Welcome to Feeding His Sheep podcast brought to you by A.T. Stewart Ministries. I'm your host, A.T. Stewart. Today is Friday. So we're having flashback Fridays where I reach back into the archives of sermons that I preached some 20 years ago, and we seek to see what God would say to us in his word. So take your Bible and let's listen to God's word together. During the Christmas season, our thoughts are turned toward angels more than any other time of the year. Many of the Christmas cards that you received probably had angels on them. Angels appear throughout the Christmas story. Angel came to Mary and told her that she was going to be the mother of the Lord Jesus. Angel came to Joseph and told him to take Mary as his wife. The angels came to the shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus. Many Christmas trees, perhaps yours as mine, has at least one angel on it somewhere, probably many angels. Most manger scenes that you see have an angel somewhere. And even It's a wonderful life, has Clarence the angel in it. Stories of angels are not only found in scripture. In fact, Billy Graham in his book, Angels, God's Secret Agents, mentions the story of a celebrated Philadelphia neurologist who was awakened one night by a knocking at his door. And upon going to the door, this little girl was there who was rather shabbily dressed told him about her mother who was very ill and she was very upset. And so he, out of his normal routine, did decide to go with her to see her mother. And upon going to the apartment house where her mother was, he did find her mother to be desperately ill with pneumonia. And he was commenting to the mother about the intelligence and bravery of her young daughter who had come to his house. And upon that, the mother said, oh, my daughter died a month ago. Her clothes are there in the closet. So he went over and opened the closet, and sure enough, saw a coat and shoes, and the coat that he saw in the closet was the exact same coat that he saw on this little girl. And he felt the cold and it was dry and it was warm and it had been snowy and cold outside. So he knew this cold could not have been outside recently. Missionary John Payton was a missionary to the New Hebrides Islands a number of years ago. And he tells the story that one night the native Indians surrounded the mission headquarters with the intent of burning them out and killing them. He and his wife were the only ones there. And they knelt in prayer and prayed all night, just waiting for the fires to start. And the next morning they looked up and the natives were gone to their amazement. A year or so later, the chief of the tribe became a Christian. And so the missionary, John Payton, was talking to him and asked him about that night a year ago when they had intended to burn out the missionaries and kill them. And the chief said, well, you know, now that you mentioned that, I have a question I want to ask you. Who were those tall, shining men with their swords drawn that were surrounding the mission headquarters? Hundreds of them. And we saw them and we were afraid to go any farther. And so stories like that are told. Now the question comes up, are these just hallucinations? Are these illusions? Are these lies? Well, I don't think so. Now I don't believe every story that one tells about angels are true, but at the same time, I don't think we can discount all of them either. And many of the things that we see in movies about angels are not true. Every time a bell rings, an angel has not gotten his wings. Unlike what the movies tell us, people do not become angels. Angels do exist. The Bible and experience prove this out. In Hebrews chapter 1 verse 14, the scripture says, angels are ministering spirits sent out to help Christians. Now if you were to go on the internet this afternoon, you could find many websites that have to do with angels. Most of them from a New Age perspective, not from a Christian perspective. And so there is a great need for us to have truth on this subject. And you and I know that there's only one ultimate source of truth, and that is God's Word, and what God says. And so we will see this morning what God says about angels. Because that's the only thing we know for sure is true. Not what you read on the website, but what God says in His Word. And you have a place in your bulletin to take notes. I provided an outline for you there, and let me encourage you to fill in those blanks, and that will give you some information to take back with you. I'll not give you an opportunity to look up all of the verses. I will read them to you. We'll look up a few of them, but you'll have them there that you can look up later if you would like. Now, the first thing we wanna know is, as we ask the question, what are angels? We see they are created beings. Psalm 148 says, praise him, all his angels. let them praise the name of the Lord for he commanded and they were created now stress a created beings they have not existed forever God alone is eternal they are created now they were part of the first aspects of God's creation. I believe in Genesis 1-1 when it says, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. That when He created the heavens, this is when He created the angelic host. And so they were some of the first of God's creation. Secondly, they are spirits. As we see in Hebrews 1-14, they're called ministering spirits. Now as spirits, they have no flesh and bones. That's why they are usually invisible. There are angels around us right now. Many angels, but we don't see them. Because they're invisible, they're spirits. But there are times in scripture where angels do appear to people. And they appear many times as you and I would appear, as human beings. But even in these appearances, they do not have flesh and bones as we have. You remember the resurrection of Jesus at the tomb. The ladies came, and the scripture says, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling apparel. Now they appeared to be as two men to these ladies, but the scripture bears out that they were actually angels. At the birth of Jesus, the angels appeared to the shepherds. They could see them. Now, as spirits, they are neither male nor female. They don't have a male or femaleness about them. They're spirits. Remember, they don't have bodies. Now, it's interesting that in Scripture, they always, without exception, appear as men. Unlike again our modern literature and pictures where there are there women and little children little baby angels Children angels three or four year old angels, but in scripture they always are represented and appear as men Another thing we see is that they do not marry They do not marry they do not procreate they are not a race of Scripture or theologians referred to them as a company a host Jesus said in Matthew 22 for in the resurrection they neither marry or given in marriage, but like the angels in heaven Jesus was talking about us and our resurrected bodies. We will not marry nor will we procreate have children angels do not have little angels and Again, they are a company, a host. They are not a race. When God created the angels, he created the sum total of all angels that there will ever be at the point of creation. Angels can only be at one place at one time. They are not omnipresent. They cannot be everywhere at once. But they are much freer to move than we are, because they're not limited by the physical bodies that we have. I believe they can move at the speed of light, because again, they are purely spirits, and they are not hindered by time and space as we are, because of our physical qualities as human beings. But they cannot be everywhere at once. We also see from the scriptures that they are personal intelligent beings. They are distinct from mankind. We do not become angels when we die. But they are intelligent beings. They have a superhuman intelligence. But even Jesus says their intelligence is limited. They do not know the day that He will return. But having been around since creation, you would imagine they do pick up a lot of information and they are very intelligent. We see also that they are mighty in strength. Superhuman strength. Psalm 103 says, Bless the Lord you His angels, mighty in strength. who perform His Word. Now let me give you some examples in Scripture of their superhuman strength. They rolled away the stone from the tomb of Jesus, which weighed probably over four tons. You remember an angel came to Peter when he was in the maximum security section of the jail, the dungeon. And the angel came and released his chains from him. The angel opened the locked doors and two or three different layers of doors to get him out of the prison. In the Old Testament, one angel in one night's time destroyed the whole army of Sennacherib. And that probably amounted to over 100,000 soldiers. And one angel destroyed the entire army in one night. Another thing we see is that they have emotions. We under C2. They have emotions. As personalities, they experience emotions and feelings like any personality would. We see that because they praise God. And that is an emotional thing to praise God. We see the scripture speaking of them rejoicing You remember Jesus said that the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner repenting and coming to Christ? So they experience rejoicing, so they have emotions. Now, how are they organized? How many are there? Well, we don't know how many there are, but Scripture says they are innumerable, a great multitude. In fact, over in Revelation chapter 5, John sees the angels and he comments and writes this in Revelation 5 11 He says I looked and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands Now in the Greek, the word myriad means innumerable. You and I could say infinitely numbered. There was an infinite number. They were without number. They were more than one could count. And so there's no way of knowing how many angels there are, only that they are an innumerable company of angels. Thousands upon thousands, million upon millions, billion upon billions, you could go on and on. We don't know. They are organized, though, in various ranks, much like an army is organized. Now, we first of all have one archangel mentioned in Scripture. Only one. And that archangel is Michael. And he is a warrior angel. Now, Michael is mentioned several times in Scripture. Once in Jude 9, where he is disputing with Satan over the body of Moses. We're not given much information about why that dispute went on. Probably because, as you will remember, God hid the bones of Moses because knowing the Israelite people, they would have worshipped those bones. And so God hid Moses' bones when he died. Perhaps Satan wanted those bones in order to make them available to the nation of Israel that they might worship them. But we don't know for sure. We just simply know that there was a dispute and Michael simply said, the Lord rebuke you. It is Michael that we see in Daniel chapter 10 that stood against the forces of Satan with Daniel as Daniel prayed and the answer was dispensed to his prayer as soon as he prayed. But there seems that some demonic forces were hindering his prayer coming to him, the answer, and God dispersed Michael to come and to help deliver that message to defeat those forces of Satan. And so he is called the archangel. In Revelation 12 he is mentioned again where we see there is a war in heaven and Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon that we know to be Satan. But only one archangel mentioned in scripture, Michael. And then there's the angel Gabriel. He is the messenger angel. He appeared four times in scripture, and each time he appears, he's bringing good news to somebody. So if he shows up to you, be glad. First, he appears to Daniel in Daniel 8, and he interprets the vision that Daniel has that talks about the end times. He appears again in Daniel chapter 9, and tells Daniel the succession of kingdoms that will culminate in Christ's return. We see him appearing in the New Testament hundreds of years later when he appears to John the Baptist's father, Zacharias, and tells him that he and Elizabeth will have a child. It's Gabriel that appears to announce that. And then Gabriel appears to Mary and announces to her about the birth of the Lord Jesus and that she has been chosen to be the mother of the Lord Jesus. Then we have the cherubim. That's plural. Cherub is singular. The i-m is the Hebrew form of a plural. So the cherubim seem to be the guardian angels. They guard God's holiness. In fact, you remember in the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve had sinned, God drove them out of the garden, and He did not want them to come back into the garden, let's say, eat of the fruit of the tree of life. He put angels there in the cherubim of the angels that He placed in the garden with their swords drawn to keep Adam and Eve from coming back. That's in Genesis 3, 24, and I'll read that for you. So he drove the man out and at the east of the Garden of Eden he stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the Tree of Life. The cherubim also show up around the throne guarding God's holiness. In fact, in Exodus 25, when God is giving instructions to Moses on how to build the Holy of Holies and how to build the Ark of the Covenant, and you remember God said, now you do it exactly like I tell you, because it's a pattern of what's in heaven. And I want this tabernacle on earth to be a pattern of what's going on in heaven. And so God tells him, now when you build the Ark of the Covenant and you build the top of the Ark, the lid of it, I want you to put two cherubim on that lid facing each other. and I will meet you between the cherubim. They were there facing each other, guarding the holiness of God. As a side note, it seems that Satan was one of the cherubim, one of these, before he fell from heaven in his rebellion against God. Then we have another class of angels, the seraphim. Again, that's plural. These could be called the serving angels. They stand around the throne of God, singing praises to Him, ready to serve Him. Now let's look at the passage in Isaiah chapter 6. It mentions the seraphim. Isaiah 6. Beginning with verse one. In the year of King Uzziah's death, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of his robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above him, each having six wings, with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called out to another and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. And the whole earth is full of His glory. So here we have the seraphim continually praising God. Six wings, two they covered their feet, two they covered their face, and with two wings they speedily execute God's commands. And then in Colossians chapter 1, Many theologians believe that here we have still a further breakdown in the rank or order of the angelic host, as they are referred to as principalities, and powers, and thrones, and dominions. That's in Colossians 1.16, which says, where the thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. And so it seems that again we have a breakdown of the angelic host much as a military army is broken down with different regiments, and different orders, and different ranks, and different responsibilities. Well that brings us to the question, what do angels do? What's their jobs? Well, first of all, they praise God continually. They praise God continually. We see this in Revelation many times, chapter 4, verse 8, for example. We see them continually praising God day and night. Now, if God thought that praise was important enough, that He created angels whose primary function is to praise Him continually. And what does that say about our praise to God? What does that say about how much time we should spend in praising God? The psalmist said, morning, noon, and night, I will praise Thee. Seven times a day, I will praise Thee. The psalmist talks about praising God continually and repeatedly. And if God felt it was important enough to have angels praise Him continually, how much more should we, who've been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, who've experienced the salvation of God, lift up our praises to Him? Secondly, they rejoice in God's works. As I already mentioned in Luke 15, it says Jesus said, in the same way I tell you, there's joy in the presence of the angels over one sinner who repents. And so they rejoice over what God does and over His works. Now if they do, how much more should you and I rejoice over the works that we see God doing? Thirdly, they are ministering spirits to believers. They minister to believers. And they do this in several ways. Number one, they watch over churches. rather interesting passage in First Corinthians chapter 11 which talks about women having a symbol of authority over their heads and he says because of the angels, because of the angels. And the indication is that angels attend worship services and that because they do honor God so highly, they are concerned about our conduct during the worship service. And they want everything to be in order and proper before God. They watch over the churches. Even the indication in Scripture is that they in some way give some direction. Not from inside, but from the notion somehow from outside they have give directions. Over in 1 Timothy chapter 5, Verse 21, he says, "...I solemnly charge you in the presence of God," Paul is charging Timothy, "...and of Christ Jesus, and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality." And what's Paul writing to Timothy about? He's writing to him about what should go on within the church. Timothy's a pastor. Paul says, now I'm going to teach you how things should be conducted within the church. And this first epistle to Timothy is a church order of what things should go on, what should happen, qualifications for elders and deacons. And he's talking about if an elder sins and continues to sin, then you need to rebuke him publicly. And he says, now, you carry this forth without bias. Don't be biased. Don't give partiality to some. And he charges them in the presence not only of Jesus Christ, but in the presence of the chosen angels. Again, the indication is they are observing what goes on in the local church, and it is a concern to them. They also assist us Christians. In scripture we have angels giving instructions to people. Remember Joseph? The dream he had when he found out that Mary was with child, naturally he thought, uh-oh, she's been unfaithful to me and I'm going to put her aside. I'm not going to marry her. But the angel came and instructed him to go ahead and marry her that that child within her was of God. Now, we must exercise great caution when we come to getting any kind of direction from an angel. And we must exercise great caution because Satan, the scripture says, can appear as an angel of light. He can appear, and His emissaries, the demons, can appear as good angels. And therefore, we must put to the test any instruction that we think an angel has appeared and given to us, it must be in agreement with the Word of God. It must absolutely agree with the revealed Scriptures. Paul even said, if an angel should appear to you and preach a gospel other than the one that I preached, let him be accursed. The Scripture lifts up for us itself, the Word of God as our ultimate test to any vision or any dream that we have. And I simply mentioned that they do give instructions because Scripture does give examples of that. Secondly, they also gave food to Elijah in 1 Kings 19 when he was sent on a journey And he woke up from the journey and the angel provided food for him. So he assisted him. After Jesus' temptation in the wilderness, Matthew tells us that God sent angels to minister to the Lord Jesus after his 40 days of fasting in the wilderness. And so they assist believers. They watch over us, they assist us by giving us direction and even providing food in the Scriptures. Also they protect individual believers. This is D in your outline under Roman numeral 3. Psalm 91 says, "...for he will give his angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all of your ways." The Bible seems to teach here that angels do look over and guard believers. The question has come up, well, does that mean every Christian has a certain guardian angel? And that angel stays with that person all of his life? Well, we don't know if that's true or not. More likely, probably there's a host of angels guarding you and looking after you. You remember the prophet Elisha? was camped out in Dothan and that's not Dothan Alabama but over in the Middle East. He was camped out in Dothan and the king of Syria wanted to kill him because God was telling Elisha what the king was plans he had against the king of Israel and Elisha was telling the king of Israel and thwarting those plans. And so he said, I got to kill that fellow. So he sent his troops down, you remember? And the assistant, the servant of Elisha got up early that morning and saw that Syrian army surrounding his tent. And he got all upset and woke up Elisha and says, Elisha, look what's happening. And Elisha said, don't be afraid. Those who are with us are more than those that are with them. And to that, the servant thought, he has lost it now for sure, as only the two of us. And what does he mean? And Elisha said, Lord, open his eyes. And you remember the scriptures. It says, and he saw chariots and horses of fire surrounding the Syrian army. And so there was a host of angels protecting the prophet Elisha. Jesus said in Matthew 18, See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angel in heaven continually beholds the face of my Father. So it seems that Jesus teaches that little children have angels watching over them. And that is a blessing. I think probably most all of us could point back to a time in our lives where if we had not had some divine assistance, we would not be in here this day. One case in point happened to me when I was, I think, around four years old. I don't remember it obviously, but my mom tells me about it when I was riding my tricycle. And we lived about 300 yards from this store that we used to go get candy at this store. But we had to cross a very busy highway, Georgia 15, going between Greensboro and Sparta to get to this store. And it was a big long hill going up to our house, and then you had the road, and you had the hill, and then you had our house. Well, it seems that I got out on my tricycle, and I was going toward that store, and I wanted to get some candy. And I got going down the hill, and I couldn't stop myself, and I went into that busy highway, and when my mom noticed I was gone, she came looking for me, and upon reaching the top of the hill, she saw my tricycle turned over in the middle of the road. And one of my shoes left there on the road. So she immediately, of course, went on into the store and there I was asking for some candy. But anyway, my motives were right anyway. You know, I can look back at that and just think, you know, God had to be looking out for me. I mean, you know, the probability is much greater that I would have gotten hit than not hit just running out in a highway like that. And all of you can probably look back and see instances, whether it's with you or your children, where there had to be some divine intervention. in order for you to get through. And I'm convinced it was God and His mighty angels coming to to protect us and to assist us. Also the Bible indicates that angels take believers to heaven. They escort us to heaven. Now this is indicated in the story that Jesus told about Lazarus and the rich man over in Luke 16. Now, the Bible indicates this. You can't exactly say it's hard proof, but Jesus knew more about the afterlife than anyone, and I don't think he would tell something that was not true. But in this story, when Lazarus died, the angels escorted him to paradise, or to Abraham's bosom. Now, knowing the character of angels, and knowing the character of God, it makes perfect sense to me that this would be the case. Have you ever thought, maybe you haven't gone this far in your thinking, but have you ever thought, well, you know, when you died, how would your spirit know where to go? Have you ever thought, well, you know, what will I do? How will I know where to go? Well, it won't be a problem. God's angels are going to be right there, and they're going to usher you right in to His presence. No problem. You don't have to worry about that. Be at ease and at peace. Have you ever had a loved one who was alone when they died, a believer? I remember back when I pastored in Alabama, there was a lady whose mother lived alone, elderly lady, and the mother died there by herself. She had a heart attack. I think she was coming back from getting the mail one day. And the lady just felt awful that she was not there, you know, that her mother had to die alone. And I said to her, she didn't die alone. God's angels were there. She wasn't by herself. And they ushered her right into the presence of God. And so they assist believers as they escort us into God's presence. Well, where does all of this leave you and me? It's not just for our information, but it should be for our transformation. Where does it leave us? Well, first of all, we are commanded clearly by scripture over in Colossians chapter two, and let's turn to that, that we are not to worship angels. There are false teachings going around that tell them people to worship angels, to pray to angels. But we are not to worship them. Colossians 2.18 clearly teaches this. Paul says, let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind. We're not to worship angels. I don't think we should even spend time trying to converse with them. In the paper yesterday, the Atlanta Journal, There was an article in the religious section about angels. And there a Franciscan monk, Thomas Francis, out in the monastery here in Conyers, has written a book about angels. He has a web page about it. And he talks about cultivating a personal relationship with his angel. Now does that hit right with you or does that hit wrong with you? It ought to hit wrong with you, yes. Now, Jesus says eternal life is to know Thee, the only true God, and Him whom Thou hast sent. Eternal life is cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not say eternal life is cultivating a relationship with your angel. So you see how subtle it is, but yet how dangerous it is. Anything that takes your attention off the Lord Jesus is wrong. Anything that would divide your attention and lead you to spend time developing a relationship with an angel, rather than developing a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus, is nothing but a deceptive ploy of Satan. In Scripture, we do have instances where angels come to people, one in particular, and they do give information to people, and the person may ask a question for clarification, such as Mary, you remember talking to Gabriel, But there is no indication that they develop a relationship with that angel. Mary didn't say to Gabriel, now you come on back tomorrow and let's talk some more. You know, let's continue this relationship. You don't see that anywhere in Scripture. Anywhere. Because God doesn't want us. to carry on a relationship and develop a relationship with angels. And in this book, this monk tells people how they can develop their relationship with their angel. Now that is nothing but a subtle lie of the enemy. So do not fall into that trap. They follow God's orders and His alone. You remember the scripture passage that I opened with. over in Psalm 148 says, For he commanded, and they were created. It says that they wait to follow His word. They follow His commands. They don't follow ours. They perform His word. Now, I ask God to station His warrior angels around me for protection, around my family, around you, and around this church. But I don't talk to them and say, hey, go out there and guard for me, okay? Go keep watch. Because they don't listen to me. They're not going to do anything I say. They listen to God. So I ask him, I say, Lord, please station your angels around me to protect me or whatever. And then if God sees fit, which I think he does, he issues the command and they obey him. But I don't talk to them. I don't think God wants us to talk to them. And if they were to respond to you, then I would think you're not speaking to an angel of light anyway, but one of the angels of darkness, the enemy. As you know, spirit guides are very common in the New Age movement. where you get in touch with a spirit guide and that spirit guide leads you into the wisdom of the ages. And that spirit guide is nothing but a fallen angel which are the demons. God's angels do not come and enter into a relationship with a believer and through that relationship impart revelation and knowledge to them. Two examples I can think of where this happened One ended up in Islam. You know, Muhammad met this angel in a cave on a regular basis, and this angel gave him the information that became the Quran. Are you aware of that? Joseph Smith, the head of Mormonism, the guy that started Mormonism, met an angel, Moroni, who gave him information on a continual basis, developed a relationship. We never see that in Scripture. And when you get outside of Scripture and that starts happening, I get very suspicious and very concerned. And so we're not to develop a relationship with them. We're not to seek to communicate with them. If God wants to send one to give you a message, then you check it with Scripture and you make sure it is God's message. But you just talk to the Lord and let Him dispense them to your service as He so desires. Secondly, we are not to envy angels. We're not to think, oh man, that would be great to be an angel, wouldn't it? We're not to envy them. The Bible says, in fact, we shall someday judge the angels. Nobody knows exactly what that means, but Scripture says it. Why envy the angels? What angel has God ever called His Son? What angel can claim to be a brother of Jesus? As you and I, the redeemed, can claim. What angel can say that Christ died for me? They cannot. But we can say that. Thirdly, we must test the spirits. Paul mentions in 2 Corinthians, a passage that I have alluded to, 2 Corinthians, Chapter 11, Paul mentions that Satan poses as an angel of light. Over in verse 14. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their deeds. So we must test the Spirit. We cannot just accept every spirit. 1 John chapter 4 tells us as Christians it is our responsibility to test the spirits. It says, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. because many false prophets have gone out into the world. And by this you shall know the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist. And so we must test the spirits through the Word of God, check it with what Scripture says, through the blood of Christ, Is this message, is this spirit seeking to glorify himself or is he glorifying the Lord? And God's order. Is this message leading me to be in violation of God's order, to be in rebellion against God's authorities in my life? So we must check everything by the word, the blood and the order. And then this should lead us to give thanks to God. for His goodness toward us that He would dispense His angels to assist us and to help us and to guard us. We surely don't deserve it. It is a privilege that we as the redeemed have. And we should thank God for His goodness. It shows His goodness to us that He would do this. And so it should lead us not to praise angels but to praise Him. because of his infinite goodness to us that he would give us and create angels to help us. Let's pray. Father, I pray you would take this information from your word about angels. And you would minister your life to us, that you would apply it to us at our particular point of need. That we would not fall into the trap of misinformation about angels and to seeking to develop a relationship with them. or depend upon them but we would depend upon you and develop a relationship with you our living Lord and that we would thank you for your goodness that you have created angels to assist us as heirs of salvation in Jesus name Amen God says that they are ministering spirits to assist the heirs of salvation. Heirs of salvation are those who have been redeemed through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, who belong to Him. Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship. Christianity is not going to church, it's not being baptized, It's not having your name on a church roll. Christianity is a relationship with the living God through the Lord Jesus Christ. And that relationship comes as we...
