Everlasting God, to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under this heaven. A time to be born, a time to die, a time to break down, and a time to build up. As engineers, the leaders here know a thing or two about building up. Colonel Alexander Bullock has spent the better part of his professional career building up both his family and our nation. And now after a job well done, this Snoqualmie native is retiring in this state of Washington, to the precious souls who built him up all these years, Judy, Gavin, and Alexandra. Lord, God bless Colonel Bullock and his family with your salvation, love, and presence in the years ahead. Lord, I also pray for the incoming commander of the Seattle District, its 53rd commander, Colonel Catherine Sanborn, I pray for you to bless her and her husband, Colonel Mark Sanborn, with salvation, fortitude, and peace. The mantle of leadership is a heavy one, so may they receive your strength for a strengthened marriage as they seek together to strengthen our nation. Finally, The brilliance of a building testifies to the wisdom of its unseen builder. So likewise, O God, the brilliance of these lives today and the complexities of this universe all testify to the wisdom of their unseen creator. Be magnified, O Lord God. It is in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
