here this morning to the book of Mark. Book of Mark chapter 6. When you find your place there, stand if you would. We'll read the word of God together. Mark chapter 6. We'll begin there. In verse 32, we'll read down to verse 44. When you find your place, stand if you would. The title of this message this morning is, Let's Sit in the Green Grass. Let's sit in the green grass. Mark chapter 6. And we'll begin there in verse 32. Let's sit in the green grass. It makes a difference where you sit. Book of Psalm chapter 1, in the first few verses there, talks about how a man starts off walking, and then he finds himself standing, and then he finds himself sitting. And the Bible says, let us make sure we're not sitting in the seat of the scornful. And so where you sit makes a big difference. And so Jesus said, let's sit in the green grass. And so let's think about that this morning. Let's read the word of God together there in verse 32, Mark chapter six, the Bible says, and they departed into a desert place by ship privately. And the people saw them departing and many knew him and ran a foot thither out of all the cities and out went them and came together unto him. And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people and was moved with compassion towards them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things. And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him. and said, this is a desert place, and now the time is far past. Send them away that they may go into the country round about and into the villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat. And he answered and said unto them, give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, shall we go and buy 200 penny worth of bread and give them to eat? And he saith unto them, how many loaves have ye? Go and see. And when they knew, they say, five and two fishes. And he commended them to all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks by hundreds and by fifties. And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven and blessed and break the loaves and gave them to his disciples to sit before them And the two fishes divided he among them all. And they did all eat and were filled. And they took up 12 baskets full of the fragments and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about 5,000 men. Let's pray. Father, we come to you this morning. We do thank you, Lord, for your goodness. God, we have had a good time today. Lord, just celebrating the victories of VBS and just thanking you for your goodness and for the time that we had and the opportunity, Lord, to spread your word to the community. Lord, to encourage each other and to help each other to grow in Christ. Lord, I pray here this morning that you'd help us once again. Lord, as we give our hearts to you, Lord, as we just shut out the world for a while and just let you speak to our hearts about whatever it is, God, that you need to talk to us about. Lord, there's so many things out here in this world that are vying for our attention, but Lord, I pray that here for just a short while, God, that you'd help us, Lord, just to listen to that still small voice that's perhaps trying to speak to us today. And that, Lord, if there's anybody here this morning that's not saved, that they would make the greatest decision of their life, which is to come to know you as their Lord and their personal Savior. Lord, your word says that you know not what shall be on the morrow, for what is your life? It is but a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanishes away. Lord, I pray that you'd help us today to realize that the decisions that we make today on eternity are the most important decisions that we can ever make. God, speak to our hearts today, we love you and thank you for it all, and this we pray in Jesus' name, amen. Amen, all right. As we look here in our text, we see there in the book of Mark, chapter six, and as we read the few verses here in verses 32 and following, I entitled this message, Let's Sit in the Green Grass, and as I said, it makes a difference this morning where you sit, it makes a difference who you sit with. And I know we quote this verse all the time, and I say it a lot, but I do because it makes a difference. The Bible tells us in his word that the company that we keep is gonna make a difference in our life. The Bible says the way of transgressors is hard. And whenever we live a life that is out here in this world and we live a life that is sinful, then we can add more to the hardships of life. Listen, just living the Christian life is difficult, but whenever you're trying to live out here for the world and living like the devil, and living in sin, it just compounds that and it makes things that much more worse. And so what I'm trying to get us to see and understand this morning that where you sit makes a difference. The Lord Jesus was wanting these folks, he saw where they were sitting. We read here in our text here this morning that he saw them as sheep that was upon the hillside as scattered and not having a shepherd. and his desire was to be a shepherd to them. His desire was to love them. The Bible says he had compassion on them, and so here today, what I want us to see and understand is that we serve our God here today, that no matter where we're sitting, listen, we find ourselves maybe perhaps sitting in a desert place, a place that is dry. a place that is barren, a place where there was won't, a place where we're wondering if we're ever gonna be able to, if we're ever gonna have the things in life that maybe perhaps we're searching for and that we're longing for. And praise the Lord, the Lord Jesus showed up, and whatever he did, he said, let's go sit in the green grass. Let's go sit in the green grass. But whenever we see the opening part of this, the Bible says, the disciples said, listen, we're sitting in a desert place. But you know what the Lord Jesus wanted to do? He wanted to transfer them from a desert place to a place of green grass. What does the Bible tell us in the book of Psalm in chapter 23? What did the Lord Jesus tell his sheep? He said, the Bible tells us that he lays his sheep down in what? The green grass. In the green grass, in the pasture, the pasture of the green grass, there in Psalm 23. And so we see the shepherd, his desire is not for us to be in a desert place this morning, not for us to live and reside in a place that is barren and dry and dusty, but his desire for us today is to be in a place that is green, a place of fulfillment, a place of nurturing, a place of provision. The Lord Jesus wanted to transfer the place where they were sitting. He saw where they were. You're sitting in a desert place. He says, my desire for you is that we sit in the green grass. Let's take a look at our text here in verse 32, because I believe just like you and me here this morning, we've had our moments there in the desert place. We've had our moments there in the dry, in the barren places of life. You may even be there here this morning. You say, you know what? I kind of feel like I'm sitting in that desert place today. I kind of feel like that things are kind of dry this morning in my spiritual life. But I just want you to know and understand that the God of heaven desires to have fellowship with you. He desires to have a relationship with you. And he desires for us to sit in the green grass with him. The Bible shows us here, they were in verse 32, the Bible says they departed into a desert place by ship privately. And the people saw them departing. And many knew him, and watch this now, The Bible says, and ran a foot thither out of all the cities, and out went them, and came together unto Him. So the very first truth I want us to see today is there in verse 32 and 33, the very first truth I want us to see today is I want us to see their hunger. The Bible says that these people, when they saw the Lord Jesus, there was one thing that they did. When they saw where he was going, the Bible says they ran afoot. They ran, they wanted to spend time with Christ. They had a hunger and a thirst for righteousness. They wanted to know what it is that Jesus had to say. I tell you what, do we not need that in our homes and churches all across America today? Do we not just need it in America today? We just need people to have a thirst for the things of God. People to have a desire to hear from the Lord, not a man's opinion, but what that it is that God would have to say. The Bible shows us here in verse 33 that they ran afoot throughout all the cities. They had a desire to hear from the Lord. They wanted to hear what he had to say. Psalm 42 verse one, the Bible teaches us that David, the Bible says, he says, as the heart panteth after the water brooks, so does my soul panteth after thee. You say, well, what is the idea of that? Is that David saw God as someone that he desired to have so much in his life that he was running. There in Psalm 42 in verse one, we think about the heart that's a deer. And you think about a deer that is running. It is galloping there through the woods. And it is running, and it is running, and it is running. And it is searching for someone. It is searching for something. The Bible says as the deer, panteth after the water brooks. It is tired, it is wore out, it is running, it is searching, it's looking for fulfillment. The deer is looking for something there in Psalm 42 verse one that'll give it exactly what it needs. And we see here are scattered across the hillside here in this verse. The Bible says that Jesus looked out upon the hillside and saw people scattered as sheep without a shepherd. The people were starving, they were thirsty, and they ran afoot because they wanted to hear what the Messiah had to say. They wanted to hear what this man, who spake like no other man, had to say. They wanted to hear this man, who spoke the words of truth and life. They wanted to hear what this man had to say. And the Bible says they ran afoot. They were thirsty, they were hungry. just like that deer there in Psalm 42 verse one that was panting after the water brooks. There when you think about this, how many have ever ran so hard that you were, you had to stop and you were just. Anybody done that before? Now think about this. Now when you're running and you're panting, there's two things that you're probably gonna want. Number one, you're panting because you need what? Air. Needed some air. You feel like you're about to die, right? And so you're panting because your body needs air. And so you're doing everything you can to suck in as much air as possible. Number two, next thing you want is you probably want some water. You probably want something to drink. Did you know that air and water are the two things that you can't live without? David is panting after the water brooks. He needs air. He needs water. And he looks at God as being the one that can provide both of what he needs that sustains life. And I believe there's a lot of people in this world today, churches all across America, people sitting at home and those that are lost. Perhaps they're searching and perhaps they're looking. They need something. They need the Lord Jesus who can provide for them exactly what it is that they need. He can give them exactly what they need to have life. The Bible says that he that has the Son of God has life and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Jesus provides. exactly what we need. We see here in this verse, we see the hunger of the people that were scattered across the hillside. The Lord Jesus, he had compassion on them. The Bible says there in verse 34, and Jesus, when he came out and he saw much people, was moved with compassion towards them. Compassion, the idea that I see a need and I wanna do something about the need that is there. Is that also? What the Lord Jesus Christ did there on that old rugged cross, listen, the God of heaven didn't look down upon man and say, listen, man needs a savior. Well, I guess I'll just let him figure it out on their own. No, God didn't do that. What'd he do? He saw man that was born in sin and lost and on his way to a devil's hell and there was no way that they could have victory. unless it was through the Lord Jesus Christ. And so God sent his son, his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus, that died on that cross and gave himself and bled and died for us so that we could go to heaven this morning. God had compassion. on this world when he's seeing his only begotten son. And when God looked down from heaven, he saw this world as sheep without a shepherd. And listen, I'm just trying to get you to see and understand this morning that if you find yourself in a desert place and you see yourself as David did in Psalm chapter 42 and verse one, as that deer that is running around, that is panting, that you're looking for something, you're looking for someone that can supply you exactly what you need, which is life and fulfillment. then Christ can do that. And the Bible says in verse 34 that Christ was moved with compassion toward them because they were a sheep not having a shepherd. In essence, he looked amongst the people and he saw them and he says, it looks like they're lost. They have no guidance. They have no direction. They need someone to lead them to greener pastures. And that's why the Lord Jesus said, let's get out of the desert place. and let's go sit in the green grass. Man, praise God for that, that we have a savior today that says, let's get out of the desert, let's get out of the dirt, let's get out of everything that's dead and dying, let's get out of this mess, and let's get over there and sit in the green grass. God has a desire to transfer your position this morning. And if you're here today and you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ, God has a desire to meet you exactly where you are. Did you know that when God found me, I was in a desert place? That's exactly right. When God found me, I was in a desert place. You know why? Because we're all sinners. The Bible says there's none righteous, no, not one. For all have fallen short of the glory of God. When God found me, I was in a desert place, and God's desire for me was to say, you know what, Brian, you lost and on your way to a devil's hell. The only way that you can be saved, the only way that you can get to heaven, the only way that you can get victory over sin is to follow me. And I praised God one day, long time ago, I accepted the call of the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted him as my savior, and the Lord transferred me from a desert place to a place of green grass. And one of these days I'm looking forward to getting to heaven. I don't wonder if I'm gonna get there. I'm not working to get there. Listen, Lord Jesus already did all that ever needed to be done for me to get to heaven. So I'm not working to get to heaven. I'm not trying to do the best I can to get there. I'm not worried about if I'm going because I know my salvation is sealed firmly in the Lord Jesus Christ. No man can pluck him out of my hand. I am safely on this side of the Lord Jesus. And so here this morning, If you find yourself sitting in a desert place, understand that God here today is knocking on the door of your heart, wanting to transfer your position from the desert to the green grass. But only you are the one that can say, I'll accept the invitation. I wonder how many today would hear the voice of God knocking on the door of their heart and say, nah, it's all right, I don't wanna sit in the green grass, I'll just stay in the dry desert. I wonder how many back then, whenever the invitation went out and Jesus said, let's go sit in the green grass, I wonder how many just looked up at the Lord or looked around at everybody else and said, nah, I don't think I wanna sit in the green grass today. I'll just stay over here where it's dry. I'll just stay over here where it's barren. I'll just stay over here where nothing's growing. I'll just stay over here on this side. I'll probably dare say, even though I wasn't there, but a lucky guess of mine would be, I would say none probably did. You'd say, well, it'd be insane. Why would you forsake the green grass? Why would you forsake that? Well, why would you not want anything to do with the green grass where you can have pasture and fulfillment? And why would you forsake that when you got the dryness and all this other here? Why would we do that? There's a lot of people today. that'll not just hear this message, but a lot of people today just in general, will understand that the God of heaven has a better plan for them for their life, has a desire to reach out to them and save them out of from where they are, to bring them from death unto life, and they'll sit there and say, I would rather sit in a desert place. There's a lot of people that'll do that today. What I'm trying to get you to see and understand this morning is that Jesus desires for you to sit in the green grass. It is in the green grass where you get the blessing. It is in the green grass where you're gonna see God do some tremendous things. Notice there in verse 34, the Bible says, when he came out, he saw much people. He was moved with compassion toward them because they were as sheep not having a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things. They had a hunger for the things of God. The Bible said when they saw the Lord Jesus come out, they ran afoot there in verse 33. Out of all the cities, I mean, everybody came out to hear what the Lord had to say. They had a hunger. And as I said, I believe there's a lot of people that are hungry today. Hungry for truth. Hungry to know what is right. But we gotta be careful of that which we bring into ourselves and take into ourselves. The Bible says that the devil, Satan, transforms himself into an angel of light. I was telling the kids this week, there's a caterpillar. I saw it this week. How many of you watch nature stuff and animals and things like that? I was watching this nature show this week, and there was this little caterpillar. It's called a silvery blue. You can look it up yourself. It's called a silvery blue. And what this caterpillar does is it surrounds itself with ants. Ants are attracted to it. And the reason why ants are attracted to it is because this little caterpillar, whenever these ants come to it, it secretes this nectar off its back. And you can watch it on a video. And this little caterpillar, it's just about this big, but that little thing, man, when ants get around it, it'll shoot this little nectar. It looks almost like a drop of dew on its back. And it'll shoot this little nectar thing up on its back, and these ants will come around, and it's so sweet, and they feed on it, and they enjoy it. And because they do, what they do is they protect this little caterpillar, because they enjoy what this caterpillar's giving to them. And so what they'll do is they'll surround it, and they'll, in essence, really, they'll fight for it, and they'll even defend it, because this little caterpillar is meeting their needs. It's giving them exactly what they want, whereas, otherwise, what they would have done is they would have devoured it and killed it. Because it's giving them what they want, they sit around it, and they protect it. This caterpillar even gives out these hormones through its skin that tricks the ants into thinking that it's nearly like one of them. And so what these ants will do is they'll say, well, let's take this caterpillar back to the house. And that's exactly what they do. These ants, they'll gather together, they'll take this caterpillar, this little bitty caterpillar, and they'll take this caterpillar and they'll bring it back into their home and they convince these ants, along with this little caterpillar, convinces all the other ants in the colony that it's good. And so they just leave the caterpillar alone. Well, once they start leaving the caterpillar alone, you know what the silvery blue does? It crawls through the holes of the ant house underground and looks for the larva. And it eats the babies, devours the babies. Then it cocoons itself up and blossoms into a butterfly and flies away. What I'm trying to get you to see this morning is that be careful what you are consuming into your life. There's a lot of hungry people out here that are searching for truth, and while you're searching for truth, the devil's doing everything he can to throw stuff out there for people to consume. The Bible says in the last days that there will be people that will seek teachers having tingling ears. They want preachers, and they want what they feel like is their truth for them because it makes them happy, it makes them feel good, it don't step on their toes. And they wanna live in their own sin. And they wanna enjoy it. And they wanna live their life in that. And so what we see here is a perfect picture of what sin does and what false truth does. It secretes this nectar which gets everybody feeding on it. It acts like your friend. It seems like it's gonna be promising until you bring it back to your house. And then the next thing that happens is it devours your future. devours your future. And next thing you know, you're looking around, you're thinking, what happened to all the kids? What happened to the future? What happened to everything? While the butterfly done transformed itself into a cat into a while, the caterpillar done transforms into a butterfly and flew away. I'm trying to get us to say today is there's a lot of hungry people in churches and in the world this morning. And what we gotta do is, is we gotta make sure that we're careful about that which we are bringing into ourselves. Because there are things out here in this world that'll taste sweet, it'll seem sweet, and it'll be right. but we bring it back to the house not knowing exactly what's going on, deceived by it, and what happens is, is it ends up destroying our family. Listen, it can be sins, it could be things that we got ourselves into, that we have just began to believe in our life, whatever it could be. I'm just trying to get us to see today, there are hungry people, but watch what you eat. What you sit down with makes a difference. And Jesus said, let's get out of the desert and sit in the green grass. So we see their hunger, next. The Bible says in verse 35, and when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him and said, this is a desert place, and now the time is far past. Send them away that they may go into the country round about and into the villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat. And he answered unto them, and give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, shall we go and buy a 200 penny worth of bread and give them to eat? And he said to them, how many loaves have ye? Go and see. And when they knew, they saved five and two fishes. So we can see in verse 35, they're in a desert place. We can see in verse 36, they have nothing. When the Lord Jesus found me, that's exactly where I was. I was in a desert place and I had nothing. But you know what the Lord Jesus decided to do? He decided to give me that which I needed. The Bible says, when we read on through, we already read through the text, the Bible says they did all eat and were all filled. that God's desire is to fill us this morning. Listen, if you walk away from the service today, and I don't care if it's in this church or another church or wherever, you walk out of the service, and if you walk in, if you walk in with your hands closed and not ready to receive nothing, if you walk in with your fingers in your ear, not ready to hear nothing, then you know what's gonna happen, you're gonna walk out the door with nothing. With nothing. You have to come into the house of God with your ears open and your hands out if you wanna get something. There's a lot of people that are hanging on to this and they're hanging on to that. How can God give you anything if your hands are already full? At some point, you gotta let go of some stuff so that God can fill it. The Bible shows us here in the text These people were in a desert place and they had nothing. And they were hungry. And he said, send them away. But the Lord Jesus had a different plan. He says, no, what I desire to do is to feed them right here where they are. Now listen, they were tired, they were weary. I mean, there was a lot that was going on. It was a long day. Let's just send them away so they can go into town. And Jesus says, no, let's give them something to eat. What do you got? Well, all we got is five loaves and two fish. I mean, what does one of the other, what the other gospel says, what is this among so many? I mean, how can we feed all these people with five loaves and two fish? I mean, how can we do that? So not only do we see there's a hungry people, but we see that there's a hindrance. And what is our hindrance? Our hindrance is that we're always looking at what we have rather than what God can do. We'll look at our five loaves and two fish and say that's all we got. But if we'll put it in the hand of God, we'll see what God can do with five loaves and two fish, amen? I told the kids this week, You know, it's not so much about, it's not really what we have. Was the five loaves and the two fish that important? No. What is important is, is that we were willing to give it to God. But you see, what we'll do is we'll say, well, it's just five loaves and two fish. I don't have enough. I don't have anything. That God's just saying, just give me what you got and I'll turn it into something. But you know what we'll do? We'll play tug of war with God. And God will say, just give me what you have. And we'll say, well, no, God, it's not enough. And we'll pull it back. And he's trying to pull it back. And he said, listen, if you'll just let me have it, I'll show you what I can do with it. And we're pulling on it. No, it's not enough. Why are we playing tug of war with God? God just says, just give me what you got and just let me do something with it. He didn't say, well, you had to have this type of fish or you have to have this type of bread for me to bless it. He didn't say, well, it had to come from a certain place, or it had to come from a certain person for me to bless it. No, he just said, well, what do you got? Well, I got five loaves of bread and I got two fish. Fine, give it to me. And watch what I can do with five loaves and two fish. Don't play tug-of-war with me, just give it. And so what we see is one of the things they did was they surrendered it. We don't read here in the text where they play tug-of-war with God, but one of the things they do is they did, they surrendered it. They surrendered it to God. The Bible says in verse 38, he says, how many loaves have you? He says, go and see, and when they knew, they saved five and two fishes. And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass, because God was wanting to be a blessing to them all. He wasn't gonna leave anybody out. He says, listen, tell them all to sit down, and tell them all to sit in the green grass, because I'm sure that by now, everybody's tired of sitting in the desert place. Bring them to the green grass. Because over here in the green grass, where the blessings are, I'm gonna break you some blessings over here in the green grass. Over in the desert place, he taught them. Over in the green grass, he blessed them. We learn a lot of things in the desert times, do we not? Do not the desert times and the dry times of life teach us a lot of things? And one thing it does teach us is that the desert ain't nothing like the green grass. There is no comparison between the green grass side and the desert dry side. There's not even a comparison. I mean, it's like you would be crazy to wanna continue to sit in the desert like that, knowing that the offer of God is right here and it's so clear. Come from that side over here to this side. So clear. But yet every day, people will walk away from that invitation. And notice this invitation went to everybody. The Bible says in verse 39, and he commended them to all sit down by companies upon the green grass, every single person. And they sat down in ranks by hundreds and by fifties. And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up into heaven, he blessed. And the very next thing is, he break the loaves. and gave them to disciples to sit before them, and the two fishes divided he among them all. We see the hunger of the people. We see the hindrance, because they didn't figure what they had was enough. But then we see the helper who shows us that I can do all things, that there is nothing impossible with me. Let us understand here this morning that we serve a God that can do anything. You believe God can do anything? You believe this morning with your heart that God can do anything? And if you believe with your heart this morning that God can do anything, then let us not play tug of war with God. Let's just give what God's asking us to do and then watch God do with what he can do with what we'll just voluntarily give him. A surrendered life, a surrendered heart. God, you can do all things, and so they surrendered it, they gave it to him. The situation seemed impossible. How can five loaves and two fish feed 5,000 men, not including the women and children? How can they possibly do that? Because we serve a God that can do all things. We say, well, preacher, I wanna see, I wanna see God do some amazing things like that. Well, you can. Are you willing to surrender that which he's asking? Are you willing to follow him to the green grass or are you gonna continue to sit in the desert? The Bible shows us here that these men, in verse 40, they sat down in ranks by hundreds and fifties. And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, he blessed and he break the loaves. And what I want us to see here there in verse 41 is that we see that God blessed it and then he break it. Listen, there are things in life that in order to be blessed like it needs to be, it needs to be broke, too. In order for things to be blessed like it may need to be and to be broke, too, you say, well, Lord, I got this. He says, okay, well, I'm gonna have to break it. Well, Lord, I don't want you to break it. Well, you're gonna miss out on the blessing. But God, it's five loaves and two fish. Well, watch me break these five loaves and two fish and see what happens. Sometimes God may have to break some things so that you can see the blessing that can come out of the breaking Does that make some sense? Sometimes God may have to break some things So that you can see the blessings that can come out of the breaking Had the fish and the loaves not been broke Nobody would have ate The Bible says Lord Jesus he took these loaves he broke them He blessed them and he broke them. The Bible says he took these two fish there in the latter part of verse 41, and he divided he them, and he divided he among them all. In verse 42, and they did, what's that next word? All. They did all eat. And were, what's the next word? Filled. They did all eat, and they were all They were all filled. They did all Eden, they were filled, and that's exactly what God's desire is to do, is to take you from the desert place to bring you to the green grass, to shift your life, to change your direction, to bring you from one place to another, to show you that, listen, you can learn some things over here in the desert. The blessing's gonna happen over there in the green grass. and we shift ourselves over to him, and we give God control, and we stop playing tug-of-war with God, and God says, just give me what you have, because we feel like what we have is not worth it, and God says, you just give me what you don't think is worth it, and I'll prove to you what I can do with what you got. And he says, you just give it to me. And so we give it to God, we surrender it, and we allow God to do what he needs to do with it, and sometimes the blessings come through the breakings, and then all are filled, and all are blessed. So we can see this morning, we see the hunger, we can see their hindrance, but then we see the helper. The helper, the Lord Jesus, who comes along and the Bible says in verse 41 that he looks up into heaven, he blesses and he breaks, and you say, well, how does this happen? Well, Jesus said himself that without me, you can do what? Nothing. Without me, you can do nothing. And so here in the center of it all is the Lord Jesus Christ. They're saying, let me, let me break what you've given me and I'll show you how I can bless everybody with it. Sometimes the blessings come through the break-ins. You say, well, preacher, I feel like God's speaking to my heart this morning. What is it that God's speaking to your heart about? Maybe you're in the desert place. God desires for all to be filled. What does he want to fill them with? Well, number one, it would be himself. When we get saved, the Bible says the Holy Spirit of God comes and lives and dwells inside of you and seals himself inside of you. Your body then becomes the temple of the Lord. And so everywhere you go, the Lord goes as well. He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Joined together as the idea that it's something that is joined together that is inseparable. I mean, that's what the Bible teaches in the book of Romans, that there is neither height nor depth that can separate us from the love of God. So, you get saved. The Holy Spirit of God comes and lives and dwells within inside of you, the same God that lives in me, the same God that lives in you. And then we become the body of Christ. The body of Christ. So here today, if you're not saved, the greatest thing you can do is get saved. Leave the desert place and get in the green grass. Let's pray this morning. As we sit here this morning and you think about whatever it is that God is knocking on the door your heart about, Could be that you're sitting here today and you're saying, preacher, I'm not saved, I need to get saved. Could be that you're sitting here this morning and you're saying, you know what, I'm sitting in a desert place in my life and I wanna come to the green grass. And God is knocking on the door of your heart this morning, saying, come with me. Did not God say there in the book of Isaiah, come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord. And God found me in the same place that he's gonna find you, in a desert place. So if you're here today and you're not saved, the greatest thing you can do in your life is get saved. With nobody looking but just me and God, you sit here this morning and say, I'm sitting here today, I'm not saved, but I would love to know Christ as my personal savior. But as I sit here today, I'm not saved. Would you just slip your hand up so I can see anybody anywhere? I'm not gonna come to you, I'm not gonna embarrass you, but preacher this morning, I'm not saved. And I need to get saved. Anybody like that here today? Can you slip your hand up so I can see? I'm not saved, but I need to get saved. Could be that you're here this morning and you're saying, you know what, I feel like I'm saved, I'm on my way to heaven, but I feel like I'm sitting in the desert. And I want to come back up here to this green grass. Maybe you just got away from God. Maybe you're just going through some difficult times. And you just want to come up to this altar today and say, God, just help me today. I want to sit in the green grass this morning. I want to be filled. As the piano plays, whatever it is that's in your heart, whatever it is that's on your mind, Preacher, would you pray for me? I wanna sit in the green grass today. We can stand to our feet. We're gonna lift up the altar this morning. If you'd like to come and pray, I encourage you to come. If it's a matter of salvation, if it's a matter of salvation, you wanna come up here and get saved, you say, Preacher, I need to get saved today. And I'll have to I have someone take the Bible and show you this morning how you can get saved. Preacher, I need to get saved this morning. You may just wanna come up here and spend some time with the Lord. Just wanna spend some time with God in prayer. That's what this altar is for. I encourage you to come. Spend some time with God today as the Lord has knocked on the door of your heart. you a a a a a so All right, thank you all so much for being here today. Visitors, thank you so much for coming.
