We pray unto Thee that Thou wouldst
hear us, with Thine omniscience and omnipresence. And we're sorry
we can't broadcast our services tonight, because Pastor Dan is
gone. We pray for Jill, who's left,
and Albert is with thee. We thank Thee, Lord, that departing
to be with Christ is far better. But we still miss him, and Jill
misses him and his wife. And so God, in direct honor of
her life, is before her. We pray for all these requests
that have been made. Help the people that are in need
and sickness, needing help, help them if they know the Lord Jesus
as their Savior, to be strengthened and put their faith and trust
and confidence in Him. Help us now as we open up Thy
Word in this book of 1 Corinthians. In Jesus' name we ask it. Amen. Well, I read 1 Corinthians chapter
15, and we're sorry it's not going out, but that's what happens
when sometimes don't go out. Pastor Dan's the expert in this,
and we're not, so. All right, 1 Corinthians 15,
and we're gonna be reading 54, 55, and 56. 54 of 1 Corinthians
chapter 15. If you have it there, Linda,
did you find where that is? Maybe my wife can help you there.
1 Corinthians 15, 54. Let's begin together. So when
this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal
shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying which is written, death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting?
O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and
the strength of sin is awe. 54, 55, 56. We'll turn on our
materials here. Good, so we can at least get
a recording and we'll be on thing. All right, verse 54, 1 Corinthians
15, 54. Did you find it, Linda? No, it's
okay. I'll just... Honeyvine, see if you can hurry
it up for her. So you can find it in her Bible. 1 Corinthians
15, 54. That's right, that's right. Does she have the same one? Right
there, 54, okay. All right, so on this corruptible,
what corruptible are they working with? What are they speaking
of? Yeah, Bill? Pardon me? And who's the people he's talking
about here? Who are the corruptible people
he's talking about? I don't know, but which type of humans? Who
are they? Hands on that. It says, so when
this corruptible shall put on incorruption. What is he talking
about? Who are the people here, Bill?
All of us. Everyone. All of us? Saved and
lost? Yes. Are the unsaved ever going
to put on incorruption? Well, the unsaved are not going
to put on incorruption. OK. It says, when the corruptible
shall put on incorruption. No. What's he talking about here? All right, it says in verse 53,
it says, for this corruptible must put on incorruption, this
mortal must put on incorruption. Yes, Jim? Yes, Jim? Hi, is there no Bible
study today? Well, there's a Bible study,
but we can't get it out because Pastor Dan is working with somebody
who died, and he's helping the people, the parents. But tomorrow,
or next, whenever we get to it, if you go to bibleslayer.org
and go to the yellow box on bibleslayer.org, you'll get the three different
buttons. Click the button on the right,
which is a Thursday Bible study, and you'll be able to hear everything
we did tonight, okay? Bibleslayer.org, the yellow box,
and the third one over. Okay, sorry for that, Jim, bye-bye. Now, you see what it says in
verse 53, this corruptible is going to put an end to corruption.
Who's that talking about? The unsaved Christians? How can there be unsaved Christians
at the same time? Who's that talking about? Is the unsaved ever going to
put an end to corruption? That who is this referring to?
genuine Christians who have what? Living? Yeah, that's what they
do. What is the condition of these
genuine Christians? Alright, genuine Christians who
have died and they're corruptible, their bodies corrupt, the dust
takes them away. When they put on incorruption,
when is that going to take place? Any hands on that? No, when is
it going to take place? Yeah, Bill. At the rapture, what
is the rapture? How would you define that? Any
hands on that? Yeah, Bill? That's the first phase of the
return of Jesus Christ. And where does the Lord Jesus
kind of come in the rapture? He's going to be in the clouds.
Clouds in the air. He's going to call up the dead
in Christ first. That's right. And we which are
alive will be called up with Him. Caught up with Him. Wouldn't
He be judged by the living? What is it? Wouldn't He be judged
by the living or the dead? No, this refers here, Barbara,
Linda, okay, get him in. When this corruptible, now these,
in this context, you see, it says that the last trump, the
trumpets shall sound, the dead shall be raised, in verse 52,
incorruptible, the dead, only the genuine Christian dead, those
that have never, born again, genuine Christian, not these
people who mouth say I'm a Christian, but they're not. Those that are
genuinely saved by trusting Christ as their Savior and Redeemer.
It says, they shall, the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. Who's the we referred to in verse
52? Any answer to that? The living Christians? Yes. The ones that are living now?
Genuine Christians. We genuinely, genuinely say,
not just people say they're Christians, whether Catholic or Presbyterian
or Baptist, name the name. for those genuine Christians
that are genuinely saved, born again Christians, to be changed. And then verse 53, for this,
corruptible must put on incorruptible. Who's referred to in this word
corruptible in this case? Any hands on that? Bill? Bill, just raise your hand if
you want, yeah, Bill? Yeah, but what corruptible is
referred to in this context? Non-believers? No. Born-again Christians. Where
are the born-again Christians that's corruptible? Where are
these Christians? These are genuine Christians
that trust in Christ their Savior. Where are they? Yeah, Bill. They're
alive in the world. How can they be corruptible if
they're alive? So what is the condition of these
people that are corruptible? So where are they? And what happened
to them? These are genuine Christians.
What has happened to them? Where are these corruptible people? Well, but if they're on earth,
are they corruptible? What happens? How do you get
to be corruptible? The corruptible, in that sense,
must mean that they are dead and in the grave. What kind of
people are the corruptible? Who are dead and in the grave
and corruption, dust to dust. They're genuine Christians. Those
who are born, those who are unsaved. These are unsaved? Yeah. But
it says in verse number 52, the dead shall be raised incorruptible.
What dead is he talking about? Saved or lost. The Christians
that are in the grave, we already answered that. All right, but
I'm asking the same question. In verse 53, for this corruptible,
are they saved or lost? In verse 53, it says the dead
should be raised incorruptible. So if they're saved in verse
52, why do they get lost in 53? So what should this be referring
to? All right, where are they? They're in the grave and their
bodies are corrupted. But they're not unsaved, they're
not non-Christians. These are genuinely saved, genuine
Christians, not phony Christians who say they're Christians and
they're not, not believing their head. They believe they're sinners. Lord Jesus died for their sins
and they've accepted and trusted. Let's say John 3.16 together. For God so loved the world that
he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him,
should not perish, but have everlasting life. Believe it, not just with
the head, but with the heart, and be genuinely saved. Now when
genuinely saved Christians die, their bodies do what? Decay? Decay and corrupt. And it's talking
about this corruptible, that is those that are corruptible,
genuine Christians, not talking about believers now, not believers,
lost people, When this Christ must put on incorruption, when
does that take place? Any hands on that? When this
corruption, those that are genuine Christians in the grave, or the
time of the rapture, and the rapture is what again? Any hands
on that? When the Lord Jesus Christ comes
and calls those that are genuine Christians that are corruptible
Only the genuine Christians in the grave will be transformed
into what, in verse 53? Into incorruptible. What does
incorruptible mean? They're saved? No, well they're
saved already, but they're talking about the bodies. The body will
no longer decay. No longer decay. What is it called
here in verse 53? What is it called? No, that's
next, but what is after that? Corruptness put on what? Incorruption. So they're going to get bodies.
Genuine Christians are going to get new bodies like unto Christ's
body. Like unto Christ's body. That's
called incorruption. Never will they corrupt anymore.
And then the last part of verse 53, and this mortal. What does
mortal mean? Who is that referring to? Humans. But what kind of humans in this
context? The genuine Christians that have
trusted Christ as their Savior, properly with the heart, not
just simply the head. This mortal, what does mortal
mean? Any hands on that? What does
mortal mean? Able to die. Subject to death,
able to die. That's right, we are mortals
right now. Not just all mortals, all people
are mortals. Whether saved or lost, whether bound to hell or
going to heaven. But genuine Christians talking
about here in this context, this mortal, those subject to death
now, what must they put on in verse? And what does that mean? Their body no longer, they'll
have new bodies which will never, never die. Very important. And when will that take place? No, when will that take place?
According to scripture. Any hands on that? Not until then? It won't take
place until then? Alright, so, alright. The time when the Lord Jesus
returns in the air to take away all those genuine Christians,
not the phony Christians, say they're Christians but they never
trust Christ genuinely. Born again judgmental Christians.
who are living now, subject to death, their bodies will instantly
be changed. Just genuine Christians. When
they're once changed, what are they called then? In this verse
53. What are they called once their
bodies are changed? At the rapture, the Lord Jesus
returns to them. Yes, what will that body be called?
They'll be immortal. Their bodies will be changed
and be immortal. What does immortal mean? Any
hands on that? What does immortal mean? Unable
to die. Live forever. Unable to die. No more mortality. The new resurrected
bodies of genuine Christians. How about the unsaved? What will
the bodies of the unsaved people be like and what is their destiny? Hands on that? Their destiny
is hell. Their destiny is hell. They'll
have bodies that won't be like the genuine Christian bodies.
Won't be glorified like us. Won't be glorified. But they'll
be unable to die, and where will their bodies, those resurrected
bodies, be sent? Heaven? Those unbelieving, non-Christian
people? They'll be sent to hell. They'll
be sent to hell, the lake of fire. How long does the lake
of fire last? Forever. It lasts forever. It's
everlasting death in the lake of fire. And so this is very
serious. In verse 53, this mortal, those that are, rather, this
corruptible, the corruptible bodies, he's talking about believers,
genuine Christians, must put on incorruption. When the Lord
Jesus returns, those in the dead will be raised first. Want to
get that, Bill? Those will be raised first, then
those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the
Lord in the air. And these mortals must put on immortality, corruptible
besides corruption. And then the mortal, those that
are now living at the rapture of the church, must put on immortality. Hello? Nothing can be out because you
didn't turn on those things, Dan. Nothing can be out? What do you mean, what things?
Nobody can hear anything because the servant audio is not on,
nor is Facebook, or whatever these other things. Facebook's
not on, nothing's on. What about Bible for Today? Bible for Today? I don't know
whether Bible for Today gets on or not. I thought we tested
Bible for Today. Well maybe, I'll have to tell them, but they
can't, they don't know about that. Have you ever used Bible
for Today.org? No. So I don't know whether that's
on or not, see? What is it? Yes. Yes. Tuesday
at 11 o'clock, the funeral will be at Visitation 10. We're also doing a presentation
on Monday evening from 6.30 to 6.30. 6.30. Monday night, huh?
Yes. And is it a regular day? What time of the... Funeral is
going to be on Tuesday. Presentation at 10 and funeral
at 11, is that it? Yes, that's correct. BibleForToday.org. BibleForToday.org. Bill? Go upstairs and verify
that in the upstairs. Is anybody still on there, or
no? Pardon me? Anybody still on the phone? No. OK, it'll be
BibleForToday.org. That's where it's streaming.
If anybody calls in. BibleForToday.org, that's the main web page. Yes, well, nobody knows
where that is. If anybody's listening or not,
you can ask them. Just to test it out. Anybody listening on
BibleForToday.org? I had Justine look at that one.
OK. Please pray for Jill Severance. Yes, we've asked them to pray.
The family there, this tragic death that took place this morning
at 6-07. Alright, thank you. Bye-bye. Yeah, that was Joy Wallnaufer
that was on the phone. And she can't get anything? Yeah,
she can't get anything. BibleForTheDay.org. Pastor Dan
says we'll work and see if I can call her. See if I can get this
call. Call Joy Wallnaufer. We'll be right there in just
a minute. It sure is, it's confusing very
much so. She's not answering. She's not answering. Okay, let's go back then to our
verses. I want to be very clear, verse
53, corruptible, those genuine Christians, not half-hearted,
phony Christians, but genuine Christians trusted the Lord Jesus
as their Savior in their heart, not just with their head, with
their mouth. They're dead. And those dead ones, corruptible
bodies that are back to dust, must put on incorruption. That
will happen when the Lord Jesus returns in the first phase of
His coming. We'll meet the Lord in the air, snatch up those people,
their dead bodies that are corrupted in their grave, they'll be changed
to incorruption, and they'll be snatched up with Him. And
then it says, the mortal, those of us who are genuine Christians
today in our bodies, subject to death, when He returns again
in the rapture, It snatched some people away, but put on immortality
with new bodies, glorified bodies like unto Christ, and they'll
be there for eternity up in heaven, up in heaven, and that's the
time that it'll happen. And then in verse number 54,
which we started tonight, when this corruptible, who's the corruptible
referred to? Put your hands on that. Verse
54, Vaughn. When this corruptible, what is
it? Corruptible, unsaved? Also unsafe for a corruptible,
in this context. Did you find out Bible for today? Even biblefortoday.org, huh?
Okay, thank you. All right, Pastor Dan just didn't
do it before he left and he's tied up. In verse 54, when this
corruptible shall put on incorruptible, who are the corruptible people
referred to here? Answer that. We'll put on incorruption. Are
the NSA going to put on incorruption anytime soon? No. Will they ever? Incorruption is good, isn't it? No. Well, incorruption is good.
Corruption is bad. Yes, I mean, corruption would
be non-safe. Not in this context. Not in this
context. Let's read verse 53 again. For
this corruptible, you see, And who is the corruptible here referred
to? You see, in verse 52, when you
were gone, that the last trump, the dead shall be raised incorruptible. What dead are referred to there?
Saved or lost. Genuine Christians only, not
these unbelieving phony Christians or Hindus, or Buddhists, or Shintoists,
or any of the others, or Jews that are not Christians, genuine
Christians, the trumpets will sound. That's the first phase
of the Lord's return, the rapture. And the dead, those that are
genuine Christians, dead, shall be raised, how? Incorrect. What does that mean? Never will
die. Never will die. New bodies, completely. They never died, in no longer
corruption, see? And then verse 53, for because
this corruptible, who are they again? Who's a corruptible? Born-again
Christians that are in the grave. Born-again genuine Christians
that are in the grave, they're called corruptible, must do what
in verse 53? What does that mean? What does that mean? This corruptible
must put on incorruption. Who's it talking about? Genuine, genuine Christians were
in the grave. Must put on incorruption. Nobody... That's right, not just nominal
Christians. Yeah, Bob? If they're dead, they're corruptible. Oh yes, corruptible means dead.
That's right. This is dead people, completely dead. The ones that
have died who are corruptible, incorruptible, their bodies turned
to dust. Genuine Christians must be changed
into what? Incorruption. And that means
what? Sick. Born again. No longer will their bodies be
any longer subject to decay and death. And when does that happen
again? At the time of the rapture. And
what is the rapture? What's going to be at the rapture?
Define that. Anybody recall that? What does
the rapture mean? What's going to happen at the
Rapture? The Lord will call those that are born again Christians,
both dead and alive. And this corruptible, when will
it take place? When the corruptible, those that
are genuine Christians that have died in the Lord and their bodies
are corrupted, when will that incorruptible take place? At
the Rapture. What is the Rapture? And what
will happen at the Rapture? Where will he come back? Where?
From the sky. Catch him up to the sky. And
those genuine Christians who have died before, like one that
just died this morning at 6.02. 6.07. 6.07. Okay, 6.07. Albert, Dan just
called us. Albert, who's now corrupted,
and he's going to be buried on Tuesday. And when that corrupted
by his genuine Christian, he loves the Lord Jesus, he accepts
him as his savior, genuinely, not phony. When the rapture takes
place, when is that going to take place? What does rapture
mean again? Snatching away. Who's going to snatch away? What
is he going to snatch away? Christ is going to snatch away
his church. Okay, the Lord Jesus Christ is
going to snatch away his morning of Christians. and there are
going to be two different places when he snatches them away, when
he comes in the air to snatch them away and change them. What
two places are these genuine Christians when he comes? Some
are in the grave, dead as a doornail, corrupted. That's right, some
are alive today which are mortal, subject to death. And when he
comes in the air, what's he going to do with those dead genuine
Christians? Corrupted genuine Christians,
what are you going to do with them? What are you going to do with them?
No, not the dead Christians. Resurrect them. Resurrect them, then I'm going
to call it incorruption. Then we which are alive are mortal. What's going to happen to these
mortals as they're living right today? Genocide. You're going
to call it immortality. So who's going to rise, who's
going to go up to meet Him in the air first? Corruption or
mortal? The dead in Christ shall rise. The dead in Christ are going
to rise first. The corruptions are going to
go first. Those dead genuine Christians are going to rise
first. It says, we who are alive, those mortal bodies that are
genuine Christians are going to be alive. And both classes
of genuine Christians, those who have died, those who are
living, shall meet the Lord in the air at the same time. So
corruptible and the dead as Christians, and corruptions when the Lord
Jesus returns, those who are still living, Subject to death,
we don't even die. We'll be instantly changed from
mortal subject to immortal with new bodies in both these groups,
dead genuine Christians, live genuine Christians, who will
rise and meet the Lord in the earth. Both will be changed for
eternity. Yeah, Bill? Albert's going to
rise. He'll rise first. Yes. That's
right. Vaughn? One thing I missed, Dan
called and didn't get to talk. Can you tell me what I missed?
Well, he just missed when Albert died in 607, was it? And the
service will be on Tuesday. Viewing 10 o'clock serves at
11. This is Thursday. It's going to be next week. Joy, let's see. Go ahead, Joy. Let me see. I missed the call. How do I get it back to her?
Let me see. Call Joy Walnoffer. Hi, Joy. Yes. Can you turn to
biblefortoday.org? Is it going on that? Pastor Dan
said it should be going on that one. Okay, hold on one second. It was just a picture with nobody
on it. Let me refresh it. One second. I don't know. Pastor Dan, he's our master internet
person. Without him, We're done. Okay. Pastor Dan said it would work,
but apparently it's not working. You try again. It's just a blank
screen of the pulpit with nobody on it. On my Eaton Bible for
today, right there. Dot org. We tried YouTube and
everyone, none of them. Pastor Dan didn't hook up those
sermon audio or anything before he left, and he's got him working
with these dead situations. funeral services. But Joy, remember, when we get
these up, when Dan has a chance to put these up on the internet,
go to biblestate.org, go to the yellow box, and the first thing
you see is AM, then PM, then the third one is Thursday's class. And you click on that, you can
hear the whole thing, what we discussed this afternoon, okay?
Yeah, Bill? And the funeral's gonna be on
Tuesday of Albert, That's severance. Thank you, Joy. See, he's got
to push all those buttons, and I don't know how to push the
buttons. I know how to push the button, my nose, my ears, but
not those computers. Software. So I want to be sure that in
this small discussion, very important discussion, that we understand
what verses 53, 54, and 55 mean. Let me ask again, as I've had
several times already, in this context, is it talking about
lost, hell-bound Christians? Or not Christians, but unsaved,
unbelieving, Or is it talking about genuine Christians who
have been born again, genuinely saved, trusting Christ? Which
group is it talking about? Only born again Christians. Only
born again, genuine. Some are in the grave, some are alive
on earth. Genuine Christians. Now in verse 52, which ones are
in the grave? What are they called? Dead. No. What's the word in verse 52?
They're not called dead. What's it called?
In verse 52, you mean verse? 52. Well, there's 52. Well, also,
well, 52, what is it called? Well, it's not, before, what
was the dead, what are they called when they're raised, before or
after they're raised? Incorruptible, okay. Now in verse
53, I will go ahead, John, that's good. What are the dead called
in verse 53? Corruption. And who are these dead? Savior
lost, genuine Christians or unbelievers lost, bound for hell? Who's it
referred to here in the context? Corruptible. Genuine Christians
in the grave are dead, Yvonne. So the Christians weren't uncorruptible. If they're dead, they are, yes.
They're talking about their bodies. Their bodies. Not their souls.
No, not souls, their bodies. Bill? Yeah, you're talking about
before the resurrection. Yes, that's right. When they're
in the grave, their bodies go to dust. That's where we go when
we die. That's right. That's where Albert
is right now. Not in the grave yet, but he will go there. And
he's called corruptible. These are only genuine Christians.
I talked about the others. Now it's true all the people
are lost and bound for hell and non-genuine Christians, their
bodies are gonna corrupt too, but in this context, these corruptible
are called genuine Christians who have died and are buried
or in the graves. And what is this in verse 53? Incorruption, who does that refer
to in verse 53? Who does incorruption refer to?
Non-believers? No. This is the context here.
Okay. Okay. Corruption. These are genuine Christians. Not phonies. Genuine Christians.
Where do you get this incorruption? When the corrupt, those genuine
Christians have died and gone to dust, when the Lord Jesus
returns, they'll be changed into what? Changed into what? What? Into what? Incorruptible. Incorruption. That's right. Corruptible. Will those bodies that are changed
from the grave, corruptible, to incorruption, will those incorruptible
bodies ever be changed again back to corruptible? Never. They will be genuinely transformed
to maybe just like Christ's resurrection body. Transformed. And then in
verse 53, there's another group of people. And this mortal, what
does that mean, who do they refer to? The mortals are alive. Okay, what kind of mortals are
they? Humans. All humans? No. Genuine Christians have trusted
the Lord Jesus as their Savior from their heart, not simply
their head. Genuine Christians are called mortal, this particular
one. Now everybody's even lost and bound for hell, everyone
in the world is mortal. But this context, it's talking
about genuine Christians who are still in this life, subject
to death. What's gonna happen to them?
What will they put on? In verse 53. Immortality. And what does immortality mean?
Unable to die. So genuine Christians who are
subject to death in these bodies we have, genuine Christians,
will put on sometime, not now, but sometime, immortality, bodies
that will never, never, never die. When will that take place? When will that take place? What
is it? When Jesus comes back. When Jesus comes back, where
is he going to come back? place will he return? Not earth. Now at the second
phase of his coming, he'll come to earth. But in this first phase,
the rapture, he'll only come in the clouds. And those corruptions,
Christians are generally corrupted, they'll be snatched away, they'll
be instantly changed to incorruptible bodies and be snatched up unto
the Lord. And those who are genuine Christians,
mortal, will be instantly changed to immortality and their bodies
will be also snatched up by the Lord Jesus Christ when he comes
in the clouds of heaven. That's called the rapture. Now
the second phase of his coming. That's right. That's right. That's
right. Hello? Hello? Well, Joy Walnoffer, Joy Walnoffer
went to BibleFray.org dead. All they see is the pulpit,
Dan. They see nothing of sound, nothing
of me, just the pulpit, only the pulpit. So that's dead too. What did you see when you were
up in your office? Just the pulpit, because I was
in the pulpit then. Just sat in the pulpit with the
light and that's it. May I talk to him? Yeah. Why
don't you turn off the video? Let John talk to you. John Watkins
is here. Yes, go ahead. Linda. All right. Now, here's this. It's too late. What is on off? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes you'll have to show
me how the software works. Okay. At least I'll know. Bring
the phone back. We'll go from there. So Dan, you're the only one who
knows, and it's not working. Bye-bye. Now the question that Linda had. Repeat it, please, Linda. Okay, now. Okay, let me ask the
question here now. After the rapture, when the Lord
Jesus snatches up the corruptible genuine Christians, not these
unbelievers people. And then the corruption that
is dead and dust will change to incorruption. And those that
are alive and remain, still living, will be changed to immortality. That will be taking a snatch
away of those people in the clouds of heaven. The dead in Christ
who are buried will go up there. The genuine Christians here will
go up there. After the rapture, what takes place? Any hands on
that? Tribulation period. All right,
that's a tribulation period. How long will that last? Seven
years. Seven years. And what will happen in the tribulation
period? It goes around the world? No. Wars? There will be wars? Wars
and wars. The Antichrist will rule and
reign. Right. I don't know whether that's going to be Obama or some
other Antichrist, but some will reign. The first three and a
half years of that tribulation, what will it be like versus the
last three and a half years? False peace. This guy will think
he's the greatest guy that ever was born. He's a liar, he's a
falsifier, this Antichrist, and he looks like peace. The last
Strenandius, what's going to take place then? The wrath of
God. The wrath of God, and it'd be
horrible. This guy will turn and just kill people, kill, kill,
kill. So that's the seventh year tribulation.
Then after that time, what's going to happen then? We have
the Battle of Armageddon at the end. At the end of the Battle
of Armageddon. That's the second phase of his coming. And where
will he come then? On the Mount of Olives. That's
in Jerusalem. That's the question that Linda
asked. Where will he come? The Mount
of Olives. What will happen to the Mount of Olives at that time?
North and South or East and West? East and West. No, north and south. Because
it's going to be the river, the Mediterranean River, will flow
all the way across. See, it's going to be dividing,
and the desert will blossom as the rose. There'll be fruit and
so on, because that whole thing will be changed. East and west,
Zechariah 14.4, and his feet shall stand in that day on the
Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem, on the east, and the
Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the
east and toward the west. Well, I guess that's what it
says. Half the mountains we moved to
the north, half to the south. See, because you have to have
this big river go east to west, right straight through. From
the Redditor and right through. Yeah, Linda? I forgot what I
was going to ask. Yes. Is that towards the end
of the world? Is that coming with what we're
talking about tonight? Alright, when will Armageddon
take place? You mentioned it, John. At the
end of the tribulation period. At the end of the seven years
of tribulation, when the Antichrist reigns for seven years, it'll
be so evil, so wicked, the whole group of people will rise up
and fight against all of Jerusalem and wars and murmurs of wars.
And the battle will be put down by whom? After that, there will
be a thousand years of peace called what? A millennium. A thousand years
of peace. But the Lord Jesus has to come
back because these battles, these killings going on by the Antichrist,
they say murder this, murder that. They gather around Jerusalem,
put all these Jews and everybody to death. And the Lord will come
back and smash them all, kill them all, and justify everything
and do righteously to murder them, kill them off. Yes, Linda. The Antichrist? The Antichrist.
Is he here now? He may be here now. He may be. We're not knowing. We don't know.
With ISIS, Egypt and Israel always had beginning of time. Right.
And now with other countries, Turkey and all these other countries.
Yeah, all different ones. I mean, they're all at war with
each other. That's right. Now, there's anti-Christian spirit
even in the Bible mentions those people that deny the Lord Jesus
Christ is perfect God, they're anti-Christ. In other words,
they're against the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, the spirit of the
whole time, that's right. But then the man called anti-Christ.
Now, anti in the Greek means two things. What are the two
things that anti means for anti-Christ? Two things. What is it? instead
of Christ. And what's the other meaning?
Opposed. So in place of Christ. In other
words, a phony. Ante means instead of, in place
of, false Christ. And then ante means really against.
He pretends to be just instead of and trying to be like Christ.
Ante in that sense. But he's really ante against
the Lord Jesus Christ in the real sense. So he's a phony and
a phony and a phony. And he may be here now. We don't
know. When does the rapture take place? The Lord Jesus snatches
away his own. Corruption, dead Christians put
on incorruption. Mortal Christians put on immortality.
When will that take place? We don't have any clue. Is any prophecy have to be fulfilled
before it takes place? No. Could happen tonight. Could
happen tonight. Well, we're talking about the
snatching away the rapture of the Lord Jesus, the first phase
of his coming, where he catches those Christians off into the
air. That's the rapture, see. And things are happening very
seriously in the earth, but the tribulation hasn't started until
the genuine Christians are snatched away. When you don't see any
genuine Christians in our church here, the genuine Christians,
when they're gone, then you know the tribulation started. And
those that are not genuine Christians will be still right here. They
won't see them because they were caught up instantly. They'll
say, oh, where did they all go? I haven't seen them for several
weeks. Where did these people go? They
don't know what happened to them. The Lord Jesus snatched them
away. Gone. And all these unbelievers will
be right here on earth. And will there be any genuine
Christians that will not be caught up by the Lord Jesus Christ?
Born-again ones. Every genuine born-again Christian.
What about those that we call carnal genuine Christians who
are walking after the flesh? Will they be left behind? No,
they will go up to. See, carnal and spiritual, no
matter what. See, a lot of people, that's
called a partial rapture. If some are left here and some
are taken. A lot of people believe that,
partial rapture. But if they're genuinely saved, genuinely born
again, genuine Christians, they'll be snatched away, no matter how
they live, live after the flesh or whatever. So we're born again,
we'll be taken up. That's right. And some people
believe that the genuine Christian will go through half the tribulation,
the first three and a half years. Is that true? No. And some people
believe the genuine Christian will go through the entire seven
years of tribulation. Is that true? When will every
genuine Christian be taken out of this world and be called to
be with the Lord? Before, during, or after the tribulation? Before
the tribulation, any part of it. Some believe that as a place
of, some other place in that tribulation
of God. But these are false views. So
this is very important. The corruption, verse 54, corruptible,
put in corruption at the rapture, mortal, put in immortality. Then
in verse 54, when this corruptible shall be put on incorruption,
and when does that take place? Seven years? No, when this takes
place. When will that take place? Rapture,
and what is that referring to, this corruptible? What kind of
people? Dead, those are genuine Christians,
born-again Christians, born in incorruption. And this mortal,
who's that referred to? In this context, who's the mortal
referred to? Currently living, genuine Christians.
Now everybody's mortal, subject to death, but this particular
class, in this context, refers only to those who are genuine,
born again, saved, Christian, trust in Christ is saved. When
this memorial is put on immortality, and that's going to happen when
again? When the Lord returns where?
In the air or to this earth? In the air. After He returns
in the air in the rapture, what's going to take place after that?
After the rapture, He takes these dead Christians and live Christians
with Him in the air. What's going to happen after
that? No. What's going to happen after
that? Bill? And after that? But after it
takes us home, what's going to happen after we go? How long? Seven years of tribulation. Who's
going to rule and reign at that time? Antichrist. What will happen
during the first three and a half years of the tribulation? And
at the last half of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will go wild,
killing everybody he can kill. Then the Antichrist will go to
Jerusalem and all the people there and try to have war. That's
called the Battle of Armageddon in the Valley of Megiddo. It's
a place in Jerusalem, the Valley of Megiddo. We've got harmonism
as a hill of Megiddo. They're going to fight and fight.
A real war, a solid war. Who's going to stop that war?
The Lord Jesus Christ. He'll come back in the air at
that time. Where will he come back at that
time? Right to earth, right in Jerusalem. Mount of Olives. He'll come back and that Mount
of Olives will split. north and south, and east and
west the rivers will flow. The opening will be east and
west, but the area will split north and south. That's what
that verse said in Zechariah. And so the waters come in and
the desert will blossom as the rose, as it says in the book
of Isaiah. And then there will be the millennial reign of Christ
after it comes back. How long will the millennial
reign of Christ last? 1,000 years. What will happen then? What will
happen during that 1,000 years? During or after? During. During? Yeah. What kind of rain would
we have? A lot of perfect, no water, no
anything. All peaceful. Peace. Yeah, peace.
Madeline, did you have something? Would we be baptized again if
Jesus comes back? Who's the we? Wait, all of us. Well, all of us. Lost people
will not be anything but Well, the death of a distressed Christian,
but genuine Christians, saved Christians, born-again Christians,
biblical Christians, that follow John 3.16. Let's say it again.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. Now, what kind of belief is this?
Just a thought, the mind, phony belief? What kind of belief must
it be? What can you believe? Heartfelt,
genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A lot of people say,
oh, I believe, I believe. They don't believe any more than
a snake. It's got to be genuine. He said
he lived, or he was a good prophet. Exactly. But this is believing
the heart shall not perish. What does that mean? Shall not
perish. Never die? No. Shall not perish. What's the perishing part? Live
forever. No, perishing. What does that
mean? Either believe in Him, or shall
not perish. What does perish mean? Well, yes, but what else? What
is it, perishing, that a lot of people don't even believe
exists? Shall not perish. Where will those that do not
trust genuinely in the Lord Jesus Christ, do not believe in Him,
where will they go? Yeah, Bill? They will end up
in the lake of fire. Lake of fire and hell, that's
the perishing. Trust in Christ genuinely is
the only way to escape the eternal fires of hell, the lake of fire.
Shall not perish, but have what? Everlasting life. Genuine faith
equals everlasting life. When does that everlasting life
begin to those that genuinely trust the Lord Jesus Christ?
Yeah, Bill? When you die. When you die? No. As soon as
they accept genuinely the Lord Jesus Christ, they have right
now, when that happens, everlasting life. Not tell them when they
die, but right now they have it. And when they die, they go
to heaven, but when they have everlasting life, they have it
right the instant they trust, genuinely trust, the Lord Jesus
as their Savior. Well, those are several verses,
interesting verses, got off on different things, but we covered
them pretty well. May the Lord bless us, we'll stop right here.
Do you have any other questions before we close tonight? We've
been shut up to the outside audience, nobody ever heard about us, but
we're gonna tape this, we have it already taped now, and when
Pastor Dan gets back, he's gonna put it up on the internet, and
people, click on biblefortoday.org, Go down to, not the brown box,
but the yellow box. Click on that. The AM service
is first this past week. The PM afternoon Sunday service
is next. And this Thursday service here
will be the third one, or one, two, three. Click on that. You'll
be able to hear everything we talked about, even though it
didn't go out live. Any other questions you might
have? If not, let's close in a word of prayer. We thank the
Heavenly Father for these clear verses. On genuine Christians
in the graves, like our friend Albert, corruption takes place. It turns to dust. When the Lord
Jesus returns in the air, the corruption and death of genuine
Christians will put on incorruption. Those of us who are still living,
the mortal, subject to death, genuine Christians, put on instantly
immortality, immortal bodies, like unto His, and we will be
changed and caught up to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall
we ever be with the Lord. We thank Thee for these truths.
We thank Thee for John 3.16, what it really means. He loved
us, so loved, that He gave His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ, from heaven to come down here and then to die on the cross
for our sins, that we by genuine faith and trust in him with our
hearts, not just the heads, will never perish, never go to hell,
never go to the lake of fire, but have right now, as soon as
we trust him, everlasting life. And we thank thee for this. Help
us, Lord, in all the understanding of our verses of scripture. In
Jesus' name we ask this.
