Jesus, Evangelical Scholars, and the Age of the Earth

Dr. Terry Mortenson, speaker and author for Answers in Genesis, shows in this message (which he gave as the keynote guest speaker at the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries in November of 2005) that all Christians believe in Genesis 1:1 -- but that they do not all necessarily believe in a young earth, six literal days of creation, and a global flood that brought judgment upon the world. Dr. Mortenson explains how a large percentage of Christians -- including Biblical scholars -- have compromised on some of these vital truths because of the influence of the old-earth presuppositions that are so prevalent in our culture. He gives details regarding the compromise views of the doctrine of origins, and shows how they contrast with what the Lord Jesus Christ taught.
