coming and realizes, this is the one that I've got to conquer. He really has it in his mind that he will be able to conquer Jesus. And he's, of course, so wrong. This battle has already been fought and won in the spirit. We'll see it acted out someday. The beast was captured. With him, the false prophet, the Antichrist, the one who served the Antichrist, political and spiritual head of the earth, are picked up and cast alive into the fire. Cast alive into the lake of fire. All the people, the rest of them were killed just by the Word of God. That's what it says in verse 21. They're all killed just by the Word of God. And yes, the birds are filled with their flesh. Before even Jesus almost touches down, this battle is done and this supper is over. We're ready for another supper here soon. Now the flow continues. Here comes that angel down from heaven again like we saw in chapter 9. when he came down from heaven and he had the key to the bottomless pit. That same one comes down and he has that key again and this time he's got a chain. This is all symbolic in looks, but in actuality, this is going to happen. Wherever and whatever this pit is, it is a reality in the spirit world. We have to see it in physical terms with a chain and all. We know no chain can hold a devil, but there are spiritual chains that God forges and He knows how to hold the devil in place. And He's going to do that. He's going to put him back in that pit that he came out of and keep him there for a thousand years. Notice the term a thousand years is used here and in verse 3 and in verse 5 and in verse 6 and let me see where else. But I hope I don't have to tell you that if it's used that many times, It means a thousand years. It's not figurative language. You don't have to do that with the Bible. In fact, the devil will be bound a thousand years, that he can't deceive the nations anymore. Now after the thousand years, he is released. That's an incredible story, but let's go first to chapter 20, verses 4 through 6, talking about the first resurrection. I was stung by this today because it talks about those who are martyred, those who have suffered for Jesus. Philippians talks about the fact that it's been granted to us to suffer for Jesus Christ. We're told if we suffer with Him, we shall reign with Him. That is what this passage is talking about. the ones who have suffered with Christ. Those are the ones who are going to take part and be blessed and holy in this first resurrection. Have you suffered anything for Jesus? It is my understanding that a person who is truly born again, truly full of the Holy Ghost, is going to be a person who eventually is going to be led into the path of suffering for Christ. And if there's never any suffering for Christ in our lives, I don't believe we're going to be a part of this first resurrection. And I believe there'll be greater reigning for people who have had greater suffering. It's not what did you do, but what did it cost you? Keep that in mind as you serve Jesus today. Is it costing you anything to serve Him? And then the thousand years are over. The reign is not over. The reign is just beginning. But that particular reign, R-E-I-G-N, is over And now, believe it or not, even though Jesus and all of his people have been reigning all over this earth and making it a wonderful place to live, there have been people escaping from the direct reign and going here and there and gathering together, gathering together, slowly and surely. I thought there were maybe just a few hundred of these malcontents, but if you look into verse 8 of chapter 20, their number is as the sand of the sea. There are that many people still left in the earth who don't love Jesus, even with His perfect reign here. Their judgment will be just. The devil will be released to go to his people, find them, organize them into an army to come down to where the camp is. I love that. I love that. The camp of the saints. The camp of the saints and the beloved city, the very headquarters of the kingdom of God is right here on earth. It's here now, physically. And the camp of the saints is all surrounding that city. And here comes the devil and all of his people, once more surrounding, once more to be defeated. You see the repetition, how things are different but things are the same. Year after year, the devil now himself goes where the false prophet is and where the beast is, which tells you they all have spiritual bodies by this time. They will all be tormented day and night forever and ever. Whether human or spirit, they are prepared. God has prepared something for them where they will experience punishment forever. And many, many others will be there. In fact, anyone not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into that lake of fire. How will they be put in the Book of Life? Well, God puts them there when Jesus comes into their heart. Is there another classification afterwards? I don't think so. Verses 11 to 15 talk about the great white throne judgment that is after the thousand years. We've already had the judgment of the saints. We've already had some division going on. But here now, all the dead that have ever been, even though they're already condemned, they're coming for a final public judgment, and then they will be sent into the lake of fire. Is there anybody saved at that judgment? They're judged according to their works. I don't know for sure, because it does talk about the book of life here. And it says anyone not found was cast into the lake of fire. Will there be people found in the book of life at that time? Doesn't seem to me, but I don't know for sure. I don't know, and I want to be very careful as I tread through this. But I do know this, At least this is what we're taught, that a man who tries to go to heaven on his own works, to be with God on his own works, is judged already. When you're turned aside from the judgment of your sin by Christ, then you've got to have your own sins judged your own way. And the only other judgment available is eternal death. And that's what I understand from these verses. This is the resurrection. of damnation that Jesus talked about. The resurrection of life is a thousand years before, but now it's time for the resurrection of damnation. In chapters 21 and 22, there's conflict in my mind what it's talking about. I know that because Revelation goes back and forth, that chapter 21 and 22 could be talking about the beginning of the millennium, and some of the passages seem to talk about how it's all just starting with Jesus coming down and all, but then there are other passages that talk about no temple and no son needed, and these kinds of things, and I'm wondering, and it seems to me ultimately that this is not the thousand years, but just after the thousand years, we've got a new heaven now, we've got a new earth now, we've got the new Jerusalem, but it's coming down out of heaven. Why is it coming down out of heaven if it's been sitting on the earth for a thousand years? I don't know the answer to that question fully, except it seems like maybe he's going back and repeating some of the imagery as of before, so that you could see where this city came from, and he's laying some groundwork here, But so much of this seems to be talking about eternity when it talks about the New Jerusalem. And the description of the New Jerusalem is just breathtaking in chapter 21. And it has the glory of God in it, verse 11. It's got all these precious stones and the gates and all the different things. But then as you read on, You see something very unusual that maybe you've never seen about eternity before. By the way, it's not that we go up, but that God comes down to be with us. He really did love this whole planet Aftro. I don't know that we're the center of everything. I believe He has many other things He's doing. He's infinite. He's infinite. He can be doing many things at one time. But this is one thing He will do, and He loves doing. He loves the people of Earth. He always did. And He's going to show us how much He loved us in that wonderful day. But it talks about it in the end of chapter 21, some very unusual things that you would not expect to see in this eternal thing that we talked about, you know, going to heaven, going to heaven. We talk about going to heaven and playing our heart, but the Bible doesn't paint pictures like that. It talks about some nations that are still going to be there. where there's no temple. Now, I know there's a temple during the millennial time, because Ezekiel saw that temple, painted a very clear picture of it. But during this time, there's no temple now. God himself has come in an even greater way. The whole kingdom has been delivered to God the Father. There's a unity in the Spirit now that I cannot comprehend. But it's there. But there's still some folks that don't seem to be a part of the whole thing. They're not bad. The curse has been lifted. Death is gone. I'm assuming sin is gone, too, somehow. But they're not reigning either because the people of God reign over them. Now, the enemy is destroyed, as I said. Death is destroyed. And those who reign will continue to reign forever. But there are going to be people who are governed forever, too. There are going to be people who will accept Jesus' rule, remember, during the millennium. And are they given eternal life? Or do they just... We know that there's no more death. Well, are they... It says there'll be no more curse. I guess that's the final thing that I need to say about that. If there's no more curse, and death is that curse, and death has been destroyed, then these people do live forever, but they aren't reigning. Well, you know what? We're so far ahead right now. We're a thousand years at least ahead of where we need to be. We'll just leave it in the area of speculation, but verses 22 to 27 give you some thought about what it's going to be like. And it's not like what they told us. Not totally, even though it's beautiful. Look at chapter 22. Pure water of life. Some of the stuff we saw at the book of Genesis at the beginning, you're seeing here again. And that's what God intended from the beginning. The tree of life. There it is. What's it for? For the healing of the nations. This will be especially helpful right after the wars and after the tribulation, the trouble that's coming to earth. The healing of the nations. No more curse. The throne of God's there. I ask you, where's the throne of God? You say, in heaven. But I'm just telling you in verse 3, the throne of God is going to be in this city. And the throne of the Lamb. And they will see His face. Do we want to miss this? No, we don't want to miss it. That's the end. The rest of this is warning and detail. But that's the end. That's the end of the revelation of what's coming from chapter 6 all the way to 22.5. There it is. Take it. Pass it on. Be sure you understand what you're passing on, by the way, when you do that. Look at verses 6 to 11 of chapter 22. He said to me, who is he? I believe it's still an angel talking, but every time an angel's talking, you understand he's saying the words of Jesus. He's telling John what Jesus wants to be said. Verses 6 to 11, and even 12, can be confusing if you don't understand that. Angels are not God. They're not divine. They are spirit beings and very powerful and wonderful. But they are not divine and they'll be the first to tell you, as they told John here. First, he says in verse 6, these words are true and faithful. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants. Behold, I am coming quickly. What? Wait a minute. Who's saying that? Let's go back to verse 6. The Lord God sent His angel to show His servant a thing which must shortly take place. And what did He tell me to tell you? He told me to tell you, I am coming quickly. This is not really Jesus speaking directly in verse 7. It's the angel quoting Jesus. Be careful that you understand that. Jesus is not speaking. Although it sounds to John like Jesus, like something divine, because when John hears that, he falls down to worship. before the feet of that angel. And the angel right away says, wrong person, I'm not God. You worship God. I'm a fellow servant. And he said, don't seal the words of the prophecy of this verse. Remember, Daniel was told to seal it. You've got a long ways to go yet. John is told, don't seal it. This is troubling, I know, to us who live nearly 2,000 years later than when this was spoken. It's troubling to us to hear these men saying, He's coming quickly. As in verse 12, Jesus is quoted again. My reward is with me. I'm coming. I'm the beginning and the end. I'm the first and the last. He says, Behold, I come quickly. Surely, I'm coming quickly. Well, we know that when he comes, he's going to come very quick. It'll be in a twinkling of an eye. We know that. But these men seem to believe, and all through history, God's people have believed, he's coming now. Any day now. I believe it too. I believe we're so very, very close to all of the things in Revelation just beginning to happen. I believe it's so close. You look out into the world that we live in and everything seems to fit these days. And I believe that that must be how the Lord wants us to live, with this anticipation, with this excitement, knowing that our personal exit to these things could happen at any moment. We just don't know how close we individually are. But Jesus warns His people to Be faithful, in verse 14, so that they can be a part of this city. Because outside the city, now, you know, that city exists right now. When you come into Christ, you came into the city in one sense. In the Spirit, you're in that city. It's done. It's a done deal for you. And outside it are all these evil things, verse 15. I believe all of that evil will be taken away one day. But I, Jesus, now Jesus himself speaks to us. Verse 16. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you. You see? It's the angel saying these things, but the angel is speaking the words of Jesus. He says, I want my angel to speak for me here. And so if a messenger would come up to your door and say, I have a message from someone, and then he'd begin to say that message, it would sound like that other person was talking. You see what we're talking about here? I am the root and the offspring of David. I am the bright and morning star. And then that classic invitation in verse 17, the spirit and the bride say, come. Let him who hears say, come. Let him who is thirsty come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely, whosoever will. I know. I know what Calvin taught. I know what Paul taught about the four-ordination of God. I know that. But it also says, whosoever will. If you are wise, you know how to put both of those thoughts into one theology and believe them both with all of your heart, because that is revealed to us from heaven. The mind of God has seen and planned everything, but part of that plan is whosoever will. It's your choice, my friend, and mine. Anyone that adds to anything in this book, and some people have said that by extension, anyone that adds anything to the whole Bible, that might be stretching it a little bit. I don't want to say something that God never said, but this book was placed at the very end. And it is true that if you add to God's Word, I think it's obvious that that is not a good thing to do. And it tells you the curse that's put on you if you add or take away from the Word of God. I believe that is a principle that can be carried out through the book. Well, he who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming quickly. And so we say to him, Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Yes. the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Genesis 1-1, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. To Revelation 22-21, the grace, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The beginning and the ending of this book has now taken place. Let's just do the questions on this and then we're finished. Number 60, what call to God's people before Babylon's destruction, of course, come out of her? Why is there such mourning over Babylon on earth? Well, there's no one there to fornicate with. In the spirit, in the natural, in physical too. Their luxuries are all gone. The merchandise won't sell. Why is there such rejoicing in heaven? Because vengeance has been taken on the evil people of the world for killing apostles and prophets, true men of God. Anybody that's ever been killed has been killed because of false religion, he's saying, because of this system that ruled the world for gain. How extensive had Babylon's destructive influence been? 1824 says that all, all, had been slain. That's what it says. Let me read that again. In her was found the blood of prophets and saints and of all who were slain on the earth. You see, people die because of the curse of God on them and they get this curse from the world. They drink it in freely. How extensive is the praising in heaven? Well, there's loud voices. There's the living creatures, there's the elders, all the servants of God, great multitude. That's all in 19, 1 to 6. The praising in heaven, that is, after Babylon falls. Now that the whore is out of the way, what can take place? A marriage supper. Do you see that connection? The prostitute's gone. Now we can have a true wedding, a true love. What lesson has John taught twice? don't worship angels, 1910 and 229. Number 67, what seems to happen directly after the announcement of the wedding feast? Then is the second coming. 68, why the announcement of another feast? So that's the judgment on all flesh. 69, how do we know the beast is a man? He's cast into a lake of fire. He himself is cast into it. Not a system, but a man. Number 70, how long is Satan incapacitated and the earth ruled by Christ and his saints? That's a thousand years. Number 71, what requirements do John and Paul give for reigning with Christ? Well, blessed and holy and suffering and martyred in this case. 72, even after a thousand years, what is Satan up to? Deceiving, the same thing. Coming against Christ. 73. When and what is the second resurrection? That's the resurrection of damnation. Is there to be any grace after the Millennium? It doesn't seem so. Not that sort. Who goes to the Lake of Fire? Anyone that's not in the Book of Life. The non-believers. Where is the true Jerusalem now? It's in Heaven, according to 21. 2 and 9, Galatians 4, 25 and 26. How are the 12 tribes and the 12 apostles honored in the New Jerusalem? Their names are on the foundations and the gates. 77, what is unusual in the measurement of this city? Well, it's cubed. It's not two-dimensional. It's three-dimensional. It's just as high as it is wide. Oh, an incredible city. That's why it's called the Mountain of the Lord. It's such a high place. Reaches up into the heavens where God is. That puts a lot of things in perspective, doesn't it? Why is there now no temple? Because in the New Jerusalem, the Lord is the temple. And no sun or moon. The Lord is the light. Now, who sent this angel to John? Jesus did. Jesus speaks through him. And that's the answer to 81 also. Who is speaking? How do you explain that? Well, an angel is speaking, but he's speaking for Jesus. How is John's instruction the opposite of Daniel's? Daniel was told to seal. John is told, don't seal. Daniel was told, this isn't going to happen for a long time. John is being told, yes, the time is at hand. These things will begin to unravel. We've seen things like this down through history. 83. Explain, I come quickly. Well, He comes suddenly. He comes without delay, not necessarily just soon. 84. The final warning of Scripture, don't add and don't subtract. Well, my friends, I don't know how to end it any other way except to say the Lord bless you again. Stay faithful to this Word. And please understand that this is not the end at all. This is the beginning. When you have studied the Bible in such rapid succession as this and you still have your lifetime ahead of you, you obviously are going to have to study a lot more and a lot more deeply. And I trust that God will give you a teacher who will help you to do that, who will take you into the depths of the Holy Spirit through the Word. And be sure that you have both of those entities in your life, the Holy Spirit to illuminate you and the Word to educate you. One without the other won't work. But I've probably said a lot of that already. You have a wonderful day in the Lord and it's really been good sharing God's Word with you today and these last 18 months. God bless you.
